The following day, Jaejoong had told you to meet him at the cafe once again.

 

 

Knowing that what He had to say must be important, you agreed and met up with him.

 

 

"-Your Name-. Do you recall those pictures sent Hyung Joong's parents?" Jaejoong asks, carefully.

 

"Yeah." You respond.

 

 

 

" It was Cho-Hee after all." Jaejoong confirms And You let out a sigh.

 

"She admitted it?" You ask.

 

"I went to her house yesterday to clarify my decision." Jaejoong informed.

 

"Your decision?" You ask, tilting your head slightly to the side.

 

Jaejoong chuckles lightly.

 

"I told her that I won't support any of her schemes. I will take your side."  Jaejoong explained.

 

"Ah. Really?" You ask, relieved. 

Jaejoong has been helping you out many times. You felt as you could trust him now.

 

"Have you talked to Hyun Joong?" Jaejoong asked, a bit unwillingly.

 

"No...Well.." You begin to say

"He came over last night."

 

"Why?" Jaejoong asked, annoyed.

 

"I don't know. He seemed... Concerned. As though he thought there was something wrong." You reply.

 

"Did he have a purpose for going?" Jaejoong asks, jealousy slowly seeping out.

 

You look at Jaejoong carefully.

 

"He asked why I wasn't answering my phone. Other than that he apologized for what he said a few days ago." You inform.

 

Jaejoong ponders thoughtfully for a moment then

 

 looks straight at you, his eyes emotionless.

 

"Think about it. Hyun Joong doesn't remember anything, yet knew the route to your house like the back of his hand." Jaejoong commented.

 

You realized that as soon as Hyun Joong left yesterday.

 

Could it possibly be that he really is starting to remember?

 

"I can only hope that he will remember soon." You say. 

 

You quietly take a sip of your beverage.

 

Suddenly, Concern filled Jaejoong's eyes.

 

You notice that he was staring at something over your shoulder.

 

"What is it?" You ask, curious.

 

His eyes flickered back to you.

He cleared his thoat and smiled slightly.

 

"It's nothing." He assured.

 

"If you say so..." You respond.

 

You noticed  Jaejoong becoming rigid and uncomfortable, As if asking himself if he should tell you something.

 

His eyes once again glanced over your shoulder.

 

You finally, out of curiousity, you turn  and follow Jaejoong's gaze.

 

You realize that was a mistake.

 

 

Sitting some tables down, was Hyun Joong and Cho-Hee.

 

Both were in deep conversation. 

 

Smiling widely at each other.

 

Your heart began to ache.

 

"-Your Name-..." Jaejoong calls out softly.

 

Even with this aching in your heart, you weren't able to look away, Making the pain more unbearable.

 

You noticed Cho-Hee's hand reach out to touch his.

Hyun Joong hesitated, Unsure of what to do.

 

He suddenly intwined his hand with hers. A small smile on his face. Responding to that, Cho-Hee lays her head on his shoulder.

 

Your heart throbbed. 

You needed to get out of there and fast.

 

You stood up and quickly headed out the door.

 

"-Your Name-" You heard Jaejoong call out.

 

But you couldn't stop.

You just needed to get away from there.

 

Jaejoong got up as well, worried.

 

He glared at Hyun Joong and Cho-Hee, who were now startled by what happened.Hyun Joong glances at Jaejoong, Confusion swept through his face.

 

Jaejoong just shook his head then rushed after you.

Your mind was blank.

You had no idea why you darted off like that.

 

"Urgh. I'm so stupid." You say, realizing you caused a scene.

 

There was no doubt that Hyun Joong and Cho-Hee noticed you. 

 

"Yes. You are." A voice teased.

 

You turn and notice Jaejoong behind you.

 

He grinned.

 

"Sorry. I didn't mean to run off like that." You apologize.

 

"It's okay. I would of done the same." Jaejoong responds. 

 

The scene of Hyun Joong and Cho-Hee kept replaying itself in your head.

 

"So what are going to do?" Jaejoong asks, concerned.

 

"There's nothing that can be done." You respond, a sad smile on your face.

 

"What?" He asks, shocked by your statement.

 

You take a deep breath.

 

"It's his life. It's usless to interfere. If he's set on his decision, there's no point on changing it." You say, emotionless.

 

" What are saying?" Jaejoong asks, annoyed.

 

"I'm saying that if Hyun Joong finds happiness with Cho-Hee, then I should just accept it." You say.

 

"So your giving up on him?" Jaejoong asks, iritated.

 

You don't respond.

 

Truth was.... Those words that you had said were only to convince you to let Hyun Joong be.

But it didn't work.

You love towards him was overwhelming.

You couldn't even think of giving up on him.

Being apart from him would only make things worse.

 

"Are you not even going to wait till he recovers his memories?" Jaejoong asks, displeased.

 

"Jaejoong...." You begin to say.

 

"You're giving up on him just because of what you saw today?" Jaejoong asks, irritated.

 

"Jaejoong. I-" You attempt to say again.

 

"-Your Name-. I also have someone who I love. Someone who won't even realize it...But I was never able to confess.

She ends up falling desperately for someone else.

Even so, my feelings for her still don't disappear, they just keep growing.  I've been hoping that one day she'll realize my feelings for her. Even if she doesn't feel the same, I still value all the moments I share with her. Seeing you like this makes me feel like I shouldn't have bothered. You giving making up, makes me feel as if I should give up as well. Like you said... What's the point if nothing can be done, right?" Jaejoong states coldly.

 

You are taken back.

 

He stared at you coldly, but you could tell he was hurt.

 

His words made you realize even more that you couldn't give up. You wouldn't.

 

"Jaejoong... I'm not giving up in him." You assure softly.

 

His eyes softened.

 

"You aren't?" He asks.

 

You smile slightly.

 

"Those words I said, were only to convince me that I should let go. But I realized, Hyun Joong means a lot to me. I already promised I wouldn't give up on him." You reply.

 

You hit Jaejoong's shoulder playfully.

 

"You shouldn't  give up either." You say with a grin.

 

Jaejoong smiles gently but sighs. 

"-Your name-... If only you would realize why I'm doing this for you." He thinks to himslef.

Hyun Joong had dropped Cho-Hee off at her house and was on his way back.

 

Once he arrived, he noticed a silver convertible parked out front.

 

He got out of car and headed toward the front door.

 

Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed a shadowy figure.

He got a better a view of the person as the figure approached him.

 

That person was Jaejoong.

 His face was emotionless. Clearly upset from what happened.

 

" Are you busy?" Jaejoong asks, hard.

 

"Why?" Hyun Joong responds, carefully.

 

"I need to talk to you." Jaejoong replies, coldly.

 

Hyun Joong narrows his eyes.

 

"Alright." He agrees.
