“Where are you going?” Jessica yelled at her sister when Krystal quickly got up from her seat and ran out of the door.

Krystal ran at a quick and steady pace. Her rapid steps were echoing through the walls of the hospital. She stops and turn her head. She was looking for someone. At every corner of the hospital. Where are you? Where are you? Her mind keep saying

Jessica just told her about the timekeeper’s younger brother, Jeno.

“She’s the only family he has” Jessica told her

“What happened to their parents?” asked Krystal

“They got into an accident. A drunk driver hit their car” Krystal was surprised at the new information

Flashback

Jessica was put into a horror state when Yiyun suddenly surprised her. The short haired girl then quickly gave her girlfriend a chaste kiss on the lips as a greeting.

“You called?” Yiyun just arrived at the hospital where Jessica was working at

“Are you alright?” The short haired girl then frowned when Jessica still haven’t said anything yet along with her worried look. “Did I scare you that much?” She teased

“I-I don’t know how to say this” the doctor stuttered. She then took a deep breath before continuing

“Awhile ago your parents and Jeno got into an accident” She quivered. Yiyun turned stone cold at the given information

“Where are they?” She quickly asked

“Yiyun, wait” She trembled “Your family’s car hit on a truck that was carrying metal rods and it fell right through your car”

“What are you trying to say?” Yiyun roared, her eyes were full of fear

“When the paramedics arrived at the site, your parents died on excessive bleeding. Fortunately, right now, Jeno is put on a quick surgery”

“Is he alright? Take me to him” Jessica quickly held to her girlfriend’s hand and intertwined them to each other as she led the tomboy through the surgical room. All that Yiyun could hear was her fastened steps through the abyss of despair.

Jessica held her closely, her arms wrapped around protectively, caging Yiyun from the bloodcurdling screams and shrieks of pain and agony. Chaos muffled over her mind, she couldn’t breathe. Sharp icicles darted into her spines and sent her shivering with raw anguish. When she saw her little brother injured and unconscious, lying at the hospital bed.

“What’s gonna happen to her brother?” Krystal quickly asked her sister

“Tom and I are going to take care of him. We’ll take turns on watching over him if we can”

“Are you going to tell him?”

“It might kill him, Krys” Jessica answered back “The kid tried to kill himself after getting out of the hospital and now, it may get worse”

“Krys, Dr. Song is look-” Kyungsoo said but was pushed off by Krystal “Ouch!” he groaned

“Sorry” She quickly apologized to him before running away

People started to crowd over the hallway making it harder for Krystal to run pass by. She squeezed herself through the way and hastily went to the emergency exit. She then quickly jogged up to the stairs, flying over a few flights to skip.

“Show yourself!” She screamed on top of her lungs “Yiyun! Timekeeper!”

Cold sweat trickled down her forehead. She inhaled as much air as she could. A thought quickly struck her. She then quickly took out her necklace and looked at the tiny sparkling hour glass.

She gave it three turns and said the timekeeper’s name. A few seconds after the timekeeper suddenly showed up, formed by a thick white cloud.

“Didn’t I told you to only use this in emergencies” Yiyun said to her with annoyance

“I think I know why you're here” Krystal then said
