Kyuyhyun’s POV

It’s been 2 hours past the audition time but I still have not heard from Wookie. I called his cell phone but it was engaged.

I brought haraboji to the neighbour’s house to play chess with the haraboji there before I stepped out to look for Wookie at SM building.

“Is Kim Ryeowook’s audition over?” I asked the receptionist.

“Give me a minute.” She flipped through the thick pages of audition candidate list.

“He did not attend the audition.” She replied.

“What? That’s impossible!” I took over the book and looked for his name myself and saw that his name was not marked.

Shocked, I returned the book to her and left the building dumbfounded. Something must have happened to him!

Who could it be? The Choi Siblings!

 I took out my cell phone and pressed the keys to call Seohyun. It rang for a moment.

“Cho Kyuhyun!” She answered.

“Where is Wookie? Release him!” I shouted into the phone.

“What? I should be the one telling you this!” She exclaimed.

“What?”

“Come to my place immediately!”

“Ryeowook ah!” I shouted as I ran into the living hall of the Choi residence.

I saw Siwon, Seohyun and Wookie sitting on the sofa watching television.

“Kyu…” Wookie stood up and I rushed to him, hugging him tightly.

“Did they kidnap you here?” I asked him.

“Um… Yes and no.” He said. “What?”

“Um…” He stumbled.

*Ryeowook explaining*

Someone pretended to be you and sent me a message to see you outside the building so I went. In the end, I was gagged and unconscious. When I woke up, I was tied up here, in the Choi’s house. It was Seohyun that kidnapped me.

“Let me go!”

“You ! I won’t let you go for the audition!” She shouted and slapped me in the face.

“Let him go!” A loud voice came from behind me.

“Oppa! I just can’t stand him having what he want!”

Siwon pushed his sister away and squat beside me to untie the ropes wound around me.  

“Sorry, Wookie.” He said softly.

Siwon turned to Seohyun and said “It isn’t up to us to make others fall in love with us. Let them go. Most importantly, Seohyun, Let yourself go.”

I was surprised that Siwon has finally looked things through.

“Hyung.”I called.

“Go, Wookie. I’ll bring you back for the audition. You won’t be late.” He grabbed my wrist and pulled me out but I resisted and tried to pull my hand out of his.

“Hyung, I don’t want to go.”

“What?”

“Get lost before I change my mind!” Seohyun shouted to me but I ignored her and sat on the sofa firmly.

“Yah! Get out of my sight!” She shouted.

*End of recall*

“Yah, Cho Kyuhyun. That’s how your WOOKIE missed the audition! I beg you to bring him out of my house!”

I couldn’t believe my ears and stared at Wookie who was avoiding my eyes.

Quietly, Wookie walked to my side with his head bent low. I held his hands and pulled him away.

“Wait.” Siwon called and we paused.

We turned around to face him. He was smiling to us and said “I will be leaving Korea with my parents. I wish you all the best.”

Ryeowook’s POV

It was all quiet on our way back. Finally, I broke the silence when we were at the park near our place.

“Why did you miss the audition deliberately?”

“I….”

“Answer me!”

“If…If I win, I would have to leave Korea for 2 years” I answered guiltily.

Kyu froze. There was a moment of silence…

“You didn’t want to do the audition because of me? Why am I always the one stopping you from progressing?” He said angrily and punched the trunk of the tree behind him.

“Kyu…” I hugged him as tightly as I could.

“I love singing but… you are my dream now. Nothing is more important than you, do you understand?”

“Wookie… I hate myself.”

“Don’t!” I pulled his face towards me to give him a deep kiss to stop him from scolding himself. He tried to push me away but I stood firm and tightened my grip around him.

Soon, he couldn’t resist me and he responded to my kisses aggressively. It was after a long while that we separated our lips.

“I would do anything for you, Kyu. I believe you would too right?”

2 years later…

“My Wookie…” A pair of arms wrapped around me when I was in the kitchen cooking.

“Does your subordinates know that their president is so clingy?” I asked.

“Nope! That’s because I’m only clingy to you!”

I giggled hard and held his hands in front of me. “I met Seohyun todady.” I paused.

“As usual, she is a pain in the . But… she gave me this.” He flashed a white, silvery card in front of me. I took it and read it ‘You are cordially invited to my wedding reception’.

“She’s getting married?” Kyu nodded his head “I wonder who is the one that sacrificed to marry her.” I hit him in the chest lightly “Stop your evil tongue.”

“Speaking of Seohyun, Siwon called me today too.” I continued.

“What! You are still in contact with him?”

“Well, he’s my savior! Anyway, he wants me to ask if you are interested in a business venture with him. This is his number, call him when you are free.”

“I heard about that before, his new idea is daebak but I didn’t expect him to want to do it with me.”

“Well, he’s a nice guy!”  Kyu glared at me with burning jealousy.

“Did he say something else?”

“Um… he said that he misses me and he still love me very very very much.” I said cheerfully.

“What? Then I better not call him.” I crushed the paper with his number in my hands.

“Yah! That’s good opportunity!” I snatched the crushed paper in his hands and tried to straighten it out on the table to reveal the number. “and… the part he say he love me, I added that myself. He’s dating someone right now.”

Kyu turned me around at the shoulders to face him. “You lied?” I scratched my head while smiling with aegyo to him.

“You are so… dead.” Kyu carried me up in bridal style while I struggled and kicked my legs.

“Let me down! Or else, I’ll tell haraboji!”

“Haraboji is having fun in Japan, he can’t save you!” He ignored my cries and carried me into the room.

Gently, he placed me on the bed and kissed my forehead. “When are you going to marry me for real?”

“Hmm… It depends on your performance!” I said.

“Performance? In bed? I thought you are well aware of my abilities?”

“Yah! Not that! I meant your love!”

“Well… That’s even easier!” Kyu started to kiss every inch of my face and saying ‘I love you’ after each one of them. He started kissing my neck and slowly, down to my stomach with my shirt lifted up.

“I love you, I love you, I love you.”

I sniffed the air with a bad smell. “Wait Kyu ah. What’s that smell?”

Kyu stopped and joined me in sniffing.

Together, we shouted “THE STOVE!”

We climbed out of bed and rushed to the kitchen to see a charred fish on the pan. I quickly turn of the fire and threw the pan in the basin with running water.

Both of us heaved a sigh of relief.

“Pabo!” We called each other.

“You!”

“No, you!” we argued.

“Shall we continue what we were doing?” Kyu asked me cheekily.

“No, the mood is spoiled.”

“You have no choice!” Kyu picked me up again and brought me into the room.

He kicked the door close…

And that night, noises of moans and ‘I love you’ escaped the room…
