The rest of the car ride became silent when we decided not to say anything else. I stopped the car in front of her apartment before we entered the building and went in front of her door.  After Chanyeol rang the doorbell, we waited a couple of seconds and received no response. Chanyeol tried again, but yet the door remained closed.

“She’s probably not at home then.”

“Why doesn’t he just leave the useless girl instead of having the trouble of bringing her back home?”

I rolled my eyes when we walked closer to each other from opposite directions. Kris didn’t give me one glance at me as we were about to pass by each other. When we passed each other, I stopped on my tracks when I thought I saw her from the corner of my eyes.

“What is it?” Chanyeol asked me.

I didn’t answer him as I approached Kris to confirm my suspicions. I put a hand on Kris’s shoulders, signaling him to stop. I took a peak at the girl’s face who was on Kris’s back.

“Amber!” Chanyeol shouted when he finally realized the girl as Amber.

“Why the hell do you have Amber?” I interrogated, trying to not show anger.

“What’s going on?” When Chanyeol tried to reach for Amber, Kris backed away, not allowing us to touch her.
