Yunho was about to dash forward to save Jaejoong but Yoochun stopped him.

“Let go Yoochun!” he snapped

“Something doesn’t seem right…look…” said Yoochun in a serious tone of voice

Yunho paused as he turns back to the scene before him. Just as Yoochun has stated, something was strange. For one thing, Jaejoong was smiling. Rather than showing pain or fear, he looked like he was expecting this from the start.  It reminded him of when Jaejoong fought against Rain. He purposely allows himself to be wounded in order to get to Rain. Could he be using the same tactics?

Jaejoong slightly turn his head to face Changmin with a smile “About time you two show up…I was getting tire of waiting….but…do you mind removing your hand…it’s quite uncomfortable…If you don’t…I’ll have to remove it myself”

Jaejoong grabbed onto Changmin’s hand.  Changmin can feel Jaejoong pulling as he groaned. He knew if he doesn’t pull out his hand, Jaejoong will not hesitate to rip it apart. With that thought in mind, Changmin removed his hand as Jaejoong gasped from the sudden pain. More blood tainted the floor as he fully turns to face changmin.

“You are so mean Changmin ah…attacking your hyung from behind…didn’t I taught you before…” Jaejoong’s lips curved into a grin “that if you going to attack someone from behind…you should aim to kill…because if you let your target live, you will be the one who die”

Yunho felt a sudden cold chill run up his spine upon those words from jaejoong. The expression on his face and his tone of voice was different from the usual Jaejoong. He can’t help but get this feeling like this person standing in front of him isn’t the same person he knew. Yoochun, Junsu and Yoona exchange looks wondering what is going on. Those vampires that have entered the apartment didn’t make any movement to attack them but rather they just remind by the windows and the balcony as if waiting for their master’s instruction. At this point should they fire? Should they make the first move? But considering the number of vampires out there, would they attack and harm the other people living in this building?

“J-Jaejoong ah!” Yunho found himself calling out to him

Upon his name, jaejoong turn to Yunho and notice his uneasy expression.

“Don’t give me that look…I’m perfectly fine…I am a vampire after all…this little flesh wound is nothing…” he smile in hope to ease Yunho’s mind but it did little.

Suddenly they heard footsteps coming from the balcony as broken glasses on the floor begin to breaks more under her foot.

“So this is where you have been hiding….” Came MyungHee’s voice as she stood next to Changmin

Yoochun looked from MyungHee to changmin and then to Jaejoong. It’s still hard to swallow that these three people before his eyes are the remaining first Generation vampires. The very same vampires who fought in the blood war, who was feared throughout the world, and whose names rings of blood. To Yoochun it was as if history has come to life as all the air and gravity disappear. Junsu was overly excited regardless of the danger they are now in. To him as a researcher, he believes he is witnessing a scene that will be placed in Hellsing’s History. In the past there were barely any information on Woojin and his direct links and now Junsu is standing in front of them making him the first research to see them. Yoona on the other hand was shaking. She wasn’t sure who they are but she can tell they are powerful.

“I was expecting something a little bigger…” said MyungHee as she looks around the apartment

“Well…you are more than welcome to leave…that will save us a lot of trouble throwing you out…” Jaejoong smiled at her

MyungHee ignored him as she looked pass Yoochun and spotted Hojoon tied to a chair. She couldn’t help but let out a chuckle because now her question has been answered. She was wondering why the place didn’t smell like blood shed as she had hoped it to be. She shouldn’t have expected much from a human puppet. Her eyes then paused at Yunho and notice the deadly glare she is getting from him. The more she looks at him, the more she wants him to be her servant. Once everything is completed, she will turn Yunho into a vampire and make him serve her for eternity. Nothing excites her more then to break a prideful man as he kisses her feet.

“Neh jaejoong Oppa…do we really have to fight during the blood moon?...can’t you make it easy on all of us to just come with us?” ask MyungHee

“Never!” Yunho answered before Jaejoong could “he isn’t going anywhere with you guys…”

Jaejoong smiled “well…there you have it…”

MyungHee shot Yunho a glare “then…do you not care about all these people living in this building…with a snap of my finger…my lovely servants will storm the place and fill the air with deadly scream and scent of Blood…”

Yunho, Yoochun, Junsu and Yoona looked at her in total shock that they have taken this entire building as hostages. If they have known that MyungHee was going this far, they would have hide somewhere else where there isn’t so many people around. Yunho clinched his fist tightly blaming himself for not thinking things thoroughly. Now they have to think of a new plan, a plan with that will save them as well as the people in this apartment complex. But the question still remains, how will the three of them handle two first generation vampires and an army? Not to mention the fact that the blood moon is making Jaejoong unstable. He can’t tell if Jaejoong will suddenly decide to attack them or will he help them.

