"Hyemi ah!"
 
I ignored him,as usual.Everything was already dizzy but I just wanted to walk away from him.
 
Of course,how could I escape a police officer?
 
He grabbed my hand and swung me around to face him.
 
My head hurt and I pressed hard on my temple.
 
He was holding my shoulders again,"Where are you going?"
 
I mumbled incoherently,"Home."
 
He picked it out,"I'll get you home,but its going to rain."
 
I giggled,eyes roaming again,"Just go do your job okay?"
 
His eyes pierced into mine,holding me firm.
 
I pulled his jacket off my shoulders with much difficulty and handed it to him,"Just go,I'll go home on my own."
 
I walked a few steps and he pulled my waist to him,"You're drunk,I'll get you home."
 
I pushed him away,"Just shut up and go,or I'll get you into trouble again."
 
He held my shoulders really firmly this time,his nails almost digging into my shirt,"I said you are in no way trouble to me,I want to send you home."
 
His eyes were full of worry and concern,I loved looking into his eyes,a bit too much.
 
He threw his jacket over my shoulders and walked me back.
 
The soju was seeping into my blood stream now.I couldn't walk properly.But Daehyun held my tight.
 
"Why did you drink the whole bottle?"
 
He was talking to himself but I answered,"Or else you would drink it."
 
"Bwoh?"
 
"I don't want you to get drunk on the job,its dangerous."
 
He stopped walking and glanced at me,figuring out if I was talking drunk or not.
 
Well I wasn't,the alcohol affected my body,not my thoughts.
 
He continued walking,"Don't do that,its crazy."
 
"You're getting me home,so it doesn't matter right?"
 
He took a deep breath,controlling his anger,"And what would happen if I wasn't there?"
 
"Does it matter?"
 
He stopped and grabbed my shoulders,"Don't you ever dare say that."
 
He was angry,I could feel it.
 
"If you could drink like that alone,what,what in the world,don't you ever drink when I'm not around."
 
I was seriously not paying attention,I was staring at his still swollen cheek.
 
"Hyemi do you hear me?"
 
I touched his cheek lightly,"Its going to take a while before the swell goes off."
 
"Hyemi,I said don't ever drink without me,are you listening to me?"
 
I wasn't,I leaned in and kissed his cheek gently,I examined it closely and let my fingers caress his face softly.
 
He froze,not daring to move,he wasn't even breathing.
 
My head ached terribly and I pulled away,trying to regain my balance.
 
He held my arms to steady me and I shook my head,"Ah,it hurts."
 
He pulled me along quickly and we arrived at my house.
 
"Password."
 
The numbers spun around and I couldn't see.
 
So I mumbled,"22532233."
 
He typed in precisely and we went in.
 
"Where's your room?"
 
"Upstairs."
 
He carried me up the flight of stairs easily,"Which room?"
 
"L-Last one down the corridor."
 
He opened my room door and laid me down gently.
 
I pressed my head,"Ah,apa."
 
"Where's your medication?"
 
I pointed to my dresser and he rushed to the kitchen to get a glass of water.
 
He gave my medicine to me and I gulped it down with water.
 
I laid back down and he pulled the blanket over my body.
 
He touched my head,"You shouldn't have drank."
 
I blinked a bit,"You shouldn't have either."
 
He nodded.I pulled his jacket out from around me and passed it to him.
 
"I'm fine now,go and work."
 
He smiled and smoothed my hair,he really didn't bother about my heart that was about to explode at his every touch right?
 
"I'll wait till Cassie comes back okay?"
 
I sighed and sat up,"I'm troubling you again aren't I?"
 
His eyes burned again,"Hyemi,I said you're not in any way trouble."
 
"I know."
 
"Then stop sayin-"
 
I touched his cheek yet again,I couldn't help but feel responsible.
 
"Its all red and swollen."
 
"Well,you did slap quite hard."
 
"You're not angry?"
 
"Waeyo?"
 
"A girl slapped you."
 
"Well it wasn't just any girl was it?"
 
I closed my eyes,I didn't want to understand.
 
He knew this and held my shoulders to make me look into his eyes,"I'm glad you retaliated okay?"
 
I scoffed,"Its totally swollen."
 
"I'm fine."
 
"You gotta be serious."
 
"I am."
 
"How can you be fin-"
 
He kissed my cheek gently and I finally understood.
 
We heard footsteps and people talking downstairs,Cassie and Himchan were back.
 
Daehyun laid me down,"Rest well okay?"
 
I nodded and he kissed my head softly before going down.
