AmbivalentIt was finally the waited Saturday. Minji originally planned her weekend for her to rest, as always. However, she decided to change it this time as she noticed how easily tired her body can get. So, she decided to go for a jog after what seemed like a month of not doing so. Also, since it was autumn, it was the best weather to be outside, it wasn't too cold and it sure wasn't hot.
"I'll be back soon!" Minji told her mother. Mrs. Kang was worried of her daughter's sudden change, she's never like this. She's always the lazy and lay back girl. Chill, as the youngsters would use to describe. After she had gone for about four laps, Minji was exhausted and decided to take a break. That should be it for today. She told herself.
As she gulped down her water, she remembered Irene. She recalled how they both met, she seemed nice. However, she wasn't sure if that was the right word to describe her know. The elder was still mysterious to her. There was something about her and Wonho that she didn't know, or probably worrying for nothing. Minji shrugged her shoulders.
"Hello?" Minji answered her phone. "Okay, I'll be there." she answered shortly. It was her friends, they still claimed that something was bothering her although she clearly said it was nothing. Nonetheless, they called her for breakfast at their usual favourite cafe to talk about it. Luckily, Minji brought enough money with her for breakfast.
She informed her mother at first before getting into a bus. As soon as she stepped into the cafe, she was welcomed by the mouth-watering smell of coffee. It made her hungry, of course. Chaeyoung then called for her and she walked over to their table. All three made their orders before proceeding to the real topic, which Minji kept denying.
"I told you, I was just tired that day. Nothing to be worried about." Minji defended herself, however none of the girls bought this. "Minji, we've been friends for five years now. We can differentiate the truth and the lie, so please give us some answers." Jungyeon slammed her palm lightly on the table startling the two girls, although it wasn't loud, but still.
Minji opened to answer her, she knew she had to tell them eventually about this. Well, it would be new to Chaeyoung since she had no idea but Jungyeon could already figure this out by now. She was there when they saw Wonho at the shopping mall. She looked at the two girls, making sure she won't regret telling them this. They can be trusted, they've been friends for five years.
Just when she was about to speak, all three of them heard the ringing bell by the cafe's door. Normally, that wouldn't stop Mi
