Daehyun recovered fast and he was well now though he’s a bit dizzy from the intake of the painkiller medications.

The weather outside, after last night's rain was very cold. Hana didn’t sleep, eat or drink. She didn’t even cover herself with a blanket or jacket while other kids were deeply snuggled in their blankets.

Hana sat on the cold floor in those typical yoga sitting posture. She sat calmly waiting for Master Lu.

Daehyun came out for a fresh air but stopped short in his track when he saw Hana. Daehyun had a reason as to why he had to protect Hana, especially when she laid eyes on that red flower.

When Hana was younger, Hana was forbidden to touch or looked at red roses because the Japanese side of the ninja tribe would know that she’s the half-blooded Japanese/Korean breed from her parents. Oddly in the Japanese ninja rule, it is stated clearly that if one was from a different tribe, they can’t marry each other, if they do, they will die.

Hana’s father broke the rule and that's what got both his wife and himself dead. However, they left a descendent of a mix ninja, even though Hana was under Master Lu’s wings; she was still the target for generations to come. That's another reason as to why she's not allowed to leave the place until she’s been told to leave.

Daehyun approached Hana “Hey midget~ What are you doing out here in this cold weather?” He asked, concerned.

Hana moves away from him “Don’t come close to me, you’ll get hurt again.” Daehyun chuckled “I would never get hurt again; it’s not your fault you know. There was a trap there; you were new so I have to protect you.” He wanted to tell Hana, but he was sworn not to.

“Still, just stay away from me. I bring bad luck.” Hana moves farther from him. Daehyun smiled and sat himself down in front of her “You don’t bring bad luck. Where did you hear that nonsense?”

Hana wasn’t pouting but to Daehyun’s
