Fire
Dauntless‘2:55:01’
It had been 5 minutes since Hansol and Hyuk had left, and Taeyong’s mind was racing with escape plans. Plans that were all ultimately useless, especially when they all required Taeyong to save the boys. Taeyong who, at the moment, couldn’t even feel anything besides the painful pounding of his heart against his rib cage.
Taeyong, so utterly exhausted, prayed for a way out of this situation. Sweat trickling bit by bit down his forehead, he bit his lip and clenched his eyes tightly as he heard Baekhyun’s cry. It wasn’t just him who was crying, but Tao as well and Taeyong didn’t even want to look at the others, fearful of the haunted expressions he would find on their faces.

Taeyong needed to save them, he had to. He had already watched his own brother disappear from his sight, and he wouldn’t, no matter what, let the members disappear into nothing as well. If he did, he didn’t think he would ever be able to forgive himself. Taeyong pulled himself up into a standing position, screaming out as he did so, as he felt thousands of needles pierce into his body. Crashing back to the floor, Taeyong tried to breathe as his mind finally caught onto what exactly Hyuk had done to him.
‘Ethroaycin, a drug, once injected, can cause the worst kind of pain imaginable. Known for tripling Beta endrophin, a hormone in charge of releasing pain from the brain, it was absolutely lethal.’
“Taeyong, yah! Stand up, w-what’s wrong with you?!?” Taeyong looked up from his sprawled position on the concrete floor of the warehouse as he stared into the desperate eyes of Chen. The same Chen who had comforted him the same way his mother used to, that Chen who had made him feel at peace in the shortest period of time at the Han River.
