Both Changmin and MyungHee join together as they attacked Jaejoong who so far has only been able to dodge and block. It’s just as he expected it to be, fighting these two together will not be easy. Changmin swing his leg toward jaejoong who manages to block but then MyungHee came up from behind him with her long nail. She attempted to slash him but he manages to dodge at the last minute. They wouldn’t give him a chance to counter attack fearing that if they do, it will be their losses. This time it’s MyungHee who attacked at the front as changmin came up from the back. Jaejoong was able to grab onto MyungHee and pulled her around as a shield against changmin. Upon seeing MyungHee, changmin stopped which was his biggest mistake. Jaejoong took this chance and pierced Changmin’s arm as blood begins to spill. In order not to suffer any more damages, changmin jumped back to give them space.

“is that all you got changmin ah?...i know you are stronger then that…” grin jaejoong

Changmin glared at him as he felt the pain in his arm throbbing from the deep wound. His blood begins to stain his shirt as MyungHee glared at jaejoong. Without waiting any longer, she dashed toward him with anger as she swings her arm. He jumped up surprising her before using her body as a liver as he jumped toward the injure changmin. His main concern isn’t MyungHee but this vampire before him. If he takes out changmin, it will be easy to take out MyungHee. Changmin rise up his arm to block the attack as the amount of force pushed him off the rooftop and through the window of the building next to them. The sound of glass breaking echoed through the night as silence filled the air.

Changmin stood up and dust the broken glass from his clothes before appearing at the window “You really aren’t holding back are you Hyung?” came changmin’s calm voice as the wound on his shoulder already completely heal.

“you stated before that you won’t hold back…so why should I…” jaejoong smiled

“then…I guess I shouldn’t hold back either” he grinned before jumping from the window back toward the other building “MyungHee…you stay out of this one…”

“What?!”

“You will only get in the way…” Changmin removed his coat

“Are you calling me weak?! This was my plan so you should stay out…”

Changmin glared at her as she stiffens from the sudden shock “f-fine…have it your way…”

Changmin turn his attention back the blonde beauty in front of him as the moonlight reflected upon his skin. Rather than fear, changmin felt overly excited to fight Jaejoong. How long has it been since they last fought like this? At the thought of inflicting pain upon jaejoong aroused changmin as he dashed from where he stood at a speed unlick other that it even surprised jaejoong. He manages to block the attack but the force pushed him back. He could feel both of his arm throbbing as cuts became visible however the cuts quickly disappear. Jaejoong was also smiling with eyes of excitement. MyungHee look at them both like two mad person who have completely lost their mind.

Meanwhile down below on the darken street, Heechul looms over Yunho with the gun in hand. He pointed it to Yunho’s head with a smile on his face. He had waited for this day to come, the day where he can take revenge for Rain. If he accomplished the task given to him by MyungHee, she will promise him a place at Woojin’s side during the blood war. All Heechul needed to do is let the demon loose. By doing that, he will have to take Yunho’s life. As much fun as he had with Yunho back then, it is nothing compare to the immortality he will received from the vampire king.

“I’ll see you in hell Yunho…” Heechul grins as his finger begin to pull back the trigger. Suddenly Yunho awoken and quickly grabbed the gun from Heechul before knocking him to the ground. Yunho turn the table on Heechul as the gun is now pointing at him.

“w-what?! h-how? I thought Jaejoong has put you to sleep?!” Heechul shouted in total shock

“You shouldn’t believe everything you see Heechul…” Yunho grin “I know you will be hiding somewhere around here waiting for a chance to get at me…is killing me really that important?”

Heechul was quiet before he started chuckling “you have no idea how much your head is worth Yunho…”

“What do you mean?”

“You don’t get it do you…you are the trigger to unleashing the demon…by killing you, I get immortality…by killing you will force the demon to return…by killing you the vampire king will come back to life…” Heechul chuckled “there is no way humanity can avoid the blood war that is coming…when that time comes…I will have my place to stand above you all…”

“You have lost it Heechul…” Yunho spoke bitterly that the partner he once trusted and care for will turn out to be a wolf in sheep clothing. While deep in thoughts, Heechul took his chance as he knocked the gun out of Yunho’s hand before standing up and punching him in the chest. Yunho felt the sudden pain but he was not going to lose to Heechul as he return the punch and his fist collided with Heechul’s right cheek.

