When Woozi finds out Wonwoo likes the same girl as him, Adlin, and chooses friendship over love, and then regrets it.*

        The trio went to their secret hide out in the woods, bringing along the rest of the gang for the first time. Not many people knew about it, so letting more people in was a start.

         “So,” Adlin started, pushing away the branches that kept the house hidden, “This is it.” She proudly pointed and smiled at their artwork.

          “And you built all of it?” Seokmin pointed out curiously as he stepped closer.

          “Yeah, since we were all neighbors,” Woozi moved his hand gesturing between himself, Wonwoo, and Adlin, “we built this by ourselves.”

          “Sweet!” The maknae yelled as he ran to see what it looked like on the inside. Quickly after, the boys piled inside the tiny home and suddenly the forest was filled with their admiring compliments and coos.

        The trio stayed back and headed to the back of the house that held a tire swing and pond. Adlin settled herself on the little contraption and rocked herself back and forth. It had been quite a while since they had come there and it was quite refreshing. The sun’s rays seeped through the small gaps in the leaves and left little kisses on her face as she swayed back and forth.

        Woozi had looked at her with admiration as he fumbled with a flat rock that he found. It weaved itself through his fingers leaving traces of dirt, “Hyung!” He looked to his side and saw Wonwoo skipping stones, “Did you find one, yet?”

        He snapped out of his trance and pushed himself off of the tree. Showing Wonwoo the rock he shook it by his face, “Yea, it’s a beauty.” He threw it and squinted his eyes as it flew across the water.

        “You know who else is a beauty?” Wonwoo spoke casually. Woozi froze and his eyes slowly drifted to his best friend.

        He swallowed hard and already knew the answer, but he asked anyways, “Who?”

        “Adlin,” It was a simple answer; Wonwoo’s lips formed a soft smile just at the thought of the girl. Woozi’s breath hitched and suddenly his hands formed a fist, but unclenched because this was his best friend he was talking to. He could basically sense his emotions.

        “Pft,” Woozi forces as fake gag, “pretty for fish.” They glance over at the girl who was now knee deep in the water, trying to catch the small water-dwelling creatures that swim past her limbs.

        Wonwoo smiles under his nose, and pushes him a bit. In all seriousness though, he calms down and places his hands in deep in his pockets, “Should I tell her?”

        “Tell her what?” Did he even want to know?

        “That I like her.”

        Woozi gulps and scratches his throat, noticing how dry mouth is, “Uh,” He was speechless because how could anyone give advice to someone on how to ask out the girl of your dreams? The silence was too long for Wonwoo’s liking and he nudged the older boy. Woozi stabilized and thought somethin
