Soojung POV

I don't know why I replied those words to Myungsoo. It's not that I don't mean it. Wait, so I mean it? Do I really love him? Aish, things are beginning to make me confused. I promised Mark that I'll wait for him. But I promised Myungsoo I wouldn't leave him. Which promise will I keep and which one will I break?

"Good morning." Myungsoo greeted me.

"Good morning. Did you sleep well?" I asked and he nodded.

"I won't go to school today. I can't show them this face." He said referring to his still bruised face.

"Arasseo. Rest here. We'll be here by lunch. Will you be fine here alone?"

"I'm used to being alone." He said jokingly but I knew it was true. "But I'll be waiting for you."

"It's still early, Mr. Jerk. Stop being emotional." He laughed.

"Last night, I meant what I said." 

"I know, Kim Myungsoo. Now let's eat before this gets cold."

We ate together and I bade him goodbye. As I was near the school campus, a car stopped infront of me.

"It's been two months since you last heard from me, Jung Soojung." Jiyeon said as her driver opened the car door and told me to go in. I went inside the car.

"Is there something you need, Jiyeon-sshi?"

"I know about the reason Mark Tuan left for Japan. He likes you, doesn't he?" She said with a laugh. "What a lucky girl...So here's my final instruction, once Mark Tuan comes back from Japan, break up with Myungsoo." I did not see this coming. "As for your debts, they're already paid."

"What if I don't do it, Jiyeon? My debts are paid anyways."

"You know how bad I could get Soojung. Don't test me." She said with that creepy smile on her face.

"Fine. But why do you have to wait till Mark comes back?"

"It will hurt him more. Despite the fact that he's arranged to marry me, I'd have to have my revenge for the humiliation I suffered. That makes us equal." Did I hear it correctly? He's arranged to marry Jiyeon?

"Mwo? Marry?"
