-It's about to win

I greeted my sunbaes at work quickly and passed at Jonggyu's office hastily. "Annyeong Gyu~"

"Ah my Yeonnie ah~ How are you doing?" he smiled brightly and looked at my outfit, forming crescent moons with his eyes. I beamed up at him and fiddled around with my hands who held my phone firmly, trying to find an important number I'd have to call. "Ehm, being busy, I guess?! Do you know where I saved Kim Jaemin's number?"

"Dude, it's your phone." Jonggyu threw me a glance over his desk and continued typing something into his laptop while also looking at his work place's computer.

"Jonggyu!"

"What?!" his head spun at me and he smacked his lips, standing up. Jonggyu looked at me again. "I'm so going to get your dumplings for helping you in such a stupid situation."

"Stupid?!" I gasped and hit Jonggyu's chest as he pressed something. "Clumsy princess, my baby."

I stuck my tongue out and left. "I love you, too. Just come into my office at lunch."

He plumped down in his chair lazily and I closed the door already.

"I will!" I heard him yelling and chuckled.

I quickly dialed the number in the telephone on my desk and waited for the woman to pick up.

After she did I beamed right into the phone. "Good morning, Kim Jaemin sshi. I'd like to inform you about your request and the services we offered once more here from K.G. International."

"Oh, that would be nice. The kindergarten is really in the need of it by now. Can I ask how far you are at the moment?"

I chuckled and tucked a strand of my hair behind my ear as I wrote down a customer I'd need to call later on. "Of course, as you know, I, Kang Yeunja, am in the charge of your request. I'm as good as done with this one, it really fits my styles and I was glad you chose me. I'd have to give it to a higher station here and I just would need to know if I should call you again to make sure it will be given out to you and when or if I can just say it now and you wait for it in some time, so we can send the information needed to the factory who accomplish the furniture for you and the children."

The older woman hesitated. "I guess...erm..."

"Shall I inform you about the process in the future or should I just leave this by now and tell you it will come in about a month?" I smiled as if she stood in front of me and Kim Jaemin giggled lightly. "Could you maybe...inform me then? I think that would be better or I'll get confused or forget it over here. Maybe I get worried."

"This is no problem. So, either me or one of the workers in the factory will contact you, is this okay with you?"

She exhaled. "Yes, yes, that would be perfect, thank you. You work so hard, I want to say thank you, again."

"This is what we provide, this is our job, Kim Jaemin sshi." I laughed heartily and she did so too. "Then thank you again, and maybe we'll talk again."

"Maybe, yes. Have a good day!"

"You too, goodbye!"

"Alright, bye!" I beamed and a knock reached my ears. "Yes?"

Moonri entered and smiled. "You were phoning just now right? Who was it?"

I scratched my nose and wrote down some other names and numbers from my phone. "Ehm, just now, Kim Jaemin. I still need to talk to...Jang Mikum, Yoo Youngchul and...Ho Hojun, alright..." I mumbled, thinking about something I forgot but put it aside at first.

"If you're done, please tell me." she said curtly and I nodded. "I will."

She turned around and I stuck out my tongue at her secretly as she walked down the hall. "Be nicer, M'am, bleh~"

I turned back to the telephone and punched in the numbers, beaming into the phone and telling the people what I needed to tell them, may it be positive or negative news.

The telephone next to me rang and I picked it up, seeing the ID "Moonri" on the screen. "Moonri?"

"You told me you're done right? Please join the designer and office worker from your layer and me in story fifty. The big hall, you know."

I nodded for my own. "Alright, I'll leave my place immediately."

I set the phone back in its charger and pressed a button on the charger so whoever would call in that time would know that this office of mine was unreachable at that moment. 

I straightened my dark blue skirt and ran over my white Balenciaga blouse with ruffle hemline. I cursed at it for being strenuous and Jonggyu, who must've just got done, gave me a crazy look. The same expression was my reply and he smiled, wrapping an arm around my waist firmly.

"Did the dragon just call you?" he asked as we entered with some others the elevator and I nodded. "What do you think will we talk about? I mean, it's the fiftieth story, it's that huge hall with the big diascope. 

He shrugged freely and we quickly arrived there, seeing some of our co-workers entering already. We sat down around the table and the mumbles hushed quickly as Moonri bowed minimally to everyone. "I won't be holding you back from work for too long. It's just time for it again."

Our mouth twitched upwards into an amused smile, everyone's smile; because all knew it.

Every year we'd be able to compete with others in our own capabilities, what would be designing in our layer. It would even go over more than just our layer and workers, we'd also "fight" against other factories or labels around here.

