{BGM: Infinite - Destiny}

Hana woke up with her stomach grumbling of extreme hungriness. Her face frowned upon the pain of empty stomach and muffled a hush tone of groans, holding in her small misery.

She took couple of deep breaths, L was however woken up by the way she breathe, it sounded short and out of breath. He almost saw a look of discomfort on Hana’s face but was quickly covered with strong and cold expression.

He hastily noticed that Hana was clutching onto her stomach, he got up, leaving his room to somewhere. Hana made faces and turned to face the wall again ‘I’m so hungry! URGH!!!’ She pouted.

It was then as if L had read her mind; he came back with a tray of a bowl of rice, another small bowl of warm soup, seems like he just warmed it up for Hana and a small bowl of variety of vegetables. He placed the tray beside Hana.

Hana glanced at the tray with the corner of her eye and pretend not wanting it. L lay back down in his place and pretended to be going back to sleep. Hana peeked over her shoulder at L and saw that he was going back to sleep.

Hana quickly and quietly grabbed the tray, gobbling down the food into her empty tummy. L, who saw it, chuckled silently, and that ladies and gentleman was his first chuckle in the time span of him growing up.

When Hana finished, she wanted to burp but she held it in and smiled in content ‘Ah~ I’m full!’ She beamed, as she placed the bowl of rice on the tray back. All of a sudden, she felt that someone was squatting beside her.

Hana turned her head slightly, tilting her head a little higher and found someone beside her. It was L; he had fun watching her being sneaky. She jumped, leaving a huge space between them and start scowling again.

L took the tray away, sending it to the kitchen perhaps. Hana rubbed her warm hands against her cold arms, she was cold, and she missed Mrs. Lu's house bed and the thickness of their blanket.
