At the meeting, Myungsoo couldn’t help but look at Minyoung who was giving a talk on something. Mr. Baek noticed him so he approached Myungsoo and said: “Sir, are you alright?”

“Mr. Baek!... Ne, I’m fine. Why ask?”

“It’s just that you keep looking at Ms. Minyoung. Is there something wrong?”

“Aniyo… Mr. Baek, after this meeting, could you please reserve a tablefor us in that new restaurant at Songpa-gu? For dinner.”

“Araseo. Understood sir.”

After the meeting, Minyoung demanded her phone from Myungsoo.

“Only if we have dinner outside tonight.”

“Nothing. I just thought of it. I already had Mr. Baek reserve us a table at that new restaurant at Songpa-gu.”

It was Yoseob who saw her message on Gikwang’s phone.

“Before I do, I have to change first! The heck! You said on our way here that we should be at the restaurant before 8PM and it’s only 5:30PM!”

“Aigoo… Myungsoo-ah, what color should I wear?” says Minyoung as she smiles. Myungsoo gets her and smiles as well.

That night, the two best friends arrived at the restaurant a few minutes before 8PM.

“Ma’am, Sir, this way please to your table.” says the waiter.

“Kamsahamnida.”

He leads the two to their table which was on the right side of the restaurant. They sat beside the glass wall. The waiter gives them the menu and they order a few minutes after.

While eating, Myungsoo couldn’t help but steal glances from Minyoung. At first, she doesn’t notice but later on, she does.

“Myungsoo-ah, why do you keep looking at me? Is there something on my face?”

“Eh? Oh, aniyo…”

“Come on now, tell me. We’re best friends right?”

“Jinjayo! It’s nothing…”

“Araseo.”

Myungoo says to himself: “Aigoo, why is my heart beating so fast? Ever since she came out in a dress like that, my heart has been racing so fast! Kim Myungsoo! Kim Minyoung is your best friend! You couldn’t honestly… (shouts and stands up) ANIYO!”

Everyone was surprised by what he did and were staring at him! Minyoung was so embarrassed!

“Yah! What is wrong with you?!”

“… (looks around him) Mianhaeyo! Please continue eating!”

“Myungsoo-ah! Ehem! Your disguise! What if they recognize you?! Sit down!”

“Oh right! Mianhae Minyoung-ah! Excuse me but I have to go t the comfort room. I’ll be right back!” He leaves her staring into confusion.

“What is honestly wrong with him?!”

Myungsoo quickly dashes for the comfort room. Once inside, he washes his face and then looks at the mirror.

“KIM MYUNGSOO! Don’t tell me that you’re falling in love with Minyoung?! YOU CAN’T!!! SHE’S YOUR BEST FRIEND DARN IT!...” He stopped talking once he saw a man was behind him who just came out from one of the cubicles.

“Ehehehe… mianhaeyo…” The man leaves the room with a confused look.

“Now you’re even embarrassing yourself… Aigoo…”

Back at their table, Minyoung gets her phone and texts Gikwang.

Oppa!

Gikwang sees her message and replies back.

Minyoung-ah! Where are you right now?

Oh, me and Myungsoo arehaving

 dinner in this new restaurant at

Songpa-gu!

Jinjayo? Araseo… so, you two are having a date?

Ah… ne…

Aigoo, then why did you texted me?

What if he sees you?

He’s in the comfort room right now.

I just wanted to apologize for what

happened this morning.

“Gikwang-ah…” Minyoung smiles as she keeps her phone. Myungsoo also returns at the same time.

“Yah, what are you smiling there for?”

“Amugeotdo. Continue eating now.”

“Oh sure, now you’re the one who won’t tell me.”

“Well then, who was the first one who refused to tell me his reason?” asks Minyoung.

“Kurae! I lost this round!... anyways, should we bring some food for Sunggyu? I’m sure he’s sick of hospital food already.”

“Hmm, araseo! Let’s being him some food then.”

At the hospital…

“Aigoo! Jeongmal gamsahaeyo! You’re both right1 I’m so sick of hospital food already!” says Suggyu.

“Go on then oppa, dig in!”

“Oh right! Is it okay if Hoya and the others come and stay here with me? I’ve been feeling lonely here.” says Sunggyu.

“It’s okay then hyung. At least you’re not alone when an emergency happens. “ says Myungsoo.

Omo, I left something at the car. Myungsoo-ah, may I borrow your keys?”

“Here. Hurry up.”

“Ne!” Minyoung leaves the two boys alone in Mr. Kim’s room.

“Sunggyu… I have to tell you something…”

“Mwo?”

“I… I… I think I’m in love with Minyoung.”

“Hyung?”

“… THAT’S GREAT THEN!!! YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW LONG I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS DAY!!!”

“Yah, you’re talking as if we’re dating already!”

The two boys then shook hands. Myungsoo notices Minyoung’s phone lying on a nearby desk. He grabs and checks the inbox and sees Gikwang’s last message. He now knows what to do from that point on.

So starting tomorrow Myungsoo, steps up his game. He becomes more affectionate and sweet towards Minyoung which often makes her wonder if there was something wrong with him. At the same time, Gikwang, although not knowing of Myungsoo’s plans, starts texting Minyoung on a daily basis, something which Myungsoo couldn’t stop.

Finally, it all came to a point when Myungsoo couldn’t take it anymore. Minyoung told him that she asked Gikwang to come to their house to pick up a cake which she baked herself. She said it was for BEAST and Haekyung to share. Myungsoo only nodded in reply.

That night, at the Kim Residence, Gikwang came at around 8PM. Minyoung was already waiting for him by the gate because he told her he was in a hurry.

“Gikwang oppa! Thanks for coming! Jinjayo!”

“Ne! So, is this the cake?”

“Ne! I hope you guys enjoy it!”

“Of course!... Minyoung-ah, I have to tell you something…”

“Eh? Mwoeyo?”

“Kim Minyoung, I like you.”

“Oppa…”

“Gikwang hyung, I think it’s time for you to go.” says Myungsoo who was coming outside and surprised the two.

“I thought this might happen.”

“Myungsoo-ah…”

“I thought I told you to step away from my girl?”

“Be that as it may, she’s not your property.” says Gikwang.

“Says who? You?” Myungsoo turns and faces Minyoung.  “Kim Minyoung, saranghaeyo.” He kisses her in front of Gikwang!!!...
