Author’s POV

 

The sun has not even risen and yet Grandma Tae Hee’s home was already filled with noises and hurried movements

 

Sandara stood at the side, staring at the Exo boys blankly. It was only 5 in the morning but everybody was already up, preparing for their much anticipated trip today

 

Her eyes couldn’t focus for a second as she followed the movement of the boys. They were all busy and yet when she offered to help them, she was shoved aside saying that they got it already

 

“Chanyeol! Don’t forget to pack the first aid kit!” D.O’s voice boomed from the kitchen.

 

“I got it Kyungsoo-omma!” Chanyeol replied hastily as he grabbed the kit and placed it inside his back pack

 

“Luhan, are the drinks settled in the cooler?” Lay chimed in, his voice coming from the kitchen as well

 

“Yes! I carried the cooler at the backseat already!” Luhan answered. He was now helping Chen pack umbrellas in case an unfortunate weather situation comes later

 

“Hey guys—“Dara tried to help once again but Sehun and Tao held her

 

“You can’t noona…” Tao shook his head as he clung on her right arm while Sehun did the same on her left “Noona, be good, okay?” Sehun added

 

“But—“

 

Suddenly, a hand pulled her and lead her to the couch. Kai gently pushed Dara making her sit. “Dara-noona, don’t be stubborn. We’ll be finished by 10 minutes then we could eat breakfast then leave. Just sit here and wait for a bit more arasso?” he placed his hand on both of her shoulders and stared at her expectantly

 

“But Kai—“

 

“No more buts noona” he winked at her before he went inside the kitchen, leaving Dara dumbfounded. She chose not to insist to help them anymore so she did what Kai told her to do

 

Today, they will be out to have fun and their destination is no other than Lotte World. She was really happy and excited for this day although she somehow felt troubled since she just got sick a few days ago and feared that it may recur.

 

They consulted D. Han and thankfully, he gave her permission. He checked her wound and it was starting to heal already. There seems to be no signs of internal bleeding that made her totally feel relieved. Although she seems well, Dr Han told her not to over exert herself and not to play too much. He doesn’t want her healing process to be impeded. She understood his point very much and promised to take care of herself

 

“We’re done!” Tao exclaimed as he entered the living room. He pulled Dara up and led her to the dining area “Eat a lot noona! You need a lot of energy for later” he beamed

 

“You bet I will!” she smiled in return

After almost 2 hours of ride on their rented van with a driver for the day, they had finally arrived in their destination. Dara went out of the van followed by the rest of the boys. All of them were definitely amazed since for most of them, it would be the first time that they came here.

 

All of them were present except for Kris and Suho who both had jobs at weekend. They will come as soon as their shift ends. For Bom and Top, they agreed to meet by the entrance

 

“Wowowow! I’m so excited! Let’s go!” Sehun dragged the astonished Tao to the entrance. Since it was still early in the morning, and they had tickets already, they can enter without queuing in a long line.

 

“Sehun don’t be too excited! Let’s all go together” Xiumin hissed as he ran after the two. “But hyung~ Faster please! I can’t wait to ride those amazing machines!” he exclaimed and Tao nodded his head in agreement. “But Bom-noona and Seunghyun-hyung are not yet here…” Xiumin argued

 

Dara chuckled as she saw the excitement on the maknaes’ eyes. “It’s okay Xiumin. You guys go ahead. I can wait here for Bommie and Top” she uttered. “But Dara-noona, you can’t be alone…” D.O pouted

 

“It’s okay Kyungsoo! I want you guys to maximize the tickets well! I want you guys to ride and play everything here” she didn’t resist the urge to pinch his cheeks “You guys go okay?”

 

“Yes guys, go. I will stay here with my Dara-noona!” Chanyeol rested his arms on her shoulders. “But Chan-chan” she tried to argue but Chanyeol stopped her. “Dara-noona should listen to her handsome nurse remember? Hehe. I will stay with you okay? We don’t want anything to happen to you” he explained with a firm yet gentle tone.

 

“Okay” she sighed in defeat. “Chen-ah, Xiumin-ah, I leave the boys to you until Bom and Top arrives. Don’t separate from each other okay? Send me a text message if you need anything alright?” she stared at the two older boys in the group. “No problem noona!” they both answered. Xiumin stared at the boys. “Alright boys! We’ll be the boss for a while! You guys better listen to us or we won’t be responsible for what would happen to you!” Xiumin exclaimed as he turned around to give Dara a cheeky smile “Xiumin-ah…” Chen hissed at him “Just kidding!” he beamed then grabbed Chen’s arm “Let’s go Mr Serious!” the rest followed them, the maknaes waving at them happily.

