Krystal kept stirring on her seat in the airplane. She was already on her way to London and her sister decided to go along with her. She turned the other way and still couldn’t find a place to settle in.

“Stop moving around” Her sister then warned as if she’s ready to hit the younger girl if she moves another limb. Jessica doesn’t have anything against her sister she just dislikes being woken up from her sleep.

“Sorry” her sister muttered an apology.

Krystal then tried to close her eyes, if it could try to help her to get some rest. But all she could see was the timekeeper. Earlier when she was on her way to the surgical room to find her patient. She was stopped by the timekeeper.

Her steps were rapid, running to find her patient, but then suddenly out of nowhere Yiyun showed up in front of her. Before she could even notice, she had already fell down on top of the timekeeper with their lips crashing with each other. Her eyes widened in surprise and she shrieked and got off on top of the short haired girl. Yiyun quickly tried to calm her down to stop her from grabbing everyone’s attention and took her somewhere away from everyone.

“Get your hands off me” Krystal swatted the short haired girl away

“My lips” she said in disgust, wiping away all the “germs” from the timekeeper

“How dare you?!” Krystal continued. They were back at the rooftop where they just have recently met each other earlier. The night breeze made the younger girl shiver and the timekeeper noticed. Yiyun then took her leather jacket off and covered the younger girl with it.

“Why would you apparate in front of me?” Krystal covered her lips when the timekeeper leaned in to drape the jacket on her shoulder's. Still a bit mad on the timekeeper but was also taken aback at the sudden kindness shown.

“I didn’t mean to” Yiyun reasoned with her

“What do you want?” Krystal asked curiously

“I need to ask you a favor”

“What is it?” Krystal then frowned, thinking that’s the only reason why the timekeeper was being nice to her was because she needed something.

“I need you to take care of my brother” the short haired girl then said carefully

“Jessica can do it for you” Krystal answered back and rolled her eyes “I thought you weren’t allowed to meddle”

“I know but if what you said earlier was true then I must...or you can, save him before he dies and I wont be stuck in this perpetual limbo” Yiyun explained “There are consequences to each actions and if things go differently now. Maybe...I could be out of your life sooner”

Krystal’s eyes glinted at the idea then as always grabbed the mere chance of getting rid of the timekeeper and decided to agree with it. But what bothers her the most now was the kiss not about the part of taking care of the timekeeper's younger brother.

That quick kiss she thought, she then slumped her back deeper in her chair. She couldn’t put her finger to it, whether she should feel guilty because the timekeeper was her sister’s girlfriend or because she’s with Tom, well not officially yet.

The distant thuds and bangs from his pocket made him took out the locket, it tells him that someone is going to die soon. Then, without warning, all the lamps went out and they were plunged into total darkness.

The reaper was slowly transforming into a cloaked figure, a dark cloud covered his body. His face was completely hidden beneath his hood. The reaper’s hand was protruding from the cloak and it was glistening, grayish, slimy-looking, and scabbed, like something dead that had decayed in water. He was turning to his true form, he then lent out his hand to the illuminated ball of flame.

He disapparated, his whole body was engulfed by the flame and on a quick split second he was visible once again. He was on top of a building, viewing the beautiful night lights of the city. And then the reaper, drew a long, slow, rattling breath, as though it were trying to something more than air from its surroundings.

An intense cold swept over the whole building, A certain tenant started to shiver feeling something bad was going to happen soon. The cold went deeper to his skin. It was inside his chest, it was inside his very heart.

He couldn't see. He was drowning in cold. There was a rushing in his ears as though of water. He was being dragged downward, the roaring growing louder. And then, from far away, he heard screaming, terrible, terrified, scream of his mother.

A memory that was instilled in his memory clearly.

“Krystal, I wanted to tell you this before you meet Jeno” Jessica cleared , they were already on a cab heading to where Jeno was staying, Krystal then transferred her attention to her older sister from her phone, she was busily texting Tom, telling him that she arrived safely.

“What is it, Jess?”

“Don’t be surprised if you see him, alright?”

“O-okay?” Krystal furrowed, not understanding what her sister is trying to say

“Don’t stare at him, he doesn’t like it” Jessica then warns her

“What? Why?”

“Jeno’s blind” Jessica then answered