“It’s not too late for you Heechul! Come back! We can help you!!”

“What can you do to help me huh? Did you develop a care for cancer?!” Heechul asked as he kicks Yunho who blocked him

“There has to be another way!”

“Even if there is…I will not want to return to such a weak life…I want immortality…I want strength…I want power…I want to become like the undead!” Heechul smirked

Yunho became angry as he punched Heechul before kneeing him in the stomach. Heechul cough out blood before falling to his knee from the sudden impact. Yunho stood before him and looms over him as the little hope he had left for Heechul disappear.

“You are greedy Heechul…you were willing to trade my life for something dark…you have expose Hellsing’s secret and caused many death…I’m going to bring you in to serve your punishment…”

Without any warning, Heechul quickly tackled a surprise Yunho to the ground as they begin to wrestle with one another. Heechul attempts to take the gun from Yunho while he tried his best to hold onto the gun. A second later, gunshot echoed throughout the street taking Changmin, MyungHee and Jaejoong by surprise. Heechul slowly stood up with the gun in his hand as blood stained Yunho’s shirt. He begins to laugh like a mad man.

“Looks like your human is done for…” grin Changmin

Jaejoong however show no sign of anger or shock, he remained calm and even still continue to smile “The one in trouble isn’t him…”

“How sure are you?”

“The scent of that blood…doesn’t belong to him…”

Heechul collapsed to the ground panting and pain traveled throughout his body. A bullet wound is visible on the side of his stomach as blood continues to come out. This makes it the second time Heechul was shot by the same gun. In the middle of the struggle, Yunho had twisted Heechul’s arm toward himself as the trigger was pulled. Even Yunho was surprise, he had wished not to shoot Heechul but in the end it was inevitable.

“Gave up Heechul…it’s over…” Yunho spoke softly showing sympathy toward his ex-partner who fears death and through this fear he gave up on humanity.

Heechul didn’t answer as he continues to sit on the ground. He can feel the life in him flowing out along with the blood that now covers the lower right side of his stomach. The silver gun is still in his hand; all he has to do is aim and shoot. He slowly begin to lift the gun however Yunho had the second gun pointing directly at Heechul

“I’m begging you Heechul…don’t make me kill you…” Yunho spoke in a pleading tone of voice.

“you have always been strict…always serious…people say you are hard to get along with because you give them the cold shoulder but Yunho…deep down you are too kind…” Heechul smiled

Before Yunho knew what is happening, MyungHee had appeared right behind him. Jaejoong was so distracted by changmin that he had fail to notice Myunghee’s disappearance. He tried to help Yunho but changmin blocked his way

“Where are you going? Your opponent is me?!” Changmin smirked before dashing toward Jaejoong.

Yunho was barely able to escape as he jumped away from Myunghee to create space. She was surprise at how fast Yunho’s reaction was compare to Hojoon. From how she sees it, Yunho will for sure be a more worthy opponent.

“M-MyungHee…” Heechul smiled upon her presence however she only shot him a disappointing glare as his smile faded. She turns her attention back to Yunho and looked at the anger reflected in his eyes. There wasn’t any fear in them like her other opponent. She thought for sure he will quiver at her feet but he didn’t. He remains well composed with his second gun aimed at her.

“Now I know why jaejoong is so interested in you…you are quite the handsome one aren’t you…” Myunghee Smirked

Yunho only continue to glare at her as he tried to figure out a way to beat her. As of now he is at a disadvantage because this gun and these bullets will not do anything to her. Before Yunho could fully come up with a plan, Myunghee had already disappeared from where she was standing and reappear right in front of him. Yunho manages to use his gun as a shield but the force of impact knocked him back a feet. He could fee his arm shaking from the sudden force as she dashed toward him for a second attack. Yunho aim his gun and pulled the trigger however she continues to dodge them as if it’s nothing. Her long poisonous nail missed his face by a few millimeters before jumping out of her way as he quickly regain his composer and fired his gun once again.

Jaejoong remain on the rooftop as he became a bit agitated upon the constant gunshot below. He can’t help but wonder if Yunho will be able to handle MyungHee. Usually a normal hunter will not stand a chance however knowing how capable Yunho is, he might stand a chance.

