Time to Yourself
Sunflowers Under the Sun
Auditions began only a few days later. As soon as she had known where and when, she called Seung Hyun. She knew he would be wonderful for this. It would be nice, to all be together again as well. However, she did not have time to worry about that. The auditions went on for three months. On the first day, Seung Hyun came, but failed the camera test. Despite his new found height, he was still heavy. However, Yoon Ah had struck a deal with YG. If he could lose enough weight to pass the camera test before the end of the audition process, he would be allowed to join. She sent him home with a strict diet and exercise plan and her faith. She knew he would not let her down.
In the third month, Dae Sung auditioned for them. He was a bit pitchier than most, but his range was impressive and she could see his potential. YG saw it too and gave her the okay to talk to his parents. Though they made it very clear they did not support him in his desire to become a singer and turned her away ever time she came to talk to them about it. However they soon found out that despite how sweet she looked, she was incredibly persistent. She had gotten them to agree to training within two weeks.
The last two had been chosen by YG alone. One was good, but Yoon Ah saw him as weak, Jang Hyun Seng. She didn’t find him particularly fun. She could not even comfort them, like she had been doing for the last three years.
When Seung Hyun came, the day before training was to begin, she found that the weight she had been carrying suddenly disappeared. She had expected him to show up almost a week prior. He looked different, without the weight. Turned out he had fabulous bone structure. Even though everything about his body had changed, she had no trouble recognizing him. His smile was always genuine and uniquely his.
She flung herself into his arms when he showed up, in his trade mark over sized t-shirt. “You idiot!” She shouted in his ear as she clung to him. He was easier to hug now. He hugged her back and laughed at her. “What, didn’t you think I would come? You fought so hard for us, all the time. You fought so hard for me to be here. Did you think I’d waste it?” He asked, in her ear. Even now, his voice gave her chills. It was always a surprise after too long not hearing it.
“You could have called, you idiot.” She said, hitting him in his chest and being surprised when her hand began to hurt. She looked up at him, finally taking in all the changes. He looked like a completely different person, now. He had become far too handsome for his own good. He smirked at her and she just blinked at him, a few times. His bone structure really was perfect. Without the weight, he looked longer. She held him out at arm’s length and smiled brightly. “You look great.” She said.
“Yoon Ah.” He said, his smile softening. She tilted her head and looked up at him, confused. “You’ve always fought for u
