Saemi curled her fingers around the warm mug of tea Khun sat across her.

“He was tranquilized just like an animal.” She seethed.

“This person, he was able to uncover a lot of things in such a short time.” Saemi said as she took a sip from her drink.

“What do plan to do? You didn’t tell uncle yet?”

“Ani, I plan to, but not now.”

“So who else knows?”

“Joongki oppa, it was his cousin who helped me.”

Khun nodded and looked at her.

“Have you been watching Jaehee’s actions still?”

“I need to keep her at my sight, she tried to kick me out, remember?”

Khun nodded then his brows furrowed.

“Do...they know that you’re living here? With me.”

Saemi blinked.

“I actually haven’t told anyone, but that doesn’t matter, Khun.” She shook her head, then she stood up.

“Let’s have dinner out, you’ve been cooking a lot for me lately.” She said before walking to her room.

“I might not matter to you, but those two will kill me.” Khun murmured before vacating seat.

“A party?” Saemi looked up.

“Yeah, you need to bring an with you. Will you come with me?” Ilwoo asked.

Saemi nodded slowly.

“I guess it will be a refreshing experience-”

The doors suddenly opened.

“What exactly are you thinking?” Jaehee stormed in her office.

Saemi and Ilwoo stood up.

“What do you mean, Director Lee?”  Saemi asked.

“That project....my team has been working on that for two years, how dare you reject it?”

Saemi smirked.

“Because I’m the president.”

“Who are you to do this? You-”

“Technically, I’m your senior, why are you speaking informally with me?”

Ilwoo glanced at the other female.

“That project was-”

“Your project has many loopholes, it even looked like it has some slush funds hidden. You don’t want that right?”

Lee Jaehee paled.

“I didn’t get my MBA for nothing. Then, can you leave now? I’m having a conversation with Attorney Jung.”

“You will regret this, Lee Saemi.”

“We’ll see.” Saemi smiled before gesturing towards the door.

Lee Jaehee stalked off and shut the door behind her, Ilwoo looked at Saemi then he smiled.

“When did you get so strong?”

Saemi smiled and looked at the photo on her desk, it was a photo of her and her older brother.

“I have to guard this position for oppa, Ilwoo oppa, about the party, I’ll come with you.” She smiled.

Ilwoo smiled at her and gently took her hands in his.

Saemi blinked up at him.

“I look up to you for staying strong, Lee Saemi.”
