Her life became as routine as it had ever been, suddenly. She went for a jog in the mornings before school, saw the boys in class and handed out lunches happily. Then, she would drop them off to the studio for practice before heading off on her own. Monday and Wednesday was dance. Tuesday and Thursday was martial arts. Friday, she did dance before her snack delivery to the studio and eating with the boys, then martial arts. Saturdays, were spent at the studio. She watched every routine, listened to every song and enjoyed herself immensely. Sundays, she spent with her girlfriend, who loved ragging her around shopping and taking her to the spa and doing all the things she could never do with the boys. It was a nice life. It was the kind of life she could live forever.

For three months, she worked and played with her friends and sang in the night until she fell asleep, clutching her guitar. She now knew she could survive, without the boys. When they left, it would hurt, but she would go on. The dance studio wanted to hire her, soon. Besides that, there was an offer for her to start leading a dance team in a night club. It wasn’t a big place, but she would be running entertainment and music and lights. She would get a cut of what came in the door every night. It might not be much at first, but she could help with that.

Friday, one morning, as she was jogging to school, she got a call. The number was unfamiliar, but she picked up anyeay. “Make gumbo tonight.” The voice said before she could even say hello. “It better be spicy. I’ll be over at eight.” The person on the other line hung up and she frowned at her phone. Young Bae grabbed her arm and pulled her toward the school.

After dance practice and martial arts, Yoon Ah was on her way home, ready to collapse. Five o’clock always came too early and not early enough. She laid in bed, and sighed. Gumbo sounded like a good idea, for dinner. On the way, she walked past the super market and stopped. Should she make spicy gumbo? If she did, there was really only one person she could be making it for. She walked into the market and stopped in front of the sea food, clutching her bag.

The doorbell rang precisely at eight and she looked up from the bathroom mirror. She stuck her head out of the bathroom and the door bell rang again. She walked to the door and bit her lip, hesitating to answer it. “Ya! Songbird!” He shouted and she flung the door open, eyes wide.

Dong Wook looked down at Yoon Ah and smiled to himself. She was wearing a mid thigh length purple dress that clung to her in the most alluring way. A wide black ribbon circled her tiny waist as she covered . Her hair was down, but held out of her face with an adorable flower covered black headband, leaving her wide eyes open for him to see. She looked almost angelic. “Dong Wook!” She said and he felt himself grinning at her. “Oh, no, I shouldn’t call you t
