I was frozen, I felt terrible, and I wanted to take back what  said. Hongki had called me his girlfriend yet when it was my turn, I totally just denied it.

"So...?" Jaehee asked with a smile plastered across his face. He had asked me out after I said that Hongki was just a friend. There was a long pause, when Hongki suddenly got up.

"Excuse me for just a second," he said and he left for the washroom. What. Was. I. Going. To. Do. Ugh. I felt so bad. When Hongki came back, he didn't look at me but at the table.

"Hm...?" Jaehee kept asking. I decided to answer him truthfully.

"Thank you, but sorry, no," I said. He looked a bit disappointed, but he was still persistent.

"Why? I thought you two weren't dating. Is it because I cut my hair? Did you like the longer style better? Maybe it's the shirt I'm wearing? Aw, I knew I shouldn't have worn red today!" He kept going at that for about a minute.

"No dont worry, it's not you. It's just," I bit my lip. "I-I already have someone I like..." I blushed and looked down at my hands. Jaehee leaned closer and asked,

"Who? This guy? Someone from your new school? Are there a lot of good looking guys there? Would you mind if I ask again in about a week or something?" I think he was about to continue on, when Hongki grabbed the back of his shirt and made him sit properly.

"She said she's not interested. Let it go." My eyes widened. He then took my hand and we left the r