“how cruel…how could you vampires care so little?...is killing innocent human that fun?” Yoona asked in a shaking voice at the thought of innocent men, women, elder and children dying. Just imagining it filled her with fear and at the same time anger.

“What world did you crawl out of little girl? Since when do vampires care about their food?...” MyungHee asked

 “But…but…Jaejoong Oppa does…”

Upon these words, MyungHee glared at her as Yoona lower her gaze and stepped behind Yoochun. The last thing she need is for a mere human to remind her of what jaejoong has become. It doesn’t matter if Jaejoong care about the human more than his own kind because at the end, Jaejoong will return to them.

“I’ll ask you again Jaejoong oppa…are you willing to come with us and save your precious human lives or fight us and suffer the losses…” she asked

This choice reminded Yunho of when Rain asked him the question of choosing Jaejoong or Heechul. Now the decision lies with jaejoong. It’s either he choose the vampires or the human. Compare to Yunho’s choices, Jaejoong’s choices has a greater number of casualties. If he choose the vampire, they will be spare but millions will die when Woojin return. If he chooses the human, all these people in this apartment building will die. No matter what choice he makes, Jaejoong will be burdened with the lives that will soon be taken. Now Yunho understand why Jaejoong reluctant to get involve with other humans, the reason is because of this. The more human get involve with him, the more lives he will be responsible for. Jaejoong on the other hand knew his body far better than anyone else. Even if he chooses to fight, he will not be able to guarantee the safety of everyone. To make matter worst, the flesh wound isn’t healing as fast as it usually does. This night of the blood moon, it has weakened him far greater then he thinks. Changmin and MyungHee knew about this so they decided to attack him from behind, injuring him. With this injury, he will not be able to move around as much or he will continue to bleed. Once he hit the low blood count, his thirst for more blood will be over powering that he won’t be able to control himself.  But he also knew that if he decided to go with them, MyungHee will most likely not spare anyone like she said. He knows her far too well to figure out what she is planning. She pretended to give him a choice when really there isn’t a choice to make. Jaejoong can’t help but regret appearing in front of Yunho. If he had just kept his distance like he did with his other family members than he wouldn’t have to worry about this.

“Oi jaejoong!” Yunho’s voice snapped him out of his thoughts “don’t forget…you are bond to me…you took my blood…in other words you belong to me…you promise to fight at my side…promised to help me full fill my goals and dream…I will not tolerate you leaving myside…”

Jaejoong look at Yunho for a bit before he smiled. Just when Jaejoong was lost in his thoughts and unsure of what to do, Yunho quickly give him a clear path to take. He turn to face MyungHee and Changmin.

“Sorry…I won’t be able to go with you…I had already made a promise to two people that I must keep…” jaejoong apologized to MyungHee and Changmin whole heartily. This only pisst them off more as their eye burns of hate and jealousy. For one thing, jaejoong was their brother first; jaejoong was an important parts of them little family. How could he just abandon them like this, how could he sided with the human and completely threw away all those memories he shared with them. It’s unforgiveable, there is no way they are going to let Jaejoong live peacefully, there is no way they are going to allow these human have him.

“Please Changmin ah…MyungHee…let’s stop this now…I really don’t want to have to fight you two like this…just tell me where you are hiding Woojin…we can return to how we once were…”

“Enough!” MyungHee’s voice ringed loudly “I won’t forgive you Jaejoong oppa…I won’t forgive you!”

To Jaejoong, MyungHee looked like she was going to cry out of sadness and anger. For the first time Yunho finally felt like he understood these two vampires before him. It wasn’t that they are doing what they were told to do for Woojin’s sake. All they really wanted was to restore their family. To have a family member betray their love, betray their trust is the same as having the person they trusted most stab them in the back.

