“Wae?! Why didn’t you tell me earlier?!”

“Minahae Minyoung-ah! I couldn’t find the right time…”

“Right time?! Oppa! Do you think I’ll be mad once you tell me?”

“Ne…”

“Myungsoo-ah, we’ve known each other for years and this is your career that we’re talking about, why the heck would I get mad… Aigoo… When are you leaving?”

Infinite is leaving for the U.S. where they’ll be shooting their new song’s MV because they’ll be making a comeback in the next months.

“Two days from now…”

“Arasseo… Is everything ready then?”

“Aniyo…”

“That’s why you decided to tell me… Aigoo… Hahahaha!!!! You’re still a baby inside! Chakamman, who will be staying with samchon at the hospital then?”

“Me and Sunggyu hyung have been discussing that already but we can’t think of someone…”

“Hmm… Well, I guess I could visit him everynight. It’s not like you guys would be in America forever right? I’ll be fine.”

“Are you sure?”

“Ne, as for work… Don’t worry, jus tmake sure to tell everyone later when we come to work, arasseo?”

“Ne!”

The two leave their room and go downstairs to have their breakfast.

“Oh! Annyeong Haseyo! Are you both hungry?” Doojoon asks.

“Ne oppa! We’ll have the usual!”

“Where are the others?”

“Still inside. Should I wake them…”

“Aniyo, it’s okay. Please tell one of them to get the dark blue trolley bag in the storage room.”

“Arasseo… omo, is one of you leaving?”

“Ne hyung, me.”

“Wae?”

“Infinite is shooting their new MV in the U.S.” says Minyoung.

“Omo! Jinjja?!”

“Ne  hyung.”

“Ah… That’s great! I hope your comeback is successful!”

“Kamsahamnida! By the way, Doojoon hyung since I won’t be around for a couple of days, could you please drive Minyoung to work and pick her up as well?”

“Oppa, I’ll be fine on my own. I’ll ride the…”

“Aniyo, I’m not saying that you won’t be fine but, I just want to make sure that you’ll always be safe.”

“Oppa…”

“Aigoo… you two are really sweet! Well! Here’s your breakfast! Dig in!”

An hour later, after the two went to work, the others came out to eat.

“… Myungsoo’s going to the U.S. and Minyoung’s staying here?! Omo! Yah, Gikwang-ah, here’s your chance!” says Hyunseung.

“Aniyo! I won’t do anything reckless.”

“That’s good to hear then! Let’s eat!”

That day, Myungsoo told everyone at the company about his leave and they all understand. After work, the decided to eat outside for dinner and buy some stuff that Myungsoo needed for his trip.

“…Ne oppa! Gomawo!”

“Well?”

“Doojoon oppa said it’s alright! I told them to have dinner already and to not wait for us.”

“Ahh… Did Haekyung come home already?”

“Ne, Gikwang oppa already picked him up. Are we going to eat first or go buy now?”

“Hmm, let’s eat first, I’m really hungry.”

“Arasseo! Gaja!”

They had a wonderful dinner at a nearby restaurant then after that, they bought some stuff that Myungsoo needed.

On their way home…

“You tired?” Myungsoo asks while driving.

“Ne oppa…”

“Are you sure you’re going to be fine without me or Sunggyu hyung?”

“Ne! How many times will I repeat that!”

“Arasseo! Just making sure…”

“Hahahaha! Just keep driving and stop being cute there…”

“But, I’m always cute!”

“Aigoo! You’re so full of yourself today! Let’s just see if you can sleep!”

“What are you going to do me?”

“Hehehe!”

Half an hour later…

Doojoon was passing by Minyoung and Myungsoo’s room because he forgot something on that floor when he heard something.

“Stop it”

“Aniyo!”

“Minyoung-ah!”

“Hahahaha! Oppa!”

Doojoon’s eyes widened and so, he placed his right ear on the door.

“Hajima!!!!” Myungsoo shouted!

The others downstairs heard it and went upstairs!

“Yah! What’s happening inside hyung?!” Dongwoon asked.

“Molla! I was just passing by and that!”

“Yah, do you think they’re…”

“Yoseob, spill it out.” says Junhyung.

“That they’re doing…”

“Hyunseung-ah… Maybe?” says Gikwang.

Then, the noises got closer until the bedroom’s door burst open! Myungsoo was the first to come out and was being chased by Minyoung! But, both stopped after seeing the six!

“Um… ah...”

“We…we were…”

“What were you doing… ehem… inside?” Yoseob asks shyly.

“Oh um, she kept tickling me and that’s why I shouted earlier… Omo! Mianhae! I didn’t mean to wake you guys up…” says Myungsoo.

“Ah, it’s okay! Really! Well um, Jal Jjayo!” says Dongwoon.

“Ne! Jal Jjayo oppadeul! Mianhae!” Minyoung says as she bows to apologizes to the six.

“It’s alright, no worries.” says Hyunseung.