"This time," Moonri smiled mysteriously, "it will go far. It will go deeper than all the years before. The competition will be held all over Korea. Every label that includes design in kind of these things will come from all over Korea. First of all, we'll find out the best designers from here. It will be around three or four. These persons will compete with other labels and try to win with their designs. Lastly, of course, there'll be only one winner and on the way to the top people from for example our label, if we'll reach that far, will fall apart and have to go back, leaving the competition to the one who will fight on their own. Doesn't this sound awesome? Just saying, the design who'll win will be shown in whole Korea, maybe even Japan and parts of China. This label will earn attention, so, guys? Let's make the world proud. Our everybody's manager has already signed us in and we'll give the information out to you as soon as I get them since I'm the boss of this layer. It will be like this for every competitor. If you have question, feel you free to ask them now or go back to work. That would be all for now, thank you."

She bowed and everybody stood up, some went back, some walked up to her and asked some things. Jonggyu and I worked here for two years. We knew how it would work.

Sadly, our label never really reached anything, we didn't know why. It was sad, yes.

"What do you think it will be this time?" Jonggyu asked excitedly and I shrugged, inhaling deeply. "Hm, last year it was modern...the year before it was old school...this time...the present?" We chuckled and I sighed, going into my office. "Don't forget to come over for your dumplings~"

"Dumplings~" Jonggyu melted at this word right away and I smirked, getting back to work.

I looked at my tiny, old wrist watch and puffed my cheek before ringing on Jiho's door.

He opened and smiled upon seeing me. "Annyeong Yeunja ah! Oh, what's this?"

I held the little box in my hands and smiled brightly. "Just cupcakes I made. Three are left and I brought along two, if this is okay."

"You're always welcome with food here." Jiho stepped aside and I laughed softly, putting off my messy street shoes. I almost tip-toed into the kitchen and set the box on the table. "I love doing cupcakes...I hope you enjoy them, I like them a lot myself."

He stepped closer, too after he stowed my jacket somewhere. "Then they must be delicious! Can we eat them now?"

I shrugged, looking at Jiho. "Sure, why not." I slowly opened the item and Jiho clasped his hands in glee. "Oh my god, look at them! They're so adorable! And you made them?! May I?"

Chuckling I covered my mouth. "That's what they are for, Jiho!"

He smiled at me again. "Omo, they're too pretty to eat..."

Jiho picked up the brown, tiny, chocolate bear and slowly started taking small bites. "You should stop with your work as a designer and open a bakery instead!"

"They are good?" I flushed and cupped my cheeks while Jiho just gasped and put a hand over his chest. "You dare asking?! They taste like heaven!"

I tilted my head, smiling in daze seeing Jiho liking my cupcakes. "I can always bring along some. I often do them!"

He stared at me longly. "...Seriously...there's no need."

"I'll get fat if I eat them all by myself."

Jiho gave me a look before taking another bite and I started to eat silently.

He gulped down the small, sweet cake. "Did you do just these kind of animals...or?~" I wiped my lip with my pointer finger and my finger afterwards. "I had a frog, a cat, a pig and...just, a lot!"

Jiho's big beam even reached his eyes. "I'd be more than happy if I could taste them a second time!"

"Order...saved." I blinked and Jiho chuckled sweetly as I suddenly thought of the competition held in our company and I didn't even notice the smile coming up my face.

"Everything alright?" he asked and I nodded. "Yep, even better. We have this competition going on now."
He nodded eagerly. "I heard of it, I think. Is it this label thingy? I joined it two years ago, I didn't do it last year, but I'm planning to join this year again. They do such things with designing, too?"

I smiled and quickly finished my cupcake, covering my full mouth. "Hmhmm! It's-it's for every label and every job, I guess. When will be yours?"

"In some months." he gestured over to the living room and I followed him, jumping around just a slight bit. "Wah~ I can't wait! I love joining it!"

"I can see that." Jiho rested his arm and the side rest of the sofa and I sat down on the small sofa next to him.

Jiho looked at me. "TV?"

I agreed happily and sighed in bliss. "It's really fun! I joined two years in a row...we never achieved a lot, yet it will be awesome. I know that."

He put his hands up high. "If Kang Yeunja says so, it will be!"

I nodded confidently and he looked at me after some time passed.

"Yeunja ah?"

"Hm?" I turned my head over to him and he grinned cutely. "Can we get home to you and eat that one cupcake left?"

I laughed and hit him several times. "Hungry Jihosaur!"

"Raaaaaaawr~" he imitated a dinosaur and halfway attacked me while I started laughing uncontrollably.
