Greatest idea? Greatest idea my foot! 

"I can't face them!" Haewon grabbed Seungcheol by the shoulders and shook him agressively. "I'm ruined! They won't be able to see me and Jungkook's going to find out and he's going to lose his friends because they may think he's crazy  "

Seungcheol stared at her boredly, spinning the basketball on his fingertip. The two of them were now at Haewon's spot: the rooftop. They sat side by side on the dusty rooftop ledge, observing the distant city life happening outside of school. Haewon was whining on and on about her upcoming obstacle while Seungcheol was forced to listen to her sufferings. 

"I think you need to distract yourself with something." Seungcheol pushed his basketball towards her, resting his chin on his palm. "By the way, you still have like a long time before that happens, right? How many weeks do you have   one, two?"

"It's..." Haewon murmured quietly as she thought about when Jungkook wanted to meet up with her. 

Two weeks away? No, it was way shorter than that. Suddenly, at the realisation of when it was, Haewon clung herself on to Seungcheol's arm. "TWO DAYS AWAY! I'M GOING TO DIE!" Her face contorted in to a hideous mixture of sadness and fear.

"You're already dead though  "

"And you're not making the situation any better." Haewon glared at her handsome ghost friend who smirked at her. 

"Sorry, I've never been one to come up with good suggestions." The boy shrugged, going back to playing with his basketball. "Why don't you just say you have an important matter to take care of at home?" Haewon shook her head, and Seungcheol sighed. "This is the first time I've come across a situation like this, so I don't really know how to help you... Don't worry Haewon-ah, you're smart. You'll surely find your own method to save yourself when the time comes."

"You think so?" Haewon asked Seungcheol unsurely and the boy nodded in response.

She turned to stare at the breathtaking view before her. Her mind was in a cluttered mess, desperately raking for a brilliant idea she hoped would pop up all of a sudden in her brain. It was already hard enough trying to hide the truth from Jungkook, so she wasn't sure what she was going to do in two days. All she knew was that she was going to be doomed, for life. 

"Hey, Jungkook, where's your friend? You said she's really pretty, right?" Hoseok grinned idiotically.

Jungkook's lips were pressed in a straight line and his eyes were concentrated on the entrance of the cafe he and his hyung were in. Whenever the jingle of the bells that hung above the cafe door tinkled, he would always whip his head to see if it was Ji Haewon, only to be disappointed. It had been thirty minutes but the girl still hadn't arrived yet, which was starting to worry him. 

"When is she coming? It's been forever-" Jimin whined, hanging his head backwards in boredom. 

"Kim Taehyung, stop throwing sugar packs at me!" Yoongi stood up from his seat and tried to reach for Taehyung's hair, but the younger boy had pushed his chair backwards in time while giggling. 

"But it's been forever since I saw you, Yoongi hyung! Don't you think you should let this go just once?"

"You punk, we just saw each other last week- You know what? Get your over here  "

"Ah, ah, hyung!" Taehyung stuck his tongue out teasingly. 

"Guys, sit down, Jungkook's friend could be coming any time soon and you wouldn't want her to see you guys like this, would you?" Seokjin had saved the day again. Yoongi settled back down like a pouty child and Taehyung was still snickering.

"You know, Jungkook... Are you introducing us to your girlfriend?" Namjoon spoke up, no longer scribbling song lyrics on his notebook for his upcoming music assignment due next week. He sniffed dramatically, "I never thought the day would come when we would see you having your own girlfriend. You've grown up a lot, huh." 

"She's not my girlfriend, hyung." Jungkook frowned and sat down. Where are you, Ji Haewon? "I think I should find her." He told his friends before sprinting out of the cafe, his ears blocking out all of the calls for his name. 

Once he was outside the cafe, he frantically scanned his surroundings for any sight of Haewon. He ruffled his hair frustratedly when there were too many people passing him by at the same time. There was no way she would be here, not among all these people. Maybe she'd lied to Jungkook when she said that she was going to show up, but in his heart he knew the girl wasn't the type of person to do that. 

He was about to make his back inside the cafe when from the corner of his eye he could spot a figure with long, light brown locks of hair scurrying in to a small alleyway between the cafe and convenience store. The height of the figure and the way she almost clumsily tripped reminded Jungkook so much of Haewon. It was impossible to him for it to not be her. 

Jungkook took quiet steps towards the small alleway. His back pressed against the wall of the cafe building as he took as small steps as possible. On the other side of the wall, there was a girl cupping tightly, praying to not be caught. A short while passed and he finally decided to jump out in front of her. But his plan to corner her backfired when he felt a body clashing on to his.

The person's back hit the wall and Jungkook hurriedly slammed his hand on the wall to stop himself from falling on her. His head was lowered, and he knew there was a small distance between them, so he didn't want to look up. He let his breaths take over the quiet atmosphere, save for the people outside the scene. His eyes continued to fix themselves on the ground where he could spot the heel of the girl's shoes stuck to the wall.