“We will revive Woojin…we will take you back…we will destroy all the human who live on this planet and fill the land with redness!!!” shouted MyungHee as she ordered her servants to attack. Yoochun, Junsu and Yoona aim their guns and sounds of gun fires echoed throughout the entire apartment. Jaejoong stood in the middle of the room unmoved as MyungHee and changmin stood where they stand and stared at him. They didn’t care for the fight that has surrounded them nor do they care for the sound of bullets flying.

“There will be no turning back once the line has been crossed…” said Jaejoong

“I think you have forgotten jaejoong Hyung…the line has already been crossed…” Changmin smiled with a hint of sadness

“Everything will be over by the morning light regardless if we succeed in reviving master woojin or if we end up dying…” said MyungHee

They look at each other as memories of the past flashed before their eyes. Everything started with Woojin, the first direct link he brought into his family was Rain, the second was Jaejoong, third was Changmin and lastly MyungHee. Being the only girl in the group made her uncomfortable but jaejoong was there for her. Even though he is a guy, he was willing to act like an older sister to make her smile. They family were small but it was warm. Rain and jaejoong acted like older brothers to Changmin and MyungHee. All of them were similar thus allowing them to create a strong bond. But without them realizing it, those centuries apart has weaken the bond and now that bond has completely been broken. They will not be able to return to how they once were.

Without any warning Changmin was the first to attack. Jaejoong blocked it with his hand as he got knocked a few feet away but use his feet to bounce right back toward changmin. Both of their nails has grown long and deadly as they fight each other. The look on their face was enough to tell MyungHee that they are seriously fighting with the intent to kill each other. To her this fight was different because it’s the final fight, the fight that will decided everyone’s fate. She can’t help but felt her chest tightening at this thought. MyungHee closed her eyes as an image of her smiling along with Jaejoong, changmin, Rain and woojin flashed before her eyes. Once she opens her eyes again, it glow a beautiful golden color as she dashed forward to assist changmin.

Yunho pulled his trigger as the silver bullets hit one of the sires on the forehead as it turns into ash. He informed the others where to aim the gun as many vampires begin to fall. The apartment became a complete mess. One vampire jumped at Yunho as he quickly turn around and aimed his gun and pull the trigger. One of the vampires grabbed onto Yoochun from behind as he shake him loose and ducked down before jumping away and pull his trigger as the bullet hit the vampire and turn him into ash. Junsu was able to hold his ground but Yoona was having a bit of trouble as Yunho assisted her. He then spotted a vampire was about to bite down on Hojoon who is still tied to a chair. He aimed his gun and pulls the trigger saving Hojoon.

“Junsu!! Watch over Hojoon!” Yunho ordered

“Y-yes!” said Junsu as he stood before Hojoon and fight off any vampires that come his way.

“This isn’t good…this apartment is far too small…there isn’t enough room to move!” thought Yunho as he quickly scanned the room but wasn’t able to find jaejoong anywhere as well as MyungHee and Changmin. He cursed as he quickly searched the area but was not able to find them anywhere

“Jaejoong…OI JAEJOONG AH!!!” he shouted but no answer. It was as if they have completely disappeared as the worst possible scenario played in his head.

Hyroi was running through the street totally exhausted but she knew she have to keep moving. Right now the people in danger are Yunho and the others. She had tried calling them back but it was no use, no one is willing to pick up their cell phone. Even the house phone proves useless. Just then she heard voices coming from nearby as she walked further and spotted a group of delinquents. They have disobeyed Hellsing’s order to stay in door and have roamed the city at night. They were talking and laughing about killing a few vampires. Next to them are a motorcycle and a helmet. If she wants to reach the apartment, she will need a ride. Without any warning, Hyori dashed forward and got onto the bike startling the delinquents who attempted to fight and stop her from stealing their bike. She only knocked them away before staring the motorcycle and drove off ignoring the shouts of the young delinquents. As she got closer she could see a group of bats flying toward Yunho’s apartment. This has become worst then she thought it would be as she took out her phone and dialed a number.

“Tomohisa…gather everyone and bring them back to the middle of the city right now!!! It’s an emergency!!” she shouted without explaining anything before hanging up.

