The funny thing is that a few days ago I was avoiding JinKi and now here I am sitting next to him with his group’s other members, chatting away. Well, I thought that the more I avoid him, the more weird things happen between us like the ever so smooth and hot surprising kiss, plus he gave me this insight that after 2 weeks he won’t be my student anymore! This was the constraint that inspired me to avert him but with this constraint gone I thought I would listen to my heart, a heart that wants to know JinKi.

 So here I am with him, both of us trying to get to know each other.

The party was still young and it looked that the people had no intention of heading back home early. So I got cosy in my seat. After all the exchange of information between us 6, I got to know that Taemin had become a celebrity by the age of 16, Jjong left school to become a celeb, jinki was a bit fat earlier, Minho wanted to be a soccer player initially and that Key is the Diva of the century and is the fashion dictionary of the whole group! I must say, I felt real comfortable with them. They were not those greasy celebrities with the big ME but were real people! They had problems like us common people, sickness, pile of assignments, dating problems, moms trying to be overprotective, friend fights etc. They seemed so normal up close, I mean ignoring their looks where they looked like angels, that after the half an hour of chatting I couldn’t look at them as these Korean celebrities but as a bunch of boys struggling in their 20s. They seemed like friends, I guess we are friends now …

After a while Luna came up to our table, “Shouldn’t you be sitting with the other professors, isn’t over fraternizing with the students a wrong thing!”

Before I could answer, JinKi stated that we were not in the university campus and that I am their friend. As JinKi said friend at the same moment Jjong asked me my number and JinKi followed. I gave them my number and looked at Luna. She said something in Korean which I couldn’t understand but her facial expression suggested that she was annoyed at my presence among these 5 boys. The last thing I needed was some girl fight for they never end well.

Key took me to the dance floor and I had to oblige for I have experienced it for myself that nobody can win against Key. I danced a bit, actually it was fun. It had been ages since I had been myself and not the uptight girl. I don’t know what got into me but the next thing I knew was that I and Key were heating up the dance floor and seeing us; all of SHINee joined in with also some of the other students. I was having real fun. “I haven’t danced like that in ages! I miss being me!” I shouted into JinKi’s ear, who was now my dancing partner. He looked so handsome and gorgeous at the same time, but at this moment my heart didn’t burst out beating, there was this wonderful feeling, a feeling of content that ya, this guy will not disappear, he is a friend so I have a lot of time to know him, he is not going to be some unknown mystery but a part of my present and hopefully future too.

I danced till my feet hurt and sat at the bar. Luna sat next to me. I had this gut feeling that she probably has a crush on some member of Shinee and deep down I hoped that her crush wouldn’t be JinKi.

“I hope you are not going close to SHINee to get your share of fame. You’ve recently come to this country, and maybe you are looking for a quick way to get close to Shinee, know them and probably share some of the secrets with the tabloids for materialistic gain or maybe you want to be the girlfriend so that you can live easy in Seoul…!!!!” Before she could define me as a probable blackmailer, I said “Whoa, slow it down Luna. I’m just trying to make friends in pure honesty, no negative intentions here. And I am living quite comfortably in Seoul thank you! Where do you get horrendous ideas, seriously girl, do you have trusting issues?”

“I had a friend like that who took advantage of my position and it was a big mess. Just because you denied it doesn’t mean I trust you. I hope you know that SHINee and F(x) belong to the same company and I shall be keeping a close watch on you.” Saying this Luna left the bar with I must say a rather ‘I will kill you if you hurt them’ expression. But that thought didn’t linger much in my brain for Luna’s place had been taken by JinKi. The next half an hour or so we spent talking about the performance, his performance to be precise, the dance, the gossip, in short it was today’s summary.

Finally it was time to go. According to my plan earlier I had decided to hail a cab home but now the guys offered to drop me for I was their extended neighbour. It was only when everyone else had left that I got into their vanity van type vehicle, for I didn’t want anyone to raise their eyebrows on me getting a favour from not one but 5 hot celebrities.

As soon as the van started Aansha dozed off….. I guess it had been a long eventful day for her.
