Ms. Kwon gave Hee Rin a chance to rest for one day since she noticed her getting a bit pale these past few days. She would always do whatever Ms. Kwon or the Queen orders, even if it is beyond her limit. She would force herself to do anything just to prove everyone that she is good enough for their prince. She never complain of whatever she is asked to do because this is the only thing she can show Myungsoo that she’s Hee Rin, the wife that will do anything for her husband.

Of course there were times when Hee Rin kind of feeling tired of doing such things that she is not used to do before she gets married. She has to admit that it was really hard to adjust with everything since she never experiences this when she was still living with her normal life before. I’m not saying that her life now wasn’t normal but she is one of the royals now!

There were times when she just wants to just run away for a while and go far away from everyone, just to take her tiredness away. She wants to relax for a while. Everyone would think that she was now living with luxury and like a heaven place but they were wrong… This life that she entered was nothing like heaven. Yes, they have maids and some other staff to do some things for them but it wasn’t like they are relaxing… Because everything that Hee Rin is feeling now is beyond everyone could imagine…

She felt lonely, scared, and alone and sometimes she kind of feels like a slave too. Why slave? Because she was doing whatever everyone tells her to do and was fulfilling what the citizen would expect her to be. She changed herself to the Hee Rin that everyone wants her to be, she really did. From the way she dress, walk, talk… She changed it all. Just for the sake of everyone’s happiness… But they never know if Hee Rin was happy with it too, because they never asked and they never respect her own decision.

Sometimes when she wakes up in the morning, she would stare at the mirror and would ask herself “is this me?” over and over again.

But whenever she felt sad and when she feels like she wants to give up, she will just think of her husband and why she chooses to live with him… And everything bad that she feels will just subside. Because she knew that even if she changes her appearance, Myungsoo will always be the one that will love her beyond her beauty.

The question is… Does Myungsoo really love her that way?

Hee Rin went downstairs when she hear Myungsoo’s car. It was around 7 in the evening and she wonders why he came home early today?

“Hello” She smiles as she greeted Myungsoo at the door. She gets his suit case and coat… ah, the usual that she does everyday.

“You’re early today” She remarked as they walk up the stairs to Myungsoo’s room.

“I finished my paperworks early. And I don’t have any schedules so I decided to just go home” He says as he opens the door. They went inside and Hee Rin placed his suit case on his table and hangs his coat in the cabinet.

“What do you want for dinner?” She asks as Myungsoo throws himself on his bed, hugging his pillow tightly.

“Anything… Just leave it to the cooks” He shrugs and buries his face in the pillow. Hee Rin bites her inner cheeks before excusing herself to go downstairs. She doesn’t have anything to do in his room anyway.

“May I help?” Hee Rin asks with a smile as she reaches for a cloth to wipe the vases. The maids widened their eyes and hurriedly snatch the dirty cloth away from Hee Rin but she just tightened her grip on it.

“Miss, you don’t have to help us. We can do these ourselves” One of the maids says, more like begging.

“Come on, just let me help you this once. Huh?” She pleads with her hands clasp together and a convincing smile lingering her lips. Of course, the maids couldn’t do anything since they were tired to go against her. Hee Rin always bothers everyone in the house and would always ask if she can help them, she always fail to get their approval, but she still tries.

“Yes! You will definitely not regret hiring me~~” she sing-song and the maids giggled at her cheerfulness. They liked her more than anyone knows. Though they didn’t make any conversation with her since they were afraid that their work will be taken away if they speak casually to their masters, they still have to admit that Hee Rin was so patient. She still opens a topic and would never stop blabbering about anything that she could think of even if everyone in the house doesn’t respond to her. For them, she’s like an angel… Because whenever she smile, they couldn’t help but to smile too and whenever she greets everyone with her cheerful voice, they would just feel like their day was already bright because of her.

“You know what, I always do this back when I was still single” She says while wiping the vase carefully. The maids just gave her a forced smile since they didn’t want her to feel sad, but they still remind themselves that she’s their Madam.

“I also know how to cook. My mom taught me.” She grins as she proceeded to wipe the windows. “But I’m not a very good cook though” She pouts, making the maids giggle.

“You want me to cook for all of you next time?” she turned to look at them with a wide smile and they all gave her a wide eyes but just smile at her after some time since they knew that Hee Rin was just trying to be friend with them.

She continues to blabber about some things while wiping the big windows that she didn’t realize that the maids had gone quiet all of the sudden. They were quiet all the time anyways but their giggling stops.

“I didn’t know that this house have a new maid” Someone laughs just as when Hee Rin was jumping to wipe the upper part of the window. She turned to look at where the voice came from and she gasped.

“Oh!” She gasped and retracts her hand and straightened her dress. Standing in the living room was Min Ae… And Myungsoo’s friends.

“Min ae! You’re here and… you brought my husband’s friends” She says as she eyed the 5 boys standing beside Min Ae. They gave her a wave and Min Ae quietly snorted when Hee Rin says ‘husband’s friends’

“I-I’ll call Myungsoo!” Hee Rin chirps and was ready to walk away but Hoya told her that they already order one of the maids to call Myungsoo.

