Kwon Yuri, which she is formally known to everyone have grown up in London and descended to a family of doctors and had an obvious path, cleared down by her parents to take on medicine. She would go and play music in a pub with her best friend, joining a local band to piss her parents off. However, even though she never quite like it, the blood disgusts her and creates a turmoil on her insides. It all changed when she met Jessica Jung.

One day, their class received an exchange student, she had this long blonde hair. Yuri heard rumours about the student was going to be someone from Korea and she was surprised to see someone with blonde hair. A cold icy glare was what the brunette first received when she tried to greet the new girl.

It was then later on that they became close to each other, all the late night shifts of being an intern at St. George, midnight reviewing together, and also each other’s partner on each school project. It took no time for the two to know more of each other. Yuri started to get interested in medicine for the sole reason of watching Jessica do what she wanted the most.

Then the exams came and Yuri wanted to take out the other on a break from studying since Jessica locked herself in her room for days now. Maybe she hasn’t seen the sunlight for how long now, a good breather is what she needed the most Yuri thought and she then smiled victoriously when she came up with the idea to have a reason to spend a night out with the blonde haired girl. She then happily dragged Jessica out of her dorm towards the pub, where her best friend works and maybe she can introduce her to her best friend, the girl she had been head over heels for awhile now.

“Stop telling me this squishy fluffy stuff” the short haired girl muttered while pouring another shot of tequila for her

“Ugh” Yuri groaned. She had been telling Yiyun the things she liked about Jessica and her plans on telling the latter of her feelings.

“You better introduce that girl to me and let me be the judge of that or whether she’s worth all your time” Yiyun continued “What kind of a best friend will I be if I just let you pull that trigger right away. You even have been skipping band practice just to spend have a study date with that girl. Tsk, tsk.”

“I will, I will” Yuri finally said and the other then cheered and the two drank their shots together.

When Yuri and Jessica was on their way towards the pub they saw another group of students from their class and they joined the group in the pub. The brunette could see the light glimmering at Jessica’s eyes when they were finally walked inside the pub, she couldn’t help but smile and thought that she did well on taking the girl out of her cave. When Yuri then turned around the stage she could see Yiyun singing on the stage, she then yelled loudly to cheer her friend before heading towards an empty booth along with the others.

Yuri then sat beside Jessica, she couldn’t help but notice how Jessica kept staring at her best friend. But the rather quick thought faded when Jessica poured her attention into drinking some more drinks until the thought resurfaced when Yiyun went to their booth to join them. Yiyun wasn’t a stranger to the others in the group, they had been going to the pub for awhile now and it was Jessica and a few others that were new to their group or so they thought.

“Here she comes” Yuri nudge on Charlie, it was like their inside joke to introduce Yiyun this way to the newcomers in their group.

“I want you to meet, Yiyun. But be careful ladies, she’s quite the charmer” Charlie warned his friends.

Yuri tried to muffle her laughter but then failed when Yiyun put Charlie on a headlock. Her attention shifted when Jessica suddenly stood up from her seat and wanting to leave the place, she stopped laughing and begged the girl to stay and pulling Jessica back to her seat.

Yuri wished she hadn’t done so since that was when she found out that the “erted mental woman” that Jessica had kept on mentioning to her was her very own best friend and the girl that Yiyun had mentioned before that she kissed was Jessica. Yuri kept on chugging a beer, not wanting to see the scene while sober, when her best friend and the girl she loves have been exchanging this longing look with each other, and when the other moves so does the other. Before she knew it, she was already drunk and on her way home in a cab full of drunk mates while Jessica was left behind with Yiyun.

The brunette could feel her heart being torn apart when she saw Yiyun confessed her love for the blonde before she did. Yuri was standing at the corner when she saw Yiyun and Jessica standing in front of each other. She walked closely to hear what they were talking.

“I like you” Yiyun said bluntly

“So? What do you want me to do with that?” Jessica replied a smirk was forming on her face

“It’s a warning” Yiyun then stepped an inch closer, leaning towards the blonde haired girl. Yuri then turned around not wanting to see the scene of her best friend kissing the girl she adored.

“Oh Yuri” Jessica called on to the brunette when she was starting to walk away which made her stop from her tracks.

“Well, there’s no point on introducing the intern that I liked wasn’t there” Yiyun chuckled “Wait, you kissed me back does that mean-”

“Yes, I like you too” Jessica pushed the short haired girl. Yiyun then happily yelled and ran towards Yuri and hugged her. "She said yes, she said yes!!"

“I’m happy for you too” Yuri smiled bitterly “But there are still some patients waiting for Jessica” Yuri broke the hug and quickly walked away from the two, her tears kept on falling.

Yuri blamed herself, How could I be this blind? I knew what was coming. All those visits she did in the pub and Yiyun coming in the hospital just see the other. She quickly dried off her tears when she finally realized that Jessica was trailing behind her.

“Congrats” She muttered and the blonde curled her arms around the neck of the other.

"Thanks" Jessica smiled happily

Yuri had bolted towards the older girl and put her on a tight hug. She could feel time fade away when the girl she loves was in her arms. Jessica’s eyes just widened in surprise at the sudden contact. Yuri then slowly let Jessica off her while her eyes continued to dart on the other, examining each of her features closely and longingly. Krystal was also surprise at the sudden intrusion of the brunette and Krystal then cleared to save her sister from the grasp of the other.

“Oh” Yuri scratched the back of her head “Where’s Yiyun?” She finally asked the obvious question and looked around the room. Jessica then dragged her towards a separate room to tell her what happened. Jessica did not want to let Jeno hear what happened to her sister again and again.

It pained her knowing Yiyun had died in accident like how Jeno's parents did also. She knew Yiyun has a plan on proposing to Jessica once she gets to Korea and prepared herself to the excruciating escalation of the relationship of the two but not this. It was never this. It was fine with her, not really, when the two was in a relationship but losing her best friend and having the girl she loves cry in pain was not what she wanted either.

“Yuri, we decided to take care of Jeno and the offer still stays if you want to come with us in Korea”

ummm.....yeah.....well....you....see....i tried to make it yulber and you know it didn't really work and i had to change it all over again. But no worries it makes the plot even better :D