“We were just worried that something… ehem ehem… wrong was going on inside… Well… Jal Jjayo! Come on guys!” Doojoon and the others said their goodbyes, bowed and went back downstairs.

“Aigoo… Yah! I told you to stop tickling me right?!” says Myungsoo.

“Did you really have to shout like that a while ago?” she asks.

“Well… um… I couldn’t take it anymore so I shouted… Aish! Let’s just sleep!”

“Ne! Arasseo oppa!”

They spent the next day preparing Myungsoo’s personal things and luggage.

Finally, the day of his departure arrived. Minyoung gave him a quick peck on the lips before he left with the rest of Infinite.

“Yah, only that?! Do it again…”

“Aniyo oppa! Hahahaha!”

“Chagiya!”

“Aniyo!”

He quickly wrapped his arms around her waist and whispered to her ear: “I’ll miss you.”

“Oppa… I’ll miss you too. Don’t forget to call me everyday.”

“Ne. We’ll be back before you know it. Doojoon hyung, please look after her.”

“Of course! You can count on me!”

“Gomawo. Annyeong.”

 “Annyeong, oppa.”

He lets go of her, turns around and catches up with the others.

“Yah! What about me?!” Sunggyu asks.

“I’ll miss you too oppa.”

Sunggyu smiles and gives her a hug as well before leaving.

“Doojoon oppa, let’s go home now.”

“Arasseo, I’ll get the car ready… Oh! He’s waving back at you!”

“Eh?!... Aigoo! (mouthing) Saranghaeyo!”

He does the same thing before turning around again.

Kim Residence…

“Did Infinite’s plane leave already?” Yoseob asks as he opens the door for Minyoung and Doojoon.

“Ne oppa. He just texted me. I guess I’ll be left in your care then!”

“We promise to make you happy!” says Dongwoon as he comes from the kitchen.

“Omo omo omo! Something smells good! Oppa, did you cook something?!”

“Just baked some cookies. I was actually going to call all of you to come and taste it. Let’s go!”

“Arasseo oppa! I’ll just have a quick change.”

The others proceeded to the dining room while she went upstairs to change.

15 minutes has passed already and she hasn’t come down yet.

“Gikwang-ah, can you please go upstairs and check up on her?” Doojoon says.

“Ne.”

He quickly goes upstairs and knocks on the door of Minyoung and Myungsoo’s bedroom.

“Minyoung-ah, aren’t you hungry? We’re waiting for you downstairs.”

There was no reply.

“I’m coming in!” He slowly opens the door and sees her sitting on her bed while apparently holding something in her hands.

“… Oh! Gikwang oppa… Mianhae for making you guys wait downstairs…”

“Yah, were you crying?”

She nods in reply to his question.

“You miss Myungsoo, don’t you?”

“Ne… And Sunggyu oppa too… Even before we started dating, I’ve always been like this every time he and Sunggyu oppa’s not here. With samchon in the hospital… Aigoo…”

“Well, you have us here.”

“Ne, you’re right. Gomawo oppa…”

“Stop crying now, okay?” Gikwang dries her tears with his hands.

“I’m fine, don’t worry about me...”

“Arasseo. Let’s go down now.”

The next few days was apparently normal for the six members of BEAST but for Minyoung, it wasn’t. She really missed Myungsoo to the point that when she has some documents to sign, she signs it under Myungsoo’s name since she knows his signature. But, whenever he calls, she snaps her depression and gets back to work more focused than ever… Until the next day when, it happens all over again.

“Minyoung-ah, we were thinking…”

“What is it Hyunseung oppa?”

“Well, you always go to the hospital at night to check on Mr. Kim right? Don’t you feel tired?”

“Well, yeah I do but, he’s my uncle so, I’m fine.”

“Well how about this: For the entire day tomorrow, one of us will stay there with him until the evening then another one will come to replace him.” says Doojoon.

“Hmm, not bad but, are you sure you guys want to do this?”

“Ne. We do.” says Junhyung.

“Arasseo. Let’s start tomorrow then! But, I’ll try to come every now and then to the hospital. So, who’s going first tomorrow?”

The six looked at each other and then…

Gikwang, Doojoon, Dongwoon, Junhyung & Hyunseung all shouted “YOSEOB!” While Yoseob himself shouted Junhyung’s name.

“… EH?! WHY ME?!” Yoseob shouted.

“Hahahaha! Just do it Seob! Hahahaha!” says Doojoon.

“Humph!”

“Hahahaha! That settles it then. Yoseob oppa, since it’s Monday tomorrow, you’ll be the first to go. During the evening, who’ll come replace him?”

“I’ll go.” says Dongwoon.

“Are you sure oppa?”

“Ne, I am.”

“Arasseo. For the next days, you guys decided but, the first two must not be repeated the next day, got it? Yoseob oppa, I think it would be best to go there at around 5AM. Can you do that?”

“Ne!”

“Doojoon oppa, can you make him some breakfast before he goes?”

“Ne! Algesseumnida!”

“Good! (yawns…) Jal JJayo Oppas!”