 

“See you later, Dara-noona, Chanyeol-ah” Luhan smiled at them. “See you later Luhannie. Have fun okay?” Dara pat his shoulder with a bright smile. He nodded his head in reply and his cheeks grew pink. “Okay, I-- I’ll go now…” he hastily followed the group. “Haha! Luhan easily gets flustered right Chan-chan?” she chuckled

 

Chanyeol turned his head away slightly. “Well, there are a lot of possible reasons why he gets flustered… Especially around you…” he mumbled the last words softly. “What did you say Chan-chan?” she asked him. “Nothing noona! Don’t mind me” he shook his head.

 

“Dara-noona, even if this is a gift for Sehun, I’m really thankful for this” he smiled diverting the topic of their conversation. “We could spend more time together too… Noona, let’s ride the ferris wheel together later okay? So we could have a nice chat” he tried to persuade her by cutely puffing his cheeks “Please~”

 

Dara chuckled at his cuteness. She pinched both of his cheeks before she nodded her head “Anything for my handsome nurse/adorable younger brother!” she beamed making both of them chuckle.

After almost an hour of waiting, Bom and Top finally arrived

 

“Noona, there they are!” Dara looked at the direction where he was pointing at. She almost fainted when she saw what Bom was wearing. Top has a pissed look on his face. She also noticed the two big paper bags that she was carrying

 

“Holy heavens Bom Park! What in the world are you wearing?!” Dara instantly forgot about how long they have waited. Her eyes heavily scrutinized the clothes she was wearing. She saw Chanyeol’s eyes as big as oranges as he stared at Bom. She immediately covered her brother’s eyes with her hand. I can’t let my Chan-chan be tainted with this… she huffed mentally

 

Bom wore an oversized sleeveless shirt covering her almost unnoticed short, shorts emphasizing her godly legs. Good thing she wore sneakers instead of heels or else, she would absolutely look out of place.

 

“She didn’t even listen to me when I told her to wear a pair of jeans instead…” Top grunted behind looking very much displeased. “Awww… Is my Baby Alien still mad at me? But I look good with these clothes right?” she cooed cutely making Dara gag in disgust as she removed her hand from Chanyeol’s face. Top crossed his arms and gave her a hard stare in response “Yes you look good. But I don’t want other men ogling at you all day” he scoffed. “Your body is for my eyes only”

 

“Baby you are so possessive! I feel giddy!” Bom clung on his arm disregarding the fact that he was mad. Dara can only stare at her in disbelief while Chanyeol chose to look away, not wanting to get butchered by Top if he saw him staring once again. “Do you really want me to change outfit?”

 

“Yes. For the sake of my sanity”

 

“Okay then!” she beamed as she turned towards Dara’s direction. “I will change my outfit if Dara changes hers too” she smirked as she raised the 2 paper bags she was holding, making Dara confused with her sudden declaration

 

“What are you saying now? I’m perfectly fine with what I am wearing!” she contested as she pulled the hem of her white shirt. She mis-matched it with a baggy pants and sneakers making her look like a young boy. Bom stared at her from head to toe and let out a heavy sigh “I swear Sandara Park, fashion police would surely you throw you in jail one day and I won’t bail you out” she shook her head

 

“I don’t care. And yah! If you brought extra clothes with you then why don’t you just change your clothes already?!” Dara grunted

 

But Bom had other plans

 

“No. If you don’t change then I won’t too” she swayed her body from left-right. “I’ll go with these exact same clothes if you go inside with that exact same clothes” she announced stubbornly making Dara’s blood boil. This girl is really stubborn! She scoffed mentally

 

No one spoke for the next few minutes until Bom decided to break the silence. “It’s a no huh? Then let’s go inside!” she dragged Top who glared at the boys who were staring at Bom “Aisht! I’m really mad!” he exclaimed through gritted teeth. “Can’t you just change your outfit baby?” he looked at her pleadingly. Bom shook her head. “No because Dara won’t do it”

 

Top looked at Dara with pleading eyes. “Dara please…” he pouted at her. “Please, please, please” he looked like a lost child making Dara’s heart waiver. Ah really! Top never asked me for anything although he had helped me and Bom a lot before! She thought

 

“What now Dara?” Bom smirked. Dara wanted to pull on her hair but she tried her best not to

 

Dara covered her face with both of her hands as she thinks. She peeked in between her fingers and saw the look on Top’s face, Argh!

