HARA'S POV

I can hear them. But i refuse to open my eyes. 

I know I lost the baby. And I know that I am not ready to accept the bitter truth. I wasn't able to protect my child. I am a very irresponsible mother. My baby got nothing to do with my issue with Kiko. And yet, her life just got taken away.

I am mad at her. But getting mad at her won't solve anything.

I don't want to be a killer like her. I know for a fact that hating someone so much could lead to evil. Just like how my unborn angel died. 

Forgiveness is still early. I do not think I can forget the pain of losing a child. I am pathetic. I am a loser. I should be the one dead. 

I felt my warm tears flowed out of my closed eyes. A soft sob escaped my lips.

"Hara.."

I heard my brother's soft voice. And I sobbed even harder. 

I felt my mother's warm embrace.

It made me felt guilty and extremely sad. How I wish I could protect my child just like how my mother always protects me.

"It's all my fault eomma.. I killed my child.." I said in between tears.

My brother is keeping his silence. But I can feel his warmth from afar.

"I am so sorry eomma.." I wailed. 

I know that no matter how hard and loud I cry, nothing will ever change. My child is still dead. 

My mother my back trying to calm me down. I cried and cried and cried for I don't know how long.

I just let all my emotions out. The pain in my heart is so strong. As if I am being pierced my thousands of sharp needles.

I cried until my eyes run dry. Until i can feel nothing.

"Princess, listen to oppa. This is not your fault. You didn't know that this could happen. Oppa is already taking care of everything. We will make sure everyone that's got to do with this will pay." His soothing words assured me.

"Baby, please do not worry too much. Your baby is now in good hands. You did your best as a mother. But maybe it is not the right time." My mom said as she handed me a glass of water.

"What about Jiyong oppa?" I suddenly remembered. I don't see him anywhere.

"I didn't permit him to be here." Yunho oppa said sternly.

"Oppa it is not his fault. I am sure he is also hurting like me." I said weakly.

"Yunho. Please do not fight with here. Call Jiyong and inform him that Hara is already awake." My mom told him.

"Eomma.." He refused.

My mother called from here phone.

"Oppa.. I know you want to protect me. Don't worry, I know what to do." I said to him softly.

"What do you mean Hara?" He asked.

"Jiyong oppa, he needs me now. We need each other in order to survive this. But.." 

"What?" He asked uncertainly.

I looked at him in the eyes.

"I know for a fact that we will never work out. We are only ruining each other. We need to heal separately. I need to go my own way." I said in a trembling voice.

"Hara.."

"Being with him will remind me of Kiko. And remembering Kiko will remind me of my dead child. I won't be able to move on of I stick with him without separating." I said in tears.

"I know that this decision will be the best for both of us. It may be difficult. He may find someone else new along the way. And I might too. But if in the end we are really for each other." 

"Then, we can make it through." I said with finality.

"So let me see him oppa. Allow us to cry with each other. To feel each other's pain. We need it before we can move on. We need to have closure." I added.

He hugged me tight.

And once again I sobbed.

For a lost life.

And a lost love.