“I didn’t realize that you came in. I’m sorry” She shook her head with an apologetic smile. Sungyeol, Hoya and Sungjong went to plop themselves on the sofa while the singgyu and Dongwoo walks around the living room, eyeing every expensive furnitures. Min Ae remained on her spot with her arms crossed against her chest and eyes never leaving Hee Rin.

“Oh. That’s okay” Sungjong shook his head and smiled at Hee Rin’s kindness.

“What are you all doing here?” Myungsoo greets while rubbing his eye. Min Ae spun around and a smile immediately appears on her lips as she saw her boyfriend. “Oppa!” She exclaimed and run to hug his arm. Myungsoo looks at her with furrowed brows.

Hee Rin didn’t know why but she suddenly feel a little tinge in her heart when Min Ae does that to Myungsoo.

Sunggyu must have noticed the tension, so he suddenly claps his hands while laughing. “This house is really beautiful! Hee Rin must be a very good wife” He says that makes them turned to look at him. The boys agreed.

Myungsoo rolls his eyes and stops to glanced at his wife, he noticed her hands tightly gripping the dirty cloth and couldln’t help but to furrow his brows. “Hee Rin, why are you holding that piece of cloth?” He asks in disbelief and Hee Rin’s eyes suddenly narrows as she quickly hid her hands on her back.

“We found her wiping the window a while ago” Sungyeol informed as he rest his legs on Sungjong’s lap, making the younger one scowl.

Myungsoo turned to look at Hee Rin to see her face flush red and was biting her lower lip guiltily. He sighs. “Oppa, let’s eat. We brought pasta!” Min Ae tugged his sleeves and Myungsoo suddenly remember that she’s there. He awkwardly yanks her hand away from his arm and glanced at Hee Rin to see if she’s fuming. But she’s not.

“I was the only one who cooked it. They didn’t help” Sungyeol scoffs and rolled his eyes at Min Ae.

Soon enough, they all sat at the big table in the dining room as the maids lay different dishes in front of them, including the pasta that Sungyeol cooked. Min Ae was about to sit beside Myungsoo but he quickly calls Hee Rin and pulled her to sit beside him, making the boys snicker and Min Ae was left pouting and was forced to sit beside Hoya.

The room was filled with laughter and nonstop talking, and Hee Rin can’t help but to smile. At least the house wasn’t silent today.

Woohyun came an hour later since he has to finish his schedules. The boys greeted him excitedly but when he met eyes with Myungsoo, they knew that they’re still mad with each other, but they just sets their madness aside for the sake of the bonding.

Myungsoo somehow realizes that Hee Rin was very close to his brother. While everyone was busy talking with each other, he realizes that only Woohyun was talking casually with his wife. They exchange talks more than they did in a minute and he wonders how they often bond when they’re in the palace.

“By the way, I love that painting the most in this mansion” Sungjong suddenly interrupts, making all of them turned to looks at where he is pointing. It was the panting that was hanging right at the big fat wall in the dining room.

“Hee Rin was the one who painted that with her classmates” Myungsoo informed as he proceeded to eat. The boys amazingly turned to look at Hee Rin while Min Ae just rolled her eyes, ignoring their compliments and just ate by herself.

“You really did that?!” Dongwoo exaggeratedly pointed and Hee Rin giggles.

“yeah. But I didn’t do the whole. My friends were the ones who finished it and gave it to me as a wedding gift” she smiles.

“Woooaaaahhh!!! Can you make another one for my office?” Hoya chimed in and Hee Rin suddenly became quiet…

It’s been a while since she last hold her paint brush… And somehow, she wonders if she still can paint like before. Woohyun glanced at her and noticed her sudden change of expression and couldn’t help but to feel worried.

“I don’t think I can paint like that anymore…” She said with a small smile. Myungsoo noticed the sadness in her eyes and couldn’t help but to feel guilty. Woohyun glared at his brother and Myungsoo looks away. He was the reason of her sadness after all.

“Here, eat this” Hee Rin smiles as she put some fish fillet in Myungsoo’s plate.

“He doesn’t like that” Min Ae remarks and stood up to put a beef stake in Myungsoo’s plate instead, making Hee Rin gulp and retracts her hand.

“Oh.. really? I-sorry.” She dryly laughs and Myungsoo looks away, avoiding the tension.

“Myungsoo oppa doesn’t like chicken too” Min Ae continues as she gracefully sits back on her seat. The boys glanced at each other worriedly and Sunggyu lightly shook his head. This isn’t good.

 Hee Rin glanced at the chicken that she just put on Myungsoo’s plate earlier and couldn’t help but to feel embarrass. She didn’t know. Somehow, she suddenly felt a pang in her heart when she realizes that Min Ae knew Myungsoo too well. She suddenly felt ashamed about herself.

“It’s okay. I can eat chicken sometimes” Myungsoo suddenly says as he noticed Hee Rin’s shoulder deflating and her smile fading away.

Woohyun clears his throat and opened a new topic as everyone talks out again, making the awkward room filled with laughter again. Myungsoo laughs with them and they all continue with their converstion. He was glancing at Hee Rin once in a while and couldn’t help but to notice her sad expression. He knew and he felt that she was feeling down and somehow, he scolds himself for making her smile fade away. Guiltiness finds its way to bother his mind again.
