At the start of 2^nd year of High school

Jiyeon’s POV

The new school year has started.

As usual I am in SET 1 (only for top 20 students) of course he is also in SET 1.

Thinking of what is going to happen this year. Will it be the same as last year? I have no idea. *…sigh…*  I talk to myself out loud “OK start your school year with a smile and fighting” I smile while sitting on a chair in front of the mirror and say to myself “I haven’t change any, I am still Jiyeon, Park Jiyeon a stubborn, competitive and smart girl” hee hee.. :D I chuckle. Suddenly his figure runs through in my mind. How is he?  we didn’t get any contact during the holiday. Anyway I am going to meet him soon.

At school: 

“Hey Jiyeon are you all right ?” suzy greets me with a smile. “Hey I am good and you” I reply. “By the way did you see yoona?” she ask me. I say “no.. .why?” suzy reply immediately “you know yoona and Donghae, they are dating now” “ wow really!!! that’s amazing. They have been together as friend for a long time and finally they are dating” I say surprisingly. I feel really envy of Yoona. I look out the window and mumble “L they are dating now what about us”. Instantly I spotted a familiar figure that enters into the classroom. Yes, it’s him, my one and only him L. He smiles at me of course I respond with a bright smile.

L ’s POV

“Yo! Mr L how is going?” Woohyun greets me and give me a hug. I reply “hi! How’s your holiday?”  He frown and say “it was boring”

As usual he starts to joke me, he whispers to my ear “L .. you lost Jiyeon last year. She got 1^st and you end up with 2^nd so what are you thinking for this year.” I smiled and whisper back I am happy that she got 1st”  That’s actually true, I can satisfied with 2^nd if she got 1^st. We have been competing to get 1^st place since secondary school. In our life education is the most important and we always try our best to get a better result. The year before last year I got 1^st place and Jiyeon got 2^nd I don’t know why, start from that day I feel very sorry for her I don’t even want to try to get 1^st place. But ...I can’t stop myself from trying to get 1^st cause I have to…. I really have to get 1^st.

Woohyun again whispers to my ear “when are you going to confess to jiyeon. I think she is also waiting for that” I move my eyes to Jiyeon, who is sttting at the very corner of the classroom. She is having a conversation with her friend Suzy. She hasn’t changed any she is just Jiyeon, the very competitive girl.
