“Sir, Miss Lee is at this branch now.” Joongki’s secretary reported as they walked around.

“Really? Where is she?”

“She’s at the third floor at the women’s department.”

Joongki nodded and walked towards the escalator.

“Reschedule the meeting, I have to meet Saemi.” He said.

His secretary nodded and smiled.

Saemi bit her lip as she walked around the different brands.

“What’s bothering you?” A voice joined her thoughts, she turned and found Joongki smirking at her.

“I heard you were here.” He nodded as he walked to her.

“Ilwoo oppa invited me to this party-”

“The Business Association Ball?”

She nodded.

“He said he needed a partner to come with.”

Joongki stopped.

“He asked you?”

“He did.” Saemi nodded as she looked around, Joongki glanced at her.

He forced a smile and took her arm.

“Why don’t we wait at the private dressing room and I’ll have them prepare a few things for you to choose from.”

Saemi sat down at the couch and waited for the SAs to come back.

“How are you holding up?”

“On the verge of being crazy.” She grinned at him and crossed her legs.

“Ilwoo oppa has been helpful at work. I’m glad he’s my legal counsel.”

Joongki nodded and looked away.

“Saemi-ah, are you free tonight?”

“I think I am, wae?”

“Let’s have dinner together. Is that okay?” Joongki looked at her.

Saemi nodded.

Soon, the SAs arrived with rows of dresses with them.

“Here, try it on.” Joongki nodded, Saemi glanced at him.

“Oppa, this is cheating.”

Joongki looked at her in confusion.

“Customers out there are having a hard time looking for the perfect dress.” She smirked and stood up, Joongki smiled.

“It’s because Miss Lee has connections.”

Saemi smiled, then she bit his lip.

“Oppa?”

“Hm?”

“My brother...we’ll find him, right?”

Joongki stood up and walked to her.

“We will.” He said firmly as he squeezed her arms, then he gently wrapped his arms around her.

Saemi felt herself tense, but it was different. She wasn’t having a panic attack, instead she felt nervous at the same time safe.

“So, don’t worry. It wont be too long until we find Minho.” Joongki said as he pulled away from her.

Saemi swallowed and nodded.

“Go ahead and try the dresses on, you can’t have the president waiting.” He patted his shoulder and smiled at her. Saemi scoffed and rolled her eyes.

“Yes, president.”

Saemi stepped out of the department store with Joongki beside her, he was holding the shopping bags for her.

“But, oppa, you should have let me pay for my things instead.” Saemi grumbled. Joongki smiled and simply shook his head.

“There’s no point in arguing with you.”

“Yup.” He nodded, Saemi then smiled and wrapped one arm around his.

“Then, I must treat you lunch tomorrow, will that be okay?”

Joongki nodded, his chest tightening at her touch.

“Great, oh!”

Khun was walking to them.

“He’s here to pick me up, oppa.” Saemi let go of him and walked to Khun.

“Took you long enough.” Khun hid his smirk as he got the bags from Joongki.

“I’ll take her home.” Khun said, Joongki nodded quietly. Saemi turned to him.

“Oppa, thanks for everything. Don’t forget about lunch tomorrow.”

Joongki watched as the two leave, Saemi was constantly tugging on Khun’s sleeve and he would swat her away. He saw Saemi chuckle and wrap one arm around his waist, they were both laughing as they walked towards the exit.

Joongki’s brows furrowed as he turned away from them.

“Who exactly owns her heart?”
