“I just a need a few minutes, why would I need to make an appointment two weeks earlier?” Saemi asked.

“I’m sorry, miss. But they are company rules.”

“So, I have to make an-”

“Saemi?”

Her and the secretary turned and found Ilwoo looking at them.

“Oh, oppa.”

“What are you doing here?”

“This is your office?”

“Yes, the main one.” Ilwoo nodded as he sat on the leather seat across her.

“Oppa told me this place was just one- Oh, he lied to me.”

“What are you saying?”

“I started working for our advertising team as well as publicity department.”

“Really?”

“And, rumors have been starting about me being especially favored by the president.”

“They dont know you’re his sister?” Ilwoo asked her.

“I dont want them to know, I want to learn from the bottom first.”

Ilwoo looked at her.

“You’re right about that.” He smiled.

“And the reason why I’m here is that to prove that I can do things myself and stop the rumors. Thats why I have to persuade your company to hold your annual BOD meeting at our Cheongdam branch.”

“I can settle that one, that’s easy-”

“No, oppa. Not yet. You have to let me persuade you.”

Ilwoo blinked back.

“How about you come to our branch tomorrow, I’ll lay out some dishes from the menu and you decide if we pass. I have to work for it”

Ilwoo chuckled.

“Come on, oppa.”

“Fine, after lunch then, I’m free by that time.”

“Good, thank you, Ilwoo oppa.”

Joongki smiled to himself as he recalled what happened earlier.

It was his first time to do that. He never actually thought about how to put down girls, he usually succeeded. It never actually hit him that he might need some help, like earlier.

And what suprised him most was Saemi never got angry about it.

“A cool woman.” He mused to himself before getting his coat.

“So you’re playing the hard working chaebol princess.”

Saemi rolled her eyes as she started her car.

“Dont start with me.”

“Good luck on that, Saem.”

“It’s been a while since I’m running around Seoul though, after I finish this deal, I might consider hitting the beach.”

“Malibu?” The man chuckled from the other line.

“I am going to kill you.”

He laughed.

“I’ll be dropping by soon, so watch out, cupcake.”
