Realizations
DauntlessEyes fluttering in shock, Taeyong could only stare as Hansol harshly grabbed at him, "The s-song, Taeyoung, the song. W-where did you get it?!" Hansol desperately asked, hands tightly clasped around the other's collar as he did.
But Taeyong wasn't listening....he wasn't able to. Not when he was suddenly so close to the other, faces just centimeters apart. Eyes trailing across the other as he felt the heavy and uneven breaths of Hansol brushing against his very own,Taeyong stopped to take in the once familiar lashes and emotionally scarred eyes. Eyes that were oh so similar to his, before his own eyes fell upon a slightly red birthmark on the side of Hansol's neck, covered slightly by his brown hair.
Taeyong drew in a deep breath as it suddenly hit him.
He saw that birthmark before.
He had the same one.
Silenced in disbelief, Taeyong's own hand trailed across his same birthmark. Clasping his hand around his own neck, he looked into the eyes of the other, eyes that took him back to years and years ago when he last saw those same desperate and hopeless eyes.
Those desperate eyes that begged for Taeyong to save him from 3 Blazes.
Almost immediately, his mood had dropped.
Taeyong's eyes closed as he began sinking into the dark memories of their history. Hearing the faint sounds of a gun being shot, Taeyoung could only slightly tremble as he remembered the night he lost his brother. Looking back into Hansol's eyes, he saw his own reflection, lost and teary just as he had been years ago when his brother had been taken away from him, blood dripping from his wounds as he was taken away.
Taeyong fought to get his breath under control as he heard the cries of his brother and the sound of the gun from years ago echo against his own head repeatedly. Groaning in pain, Taeyong brought a hand to his head as five-year-old Hansol screamed for him, "Taeyoung!"
Taeyong could barely decipher Hansol as he shook him, repeatedly asking him where he got the song from over and over again.
'But why would he care about the song?' Taeyong bitterly asked himself, 'The only one who would give a about it now would be my twin.'
'My twin..only my twin would-'
Taeyong suddenly collapsed to the floor as he finally realized the reality of the situation.
Hand clasped around his own heart, Taeyong looked again into the dark eyes of Hansol from his spot on the floor as thousands and thousands of memories continued to rush through his head. It all suddenly made sense, all his suspicions fell into place, and Taeyong could only tighten his hand, drawing blood as he did, as he questioned himself over and over again. How had he not realized it before?! How.....had he not realized that the boy before him, with eyes so similar to his own, was his b-brother, his twin whom he had been searching for years?! Taeyong couldn't help the tear that ran down his face, as his hand rose to the other, not to push Hansol off himself, but to make sure he wasn't just a phantom of his own imagination. He slightly and slowly raised his hand to cup the others cheek before his fingers trailed down to
