It was beautiful,of course it was.What else did I expect?
 
But what was more beautiful was the way Daehyun held my hand,telling me why cherry blossoms were of such importance to his grandfather.
 
I didn't find it boring when Daehyun talked about his family.I found it intriguing.
 
His family would bring him to see cherry blossoms and my family would bring me to the beach.
 
It held special meaning for both of us,and we respected it.
 
The flowers were still in full bloom,which made me wonder what kind of plan Daehyun had in store for me.
 
"Oppa,they're in full bloom."
 
He swung our hands,"Yeah,its beautiful isn't it?"
 
"I thought you wanted to show me the end of the season?"
 
"Oh?No no,that isn't the main purpose of me taking you out here."
 
"What does that mean?"
 
"Babe,I want you to remember and appreciate the flowers that are in full bloom right now.When the time comes,you will see."
 
"See what?"
 
He chuckled,"You're really impatient,I'll fix that."
 
"Bwoh?"
 
He pulled me to a bench and sat me down.
 
"Wait here for me okay?"
 
I squeezed his hand,"Kajima."
 
He smiled and kissed me,"Just for a while baby."
 
I sighed and reluctantly let him go.He ran off and I sat there waiting.
 
The wind blew gently and the grass swayed in the breeze.
 
Again,I sat under a cherry blossom tree.
 
My eyes widened,it is sunny and Daehyun made me wait in the shade.
 
"He's going to take a long time." I muttered stupidly to myself.
 
I buried my face into my hands and grumbled and mumbled tons of stuff that involved me punishing him later.
 
A few hours passed and I gave up on calling him.
 
I looked around,not many people anymore.
 
The cherry blossoms were the only thing keeping me company.
 
"Ottoke,my husband left me out here all alone."
 
I grumbled again and hugged my knees to my chest.
 
"Jung Daehyun you're going to regret it later."
 
I looked ahead and saw the sun set.It was amazing.The sky was a blazing reddish orange and my mouth fell open in pure awe and wonder.
 
I stood up and walked around,admiring the way the sun's orange streaks made the cherry blossoms seem so much more beautiful.
 
A flower floated down and I caught it in my hand.
 
I giggled,its nicest when I'm here alone.I get to take in every single thing.
 
Like every beautiful thing here belonged to me.Even the gentle wind.
 
I paused in my steps,"Was that why Daehyun left me here?"
 
I muttered under my breath and sat back down on the bench.
 
The sky darkened and I started to panic.
 
Did something happen to Daehyun?He wouldn't leave me here for almost six hours.
 
He said a while,how long was his while?
 
"Aish,oppa stop playing and come back.At least send me a message or something."
 
I kicked the stones on the ground and felt the sky darken further.
 
I started pacing around.I was about to burst into tears.
 
"Oppa,please,just come back.Scratch that,just a message will do.Don't disappear like last time please.
 
I can't take it."
 
*Flashback*
 
After that night of Jaejoong's visit.I never slept.I couldn't.
 
Daehyun just disappeared like that.Like he never existed in my life.
 
Which scared me.
 
Daehyun is okay right?But how do I know that?He didn't send a single message to me.Not one.
 
Nothing.
 
My cramps were replaced by fear and worrying for Daehyun.
 
I barely ate,I drank water but that was it.I missed him badly.
 
B.A.P didn't know what happened.
 
My parents and Daehyun's weren't picking up my calls.I was close to going mad.
 
How could someone just leave without a trace?I was like a zombie.
 
The whole week was just plain torture for me.
 
Was it my fault he left?Why did he leave?Why now?
 
I sat there on my sofa,staring at the black TV screen.Thoughts running wild in my mind but nothing showed on my blank face.
 
I was going crazy inside,I was dying inside.
 
Until four in the morning,my phone rang.
 
I stared at the screen,"Appa."
 
I squinted and tried to register those familiar letters in my mind.
 
Appa.
 
I suddenly remembered that I was supposed to answer the call.
 
And I did.
 
"Yeoboseyo?"
 
"H-Hyunmin ah."My father's voice cracked.
 
"Appa?"
 
"Hey baby."
 
I tried to let his voice do its trick on me.Comfort me.
 
It worked for a while,like it always has.
 
But it faded after a few seconds.
 
"W-What are you calling me for?"My throat was dry and raspy.
 
"My dear,something happened."
 
"Bwoh?"
 
A short pause,"To Daehyun."
 
My eyes widened,my heart stopped,something started eating my heart.Like acid.
 
"B-Bwoh?"
 
That was the morning I knew about Daehyun's grandfather's passing.
 
*End of Flashback*
 
The same feeling of something eating my heart came back.
 
The sky was pitch black now.Only the street lamps provided a little bit of light.
 
But it didn't help much if I could trip five times in five minutes.
 
I paced around and glanced at my watch.
 
10pm.
 
Wow,this is the longest I've waited for anyone.
 
"Okay Jung Daehyun,you've won the award of longest person I've ever waited for,you can come back now."
 
Immediately after I said that,the street lamps went off.
 
It is totally dark now.I couldn't see my finger in front of my face.
 
"Ah great the lights just had to go off now."
 
I stumbled a little and tripped another dozen of times until the lights came back on.
 
But it wasn't the street lamps that came back on.
 
It was those decorative flashing glowing lights that surrounded the whole cherry blossom area.
 
My mouth was hanging,it was so pretty.
 
The colours were changing from white to gold to yellow to orange and a whole bunch of other colours.
 
I smiled and watched the light display.
 
If only Daehyun was here.
 
I heard a familiar tune nearby.I couldn't help laughing,4MEN's Baby Baby.
 
My breath got caught in my throat,that means,"Daehyun arranged this?"
 
I heard him singing and I froze.I couldn't move.
 
His voice got nearer and nearer until he was right behind me.
 
Daehyun back hugged me and whispered into my ear,"Missed me?"
 
I felt all the air rush out of me and I took his hands away.
 
I turned to face him,"Y-You did this?"
 
He smiled and held my chin to kiss me softly.
 
He pulled away after a while and gazed into my eyes,"Sorry it took so long,but I had to train your patience."
 
"By letting me wait there for six hours?"
 
He shrugged,"You didn't have to wait that long,but you kept trying to move things on,I had to slow you down somehow."
 
I glared at him but thought better of it and held his hand,"Its okay,at least you're back."
 
He was slightly shocked,"Jinjja?You're not going to kill me for leaving you here?"
 
I glanced at him and pulled his neck to kiss him deeply.
 
I really really missed him.
 
If I had to go through the same ordeal as last time,just shoot me,I'd rather die than wait and worry and hurt and then die.