“Neh Jaejoong Hyung…I have always wondered this…what makes that human so worth you risking your life for?” Changmin asked

Jaejoong flashed Changmin a smile “I’ll only tell you if you tell me where Woojin’s body is?”

“And what do you plan to do when you find his body?”

“I’m going to destroy it of course…”

“That’s more than enough reason not to tell you…”

Jaejoong pouted “how mean…back then you use to follow me around while happily calling me Hyung”

“No I did not!” changmin shouted in embarrassment that even at this kind of situation jaejoong was still able to bring out the embarrassing past.

“Yes you did…whenever I went somewhere without you…you will throw a fit and get scolded by Rain and then you will cry all night…”

“Oi…are you doing this on purpose to pisst me off...”

“of course not…I’m only reminding you of how cute you were back then compare to now…” Jaejoong let out a sigh “oh how I wish you will be like before…listening to me without any complaint…”

“That makes it the two of us…” said changmin with a hint of sadness

Jaejoong paused as he looked at changmin as if he had just discovered something new about him. Could it be that the reason changmin wanted to help Rain was because Jaejoong was involve? Back then changmin will cling to him like a little brother. When they separated after Woojin’s defeat, Changmin was crying back then as well but Jaejoong wanted to go on his own.

“neh changmin ah…you…”

“Enough talk! I will bring you to master Woojin at all cost to fulfill my goal Hyung…even if you will end up hating me for it” glare changmin as he dashed toward Jaejoong.

While MyungHee and Yunho are fighting below, they heard a loud crash as Jaejoong was sent flying as he collided with the building across the street. The impact was strong as he created a large hole in the wall. Jaejoong cough out blood from the sudden force. However this did little to stop him as he grin and dashed back toward changmin.

“Those two sure are having fun…” thought MyungHee “however we are just wasting time…can’t you get serious changmin…don’t let your excitement get ahead of yourself and forget that we are supposed to bring Jaejoong to Woojin at all cost…”

“oi…” came Yunho’s sudden voice as MyungHee turn to face him but to her surprise Yunho is already in front of her as he pull the trigger and the bullet hit MyungHee right in the forehead as she collapsed to the ground. He begins to pant heavily wondering if the direct hit did anything. MyungHee laid on the floor motionless as blood begin to come out of the bullet wound. Heechul watched in total shock that a human was able to take down a first generation vampire which should have been impossible.

“Please stay down…please stay down…” Yunho thought to himself as he kept his gaze at MyungHee’s motionless body. Suddenly she started to laugh before sitting up with the bullet wound completely healed. Yunho grunted in anger that after all of that, it didn’t leave as much as a scratch. At this point the ability to heal has begun to annoy him deeply.

“Interesting…interesting!” MyungHee spoke with an excitement smile “this is the first time a human was ever able to come close enough for a close range shot…none the less put a bullet in me!” Her hand was shaking from excitement that she finally found a human worthy to be her opponent.

Within seconds MyungHee dashed toward Yunho dodging all of his bullets before coming up from below him and slamming him against the brick wall. The gun he was holding onto was knocked out of his hand. Yunho groaned in pain as she gripped his neck tightly.

“As a reward for doing what others wasn’t able to do…I’ll give you the one thing human desire most…immortality…strength…and power…” her eyes begin to glow.

“No thanks…I would rather die than become one of you”

His hatred only empower MyungHee’s urge to have Yunho for herself as she grin “then I’ll just do it by force…”

Yunho struggle to escape but her grip on his neck was far too tight. He wasn’t able to breathe properly as all the oxygen in his body begins to disappear. MyungHee leans closer to him as her long white fangs begin to emerge.

“!! I’m screw!!” he thought to himself “Jaejoong!”

Before MyungHee was able to bite down on Yunho, Jaejoong have appear right behind her as he pierced her flesh startling her. Blood spill out onto the street as she also coughs out blood.

“You….” she slightly turns to face him and was scared stiff. The glow in his eyes was powerful and deadly, the expression on his face reminded her of the old days. Jaejoong was about to kill her when changmin intervene. He managed to get the injure MyungHee out of Jaejoong’s grasp as he jumped back. Changmin had also sustained his own flesh wound that is slowly healing. He looks from MyungHee to Jaejoong who is staring at them like they are his true enemy. He can’t help but felt a pain in his chest being stared at this way.