Tomohisa looked at his phone wondering what all of that was about. He recall Hyori running off with a horrify look on her face. He knew she wasn’t kidding, something must have happened. He wondered if he should obey her and have everyone return or continue with what the higher ups has ordered them to do. If he sends everyone back, he will most likely face trouble. Tomohisa clinched on to his phone tightly before sighing. No matter how much he loves his job, his guts are telling him that something far bigger is happening. He pressed a button to his ear set

“This is your captain Yamaa Tomohisa…Lee Hyori has left the premises and given me full authorities over the Korean branch…I want everyone to stop what you are doing and head straight back toward Hellsing…there will be no question ask…I repeat…report back toward Hellsing immediately!!” he voice ring throughout all the earphone of everyone hunters.

The hunters look at each other a bit confused but none the less they obey. Tomohisa couldn’t help but get this bad feeling and feel a terrible disturbance in the air. Even the cold night air has begun to smell like metallic.

“Just what in the world is going on?” he wondered

Hyori quickly drove through the empty highway as Yunho’s apartment building slowly came into view. She could see a great number of vampires around that area as she fastens the speed.

“Please be safe everyone…”

Yoona’s voice echoed throughout the apartment as a rather large vampire had her pin to the floor. Her hand was held down not allowing her to lift her gun. Yunho quickly grab onto the vampire and pulled him away from her before firing his gun as the vampire turn into ash. He then quickly grab on to her and pulled her to her feet.

“Are you okay?!”

“I can’t…I can’t do this…there…there too many!” she shouted in fear

Yunho knew this was too much for a newbie like her. He should have listen to his inner voice and force her to go with Hyori. But now it’s too late to turn back

“look Yoona…I know you are scare but you have to pull it together! You chose to be a hunter! This was your choice to be here! You told me you were going to have my back…you were going to fight the battle I fight…you stated you are my partner and I no longer have to fight alone…so right now I need you!! I need you to be strong! I need you to be brave like you did back then fighting MyungHee! I know you can do it…don’t let fear win!” shouted Yunho

Yoona was startled upon his loud voice but she knew he was right. She can’t go back on her words now, she will have to be strong. Yoona took a deep breath and her shaking faded as she nodded her head. Yunho smiled at her “once everything is over…I’ll treat you to anything you want”

“Really?!”

“Yep…so you better live till the end”

Yoona grin “if there is a reward from You Yunho Oppa…I’ll make sure I live”

Yunho nodded his head at her before standing up and look around once more. Like earlier, he still haven’t seen jaejoong or the other two. Just where in the world did they disappear to? Just as Yunho thought of this, the wall facing the building across the street broke apart as Jaejoong came flying into the apartment. Without Yunho knowing, their fight has been taken outside.

“Jae…”

Yunho paused when he notice the smile spread across Jaejoong’s face. It was full of excitement like before. It was as if he is enjoying this, fighting for his own personal desire rather than remembering what this fight is all about. He was about to say something to jaejoong but it was too late. Jaejoong has jumped back outside toward changmin and MyungHee as they blocked his attack. Yunho went toward the edge of his apartment and looked outside. To his surprise a great number of vampires has disappear. Jaejoong has taken it upon himself to handle those outside as well as MyungHee and changmin. He is doing too much by himself; does he think this fight is only his?

Just then he heard glass breaking from below and notices a few vampires have entered other apartments within the building. He can hear them screaming and crying out of fear but there is little Yunho could do. He wants to save them, but how? How is he going to save them?

“JAEJOONG AH!!!” Yunho shouted loudly as a desperate plead for help

Upon hearing his name, jaejoong separated from Changmin and MyungHee before floating higher into the air. He closed his eyes and inhaled. Changmin knew right away what jaejoong was planning to do. But in the state he is in, by using the power of spoken words, jaejoong will surely die.

“jaejoong ah! Stop!!” he shouted

Jaejoong didn’t listen as he open his eyes as it glows brightly under the night sky and the blood moon floating behind him.

“MyungHee! Tell your servants to stop attacking the building!!” shouted changmin

“what?!”

“if you don’t, jaejoong will kill himself and then we won’t be able to revive Woojin!”

MyungHee turn to look at jaejoong. She doesn’t want to stop things half way as she debated of what to do.

“stop them now!!!!” Changmin’s loud voice echoed

MyungHee let out a frustrated sound before commanding all her vampires to leave the apartment. Yunho, Junsu, Yoona and Yoochun were confused as to why the vampires have retreated. All of them exited the apartment building as Yunho and the gang walked toward the edge and felt the night breeze from the broken wall and windows. Floating in the middle of the two building is jaejoong.