 

Fine. I’ll do it!

Dara’s POV

That’s it!

 

“Would you people stop grinning?! It’s making me feel uncomfortable!” I whined as I pulled down the hem of this blue, above the knee, ridiculous skirt that I’m currently wearing. I felt Bom giggling behind my back making me snap at her. “I’m REALLY MAD PARK BOM. REALLY, REALLY MAD!” I warned her with a glare but she just continued giggling

 

She was now wearing a plain, black skinny jeans, totally covering her legs much to TOP’s satisfaction. But now, I am the one suffering from her condition as I walk around with a white cropped top, barely covering my navel and a skirt too short for my comfort. She even begged me to remove my glasses but I stand firm that I won’t remove them. She’s having way too much fun on playing dress me up and I have to stop her

 

I shouldn’t have agreed with this in the first place, I sighed

 

“Noona! Why are you so mad? You look absolutely adorable in your outfit!” Sehun exclaimed breaking me off my thoughts. I saw the rest of the boys nodding their heads eagerly looking like little puppies

 

“It’s actually refreshing to see you wear girls’ clothing that actually fits your size, noona” Xiumin added earning another round of nodding. “Noona! Please wear clothes like these more often okay?” Kai beamed next

 

I heaved a deep sigh. Can they not see how uncomfortable I am? Well, never mind… I’ll just let it pass for today

 

“So, where do we go to first boys?” I asked, completely leaving my issue on clothes behind

 

Sehun who was clinging on my arm suddenly stopped. I turned to his direction and my eyebrows furrowed seeing his face

 

 

“The Killer Roller Coaster” he muttered with an evil grin

 

Boy oh boy…

 

 

 

Author's POV

 

After two hours of playing around, Bom insisted Dara to take a rest because Dr Han clearly told her not to over exert herself. She complied and her eyes landed on the Exo boys who were busy running around. Her heart welled in happiness seeing their smile and laughter. It has been so long since they spent time together as a family. We should do this more often, she thought

 

However, from the corner of her eyes, she saw Tao sitting alone on another bench with a melancholic expression on his face as he stared blankly to nowhere. She wondered why the sudden change since he was literally jumping in joy when they arrived.

 

She immediately approached him bringing a bottle of water with her. “Hey Tao, are you okay?” she handed him the water which Tao took gladly with a weak smile. “Yes I am Dara-noona… I’m just a bit tired…” he explained with an unusually soft tone

 

Dara frowned. She was not used seeing Tao being soft-spoken and all. He is one of the jolliest members in their family and even if he is usually loud, she doesn’t mind it at all since Tao’s laughter can always make her tiredness and sadness go away in an instant. The same goes for the other boys but she had to admit that she has a soft spot for the two maknaes. Tao and Sehun’s aegyo attacks can literally melt anyone’s heart and she clearly knows that it can affect her the way the two wanted to.

 

And Chanyeol doesn’t have to know about that.

 

“Tao-ah, you know that you can always talk to me right? Is there something bothering you?” she nudged him lightly. Tao slightly nodded his head but didn’t look at her “Noona, you know that I don’t even have a single memory of my family right…? That is if I even had one…”He mumbled softly. He raised his head and saw Luhan running after the overly joyed Sehun. “Please don’t think I’m immature… or bad… But I really feel envious of Sehun and Chanyeol-hyung…” his eyes started to water. “Sehun has Luhan-hyung… and Chanyeol-hyung has you…”

 

Dara slowly understood Tao’s feelings on that moment.

 

He was already in the care of Grandma Tae Hee when she took her and Chanyeol in her care. She was told of his story.

 

He was abandoned mercilessly

 

According to her Grandma Tae Hee, she found him by her doorstep one morning. He was wrapped in a baby blanket and his small body fitted the box he was cradled in. The only identification he has was the baby tag on his left leg written, Huang Zi Tao.

 

Grandma Tae Hee immediately brought him to the nearest hospital to be examined. He was only days old when he was left. Tae Hee tried to look for his biological parents but she never got to find them. After a few years, she gave up on finding them. She was doing very well as his parent figure to Tao anyway. She gave him everything he needed and she had Kris to look for Tao as an older brother.