“You…really have change Hyung…” Changmin spoke with a hint of bitterness

“Tell me where Woojin’s body is Changmin ah…”

Changmin pick MyungHee up in a bridal way before shaking his head “Hyung…you were like an older brother to me…all of us were once a family…You lost your family…MyungHee, Rain and I also lost our family…we were betrayed by our own kind before meeting master Woojin…through him, we were able to find a new family…we had our moment of happiness…Master woojin was able to give us back what we lost…If you think about it…he saved all of our life when we were going to face death…it’s only right for us to return the favor to him…”

Jaejoong didn’t answer as the past flashed before his eyes. He hate to admit it but there were moments of happiness being with Woojin, Rain, changmin and MyungHee. They were like a little family to heal the hatred they have in their heart. MyungHee fully recovered and wanted to fight again but Changmin refuse to let her. He knows his limits as well as hers. They can continue fighting but this isn’t going to be a simple fight that will be over right away. Not to mention that daylight will be coming soon. They can be fighting throughout the whole night and wouldn’t accomplish anything. Changmin have already known from the beginning that it will take more than this to get Jaejoong. What they need to do is rethink their plan, a plan that is flawless. At least through this changmin was able to discover something important that they can use to their advantage.

He glanced toward Yunho before turning his attention back to jaejoong “Next time we will come with everything we got…you better be ready to kill me next time hyung or you will regret it….”

With that being said, Changmin and Myunghee turn into bats and flew away. Yunho could still feel his neck throbbing as he look at Jaejoong and notice the sadden expression upon his face as he kept gaze to the sky. He can tell that a part of Jaejoong felt regret for having to fight changmin. At this moment he remembered Heechul as he turns around but once again Heechul had disappeared into the shadow. He cursed himself for he had failed to capture Heechul and get his revenge for Hojoon. All these time fighting has been for nothing since at the end, they didn’t gain anything. Just then Jaejoong collapsed to his knee totally exhausted. He had use up way to much energy fighting changmin and MyungHee. Now he barely has any energy left to stand on his own two feet.

He let out a long heavy sigh in relief that the other two decided to leave. If he had to fight them any longer this this, he will be completely defeated.

“You okay…?” Yunho asked as he approached him

“I should be asking you that” smile jaejoong as he refer to the redness of Yunho’s neck

“I’m fine…but…” Yunho look at jaejoong wondering once again why this beautiful vampire in front of him will go out of his way to protect him. Was there something special about him that is attracting this vampire?

“Just let me rest a bit…right now I can’t even stand up…” spoke Jaejoong

“but if we don’t leave now this place will draw more vampires here…”

“ah…that’s right…we should totally scram or you will be responsible for the damages to these building as well…”

Jaejoong made an attempt to stand but only collapsed again. Not only is he exhausted but he had not drunk any blood for a while. All these blood lost has begun to reawaken his thirst.

“You can go first…I’ll be fine…” he smiled

Yunho however wasn’t buying it. He went and pick up his two guns and placed them into the holster before reaching out his hand to Jaejoong.

“Come on...I’ll help you...”

Jaejoong couldn’t help but grin “what happen to not wanting a vampire to touch you? Or that you won’t rest until all vampires are gone or that all vampires are your enemy…”

Yunho blush a bit as he slightly looks away from jaejoong “t-that is still true…b-but…y-you…are different…”

Upon these words jaejoong couldn’t help but felt happy as his heart begins to race. Suddenly he felt a pain in his chest as his throat begins to dry. The urge to drink has become stronger from the scent of Yunho’s blood. He begins gasping for air and the expression of pain begin to surface. He tried his best to hide it but it wasn’t good enough. Yunho notice the trouble look on jaejoong’s face and felt like he had seen this expression before. If he remembers correctly it was when Jaejoong woke up from a month of slumber craving for blood.  In other words, right now jaejoong need bloods. He recalls all those times Jaejoong was there for him and risk his life to protect him. Even at that moment when MyungHee was going to turn him into a vampire, just by calling his name, jaejoong appear.