“why did they stop?” Junsu asked

“I’m not sure either” answer Yoochun as he looks at Changmin and MyungHee. He notices the panic look in their face as he turns his attention to jaejoong who continues to float up in midair. The flesh wound from Changmin has yet to heal as a great amount of blood has been lost. His clothes almost completely drenched in blood as it drips from the air to the ground below. The night breeze continues to blow causing jaejoong’s blonde hair to sway back and forth as the area is filled with total silence.

“Jaejoong ah!” Yunho shouted to him

Jaejoong turn to face Yunho who was startled to see the blank expression on his face. There was certainly something strange going on with jaejoong.

“Changmin oppa…do you…do you think…”

“I don’t know…if jaejoong use it during the blood moon, his body will not be able to withstand the power it had and will perish once it is fulfilled…”

“che! That is so like jaejoong to use the most dangerous trick to get what he want” she cursed

Changmin didn’t say a word as he continues to gaze at jaejoong wondering what he is planning to do next. Is he still going to caste it or is he going to ignore it and return to those human. Yunho reached out his hand toward Jaejoong.

“Come back now…”

Jaejoong however made no movement. He could feel the overwhelming thirst for blood. His throat begins to dry as his chest tightening. All these blood lost has awakened his inner desire to drink. His mind has begun to go blank. Jaejoong knew he is starting to lose control of himself. If he goes to Yunho now, he will not be able to stop himself from killing him and drinking his blood.

“Come here jaejoong ah!” Yunho spoke

Jaejoong didn’t make any movement to go toward him. Yunho was starting to feel a sense of panic washing over him wondering what jaejoong is doing. Is he going to leave him? Is he going to join the vampires before him to save them? Whatever jaejoong was planning, Yunho fear he will leave his side. He doesn't understand it but when it comes to Jaejoong, Yunho has this feeling of wanting to keep him at his side. Could this be call a obessession? or is it his desperation to keep someoen powerful at his side to win his battle? whatever the reason was, yunho deosn't want to be separated from him. This reminded him of when Hojoon asked him if he loves Jaejoong. Yunho don't know if it is love or not but he intended to find out after this night is over.

“Come here Jaejoong! Come here now!” he shouted desperately

Changmin watch Yunho and notice the concern and fear in his eyes. He could tell Yunho desperately want Jaejoong to return to his side but why would a human want his enemy so close to him? What kind of relationship does Yunho have with jaejoong? Just how deep are they bonds? This reminded Changmin of his past. He too has once loved a human who expression the same concerns as Yunho did for Jaejoong. But human’s life span doesn’t last long. She died in his arm at an old age. Since then Changmin has sworn it upon himself never to get involve with human again, he doesn’t want to go through the same kind pain ever again.

“what should we do?” Myung Hee asked

“Let wait and see what Jaejoong Hyung is planning…”

Jaejoong knew the easiest way to end everything is to kill himself. He will save the person he promise to watch over and prevent the resurrection of Woojin. But even him as a vampire fears death. When a human died, they go to heaven but when a vampire dies, he will forever remain in darkness. He will not go anywhere but wonder in the abyss for eternity. It’s not like a vampire has a soul to reincarnate.  Suddenly he felt a pair of hand circled around him from behind as a voice ring in his ear

“Come to me Jaejoong…”

He recognizes this voice as he quickly turns around but there wasn’t anyone there. Only the large blood moon lies behind shining brightly. The voice continues to ring throughout his head as he felt his entire body throbbing.

“What is going on with jaejoong oppa?” Yoona asked

“I don’t know but it doesn’t look good” said Yoochun

MyungHee and changmin also heard the voice of their master ringing in their head as he instructed them of what to do. No matter what kind of state jaejoong is in, they will have to bring jaejoong to him at all cost. Changmin cant’ deny the fact that hearing this voice again after so many centuries caused his body to tremble. But how were they able to hear his voice? Wasn’t woojin killed long ago? Unless his consciousness still remains in each of them.

MyungHee smiled as she snapped her finger surprising Changmin

“What did you do?”