 

Eventually when he reached the age of 8, Grandma Tae Hee confessed his story of how she found him and that she wasn’t related to him by blood. But he was thankful, very grateful for he was blessed to be in her care and with the family he grew up with.

 

However, it doesn’t mean that it erased the fact that he was deeply scarred. He was unwanted that’s why he was left.

 

He was the only one who doesn’t have any memory of having a real family… the thought made Dara get hurt for his sake

 

Tao noticed Dara’s silence. “Noona… you do think I’m being childish huh…? I’m really sorry, it’s just that—“Dara s her arm on his waist and leaned her head on his shoulder, totally taking him by surprise “Noona…?” his eyes widened at her actions. It’s not like he didn’t want Dara cuddling him, it’s just that she never did it so willingly. Moreover, she was wearing something that makes her totally adorable in his eyes.

 

He blushed deep down to his core

 

“Tao-ah, I wouldn’t say that I know how you feel… I have a wonderful memory of my parents and I have Chanyeol with me… thus, I do not know the proper words to comfort you…  I do understand that it is indeed heart-breaking considering you have nothing to recall about them… You must be feeling that you are alone…” she muttered “But please do not think so. Because, all I know is that in the present time, you have me, the Exo boys, Bommie and Grandma Tae Hee who is watching over us. Please do not feel envious of Sehun and Chanyeol anymore… our current family may not be blood-related yet I guarantee you that the ties of this family is as strong alike” she reached for his hand and gently squeezed it. “Don’t be sad anymore okay? You are supposed to enjoy this day baby panda!” she smiled at him

 

Tao immediately wiped the tears in his eyes. Dara-noona is right. I should be contented and happy, he thought with a wide smile. Seeing this, Dara patted his head “It’s good to see you smiling!” she beamed

 

He nodded his head eagerly. “Thank you noona… I’m stopping the drama now” they both chuckled.

 

Then a thought came to him

 

“Dara-noona…” his usual smile showing much to Dara’s delight

 

“Hmm…?”

 

“Because Grandma Tae Hee is not here anymore… although she will always be number one… Can you be my second omma?” he asked, it was his turn to lean his head on her shoulder

 

From afar, the Exo boys saw the skinship that the 2 is displaying in public. They stared at them in wonder but did nothing since they are used to Tao’s clingy behaviour especially with Dara. Although Chanyeol was curious, he chose not to confront him since Tao was normally like that.

 

However, it was different for Sehun who started walking towards the bench where they sat. Their conversation getting clearer every step he took

 

“Awww… you want a 21-year old mother?” he nodded his head eagerly making Dara chuckle. “Arasso, but honestly, I have always thought of being the omma of each and every one of you” she continued

 

“Thank you noona! I have a very pretty mother!” he hugged her quickly which Dara returned by doing the same

 

“So it is official! You are my omma then Kris-hyung is my appa!” he beamed

 

She froze on her seat instantly

 

So it is official! You are my omma then Kris-hyung is my appa

 

You are my omma then Kris-hyung is my appa!

You are my omma!

 

Kris-hyung is my appa!

 

What the…?!

 

She was about to retort when a scream beat her to it

 

“NOOOOOO!!! Huang Zi Tao, YOU’RE DELUSIONAL! Get away from my Dara-noona! GET AWAY!” he started pulling Dara away from his grasp but Tao only held her tighter. “Dara-noona agreed to be my omma! Mehrong!” he pissed him more “Goodbye to your Dara-noona and Luhan-hyun fantasy because Dara-omma and Kris-appa has immortalized through me, their adorable son!” he beamed

 

“TAOOOO!!!” they continued to bicker leaving Dara blushing on her own

 

Chanyeol seeing Dara being fought over immediately approached them and freed her from the grip of the two. The Exo boys followed and they started to fuss over them

 

Dara could only shake her head at them. When would this stop? Good thing Bom is out to buy ice cream or else… she frowned at the thought. These boys really…

 

Click! Click!

 

She suddenly heard a sound of camera nearby making her head turn.

 

Where did that came from…? Her head moved from side to side

 

But she found no one with a camera

 

That’s weird… I’m sure that-- she thought but immediately dismissed the fact since they were in an amusement park anyway. There are a lot of people taking pictures here or she could have just misheard the sound…

 

However, the question is…