“I hate vampires…they have always taken everything I hold dear…I vow to kill every one of them and make this planet save for humanity once again…I train all my life to become strong …I even came to believe that I’m the best of the best however now I have been forced to accept the truth…I’m not as strong as I thought I would be…I’m not even sure if I’m able to accomplish the goals I have set for myself or fulfill the dream of those who wishes for a future without fear….”

Jaejoong look at Yunho as he continues “I really don’t know why you chose me out of all the hunters out there…I’m still trying to figure out what is it about me that makes you want to protect me…however you have your reason that you cannot tell me…I will not force you to tell me…but I did realize something...”

To jaejoong’s surprise, Yunho kneel before him as he reached over to jaejoong and gently pull his head forward until his mouth is only a inches away from Yunho’s neck.

“In order for me to accomplish my goals and dreams…I will need you…I’ll give you my blood…in return continues to fight at my side…do not leave me…do not betray me…be bond to me…”

At this moment Hojoon have finally open his eyes. The first thing he heard is the beeping of machine and the first thing he saw was the pale white ceiling. Base on the smell of the room, he figures he must be in the hospital. Just then he felt pain all over his body as he recalls the terrible and near death experience with MyungHee.

*flash back*

MyungHee threw Hojoon to the ground as he coughed blood. His body has been completely broken by her as she looms over him and has her feet upon his chest. He could feel the hell of her shoe digging into him as he groans in pain.

“Tell me where you are hiding Jaejoong Oppa?” she asked

Hojoon only mastered a smile “over my dead body…”

MyungHee press harder forcing her heel deeper into Hojoon as he groaned painfully.

“It seem you human don’t understand what you have in your grasp…do you really think you can tame him? Do you really think he will take your side? Well let me tell you something…Jaejoong oppa should never be trusted…he enjoy tricking his enemy and then slaughtering them at the end…what makes you think he will not turn around and kill you?  What if he’s just playing around with you? By the time you realize your mistake, everyone you care about will be kill…”

The image of Yunho and Hyori flashed before his eyes as MyungHee continue “if you hand him over, you will at least save the life of those close to you…”

“Heh…give we hand him over to you we will get nothing but another century long blood war…by that time many lifes would have been lost…”

MyungHee stood over him looking down at him and see no fear in his eyes. This man beneath her was ready to face death. She removed her feet from him and flipped her long black hair from the front to the back.

“I like the way your eyes reflect your desire…I’ll give you an advice…kill Jaejoong…if not…he will kill you…” her eyes glow a beautiful golden color

*End of flash back*

Hojoon sat on the bed recalling those words over and over in his head. The more he recalls it the more he begins to doubt their decision of keeping jaejoong. What if MyungHee is right? What if this whole time jaejoong is just pulling their leg waiting for the right moment to strike them? if this is the case then he will have to be a step ahead of him.

Changmin forced MyungHee into their hide out as she continues to shout at him.

“Why did you stop me?!! I could have taken him on!” she snapped

“If I let you fight, you will most likely turn into ash…”

“What?! Are you calling me weak?”

Changmin sigh before sitting down on the couch and relax his body “the sun will be rising soon...you will get carry away and die…”

MyungHee stopped as she turn her attention to the window and notice the little lights peeking out from behind the mountain.

“At the end we didn’t capture Jaejoong…it was a waste of time…I even told myself I wouldn’t do anything and yet I got forced into a fight…” said changmin “we need a new plan if we want to capture Jaejoong…” an image of Jaejoong’s agitated expression flashed before his eyes. From the look of it Jaejoong’s affection toward Yunho is deeper then he though. Instead of targeting Jaejoong, they should shift it to Yunho. If they can get Yunho and use him to get to Jaejoong, it will be a lot easier.

“I have already started my second plan…” smile MyungHee

Changmin turn to face her wondering how many plans did she put into action

“What did you do?” he asked

Myunghee only smiled as the image of Hojoon flashed before her eyes. Hyori appraoched Hojoon's room as she turn on the light only to be started by the fact that he's awake.

"Hojoon?!" She shouted in happiness that he pulled through

Upon his name, Hojoon turn to face Hyori and smile however she notice something strange. The look in his eyes is different.