“I only did what I was told to do”

“Are you an idiot!” changmin scolded her

“He is alive Changmin oppa…he wants us to bring him Jaejoong…I can’t disobey his order…”

Without anyone noticing, Hojoon has broken free of the ropes. He dragged with him his broken sword. Even though the blade has been snapped in half, it was still enough to kill. he slowly approached the three of them from behind with a smile on his face. Yunho suddenly felt something pierced him as he looked behind him and spotted Hojoon.

“y-y-YUNHOOOO!!!!!” Yoona shouted upon noticing the broken blade has pierced through his body. Yoochun and junsu quickly grab onto Hojoon and tackled him to the ground. Hojoon suddenly started laughing like a mad man. Yunho coughed blood and Yoona grab hold of him. Jaejoong who witnessed everything was in total shock. His eyes widen from the sudden attack upon Yunho. He can’t help but wonder if it’s his fault. He made a promise to protect Jung Hee’s family and yet so far all he have done for Yunho is cause him trouble, cause him to be wounded…he has cause more trouble for Yunho rather then helping him.

“Yunho!! oh god!! Yunho! Hang in there!!!” Yoona shouted as Yoochun checked him

“We…we need to take out the sword!”

“no! You can’t! If you do yunho oppa will die!!!” she started to cry

“If we don’t take it out he will die for sure!!!” Yoochun shouted “hold on to him tightly!”

Yoona did what she was told as Yoochun grab onto the handle of the sword and with one quick pull and removed the sword as Yunho’s blood spilled onto the floor. He groans in pain and could feel his eyes starting to blur.

“Yunho!...oi Yunho!! Stay with us! Don’t you dare close your eyes!!” shouted Yoochun as he ordered Yoona to go grab some towels to stop his bleeding.

Jaejoong made movement to go toward Yunho to help when Changmin floated up and blocked his way.

“Move changmin!”

“You hear him did you not…he is calling to us…we can’t disobey his order…”

“You can’t but I can…”

Jaejoong went pass changmin but he wasn’t going to let jaejoong escape. Right now Jaejoong has lost a lot of blood and is unstable. Changmin took this chance punch jaejoong in the stomach with full strength. The last thing jaejoong saw was Yoochun, Yoona and Junsu desperately trying to save Yunho before darkness over took him. Changmin held onto jaejoong tightly feeling a bit guilty for having to do this but he had no other choice. He holds onto jaejoong as he went toward MyungHee and the others.

“Let’s go…”

“What about them?”

“Let them be…our only purpose was to obtain jaejoong…” he looks at the out cold jaejoong in his arm “we have accomplished our job…it’s time to return to master Woojin…”

Changmin walked away as MyungHee followed him. Hyori finally arrived at the apartment and quickly rushed up the flight of stairs and headed toward where the others are. She pushes open the door as she prepares herself for battle but to her surprise there were no vampires in sight. The place was a complete mess. Blood were everywhere; she can’t tell if these bloods belong to human or vampires. At this moment she spotted Yunho lying on the floor bleeding endlessly while Yoochun and the others were trying to help him. For a moment Hyori felt like her world has frozen.

“y-Yunho!!” she shouted in total shock startling the others to see Hyori there.

She quickly got onto the floor and look at Yunho. The color of his face has begun to fade. She leans down to listen to his heart beat and it was also begin to slow down.

“Oi yunho!!! Don’t you dare die on me you hear!!!” she shouted before taking out her phone and call from ambulance.

Meanwhile the other hunters have arrived back to the middle of Seoul and notice the large number of vampires gathering in the area. They quickly worked together to kill the vampires as the number begin to decrease. Yunho was rushed toward the emergency room as doctors and nurse gathered to quickly operate on him. It seems the sword as pierced one of his vital organ and caused internal bleeding. If they don’t act fast, Yunho will surely die.

“Quickly put him on the table!” the head doctor Yeji ordered as her assistance placed Yunho on the table. They cut his clothes to reveal the sword wound before they begin to operate. An oxygen mask was placed over his mouth as the machine that monitor his heart rate begin to drop.

In the meantime, Changmin and Myunghee have arrived at the abandon church where Woojin’s body lies. They paused a bit and look at each other before continuing into the church. One of the vampires moved the stone statue revealing the secret door on the ground and the stairs. The torches immediately lights on their own as changmin descended with jaejoong in his hand. Myunghee soon follow along with the other high level sires.
