I stared out of the window in the living room and heard someone coming inside. "Aren't you going?" He asked. I nodded. "I am going" I said without turning around to face him. "But I don't know where to go" I sighed. "Just followed the signs and you will get there" He said. "All signs are covered in blood and are almost unreadable". He sighed and walked to me. "And I also don't have a weapon". I felt he grabbed my waist. I shocked. "You're right" He said "Don't go... you're getting yourself killed...". I pulled him away. "Don't touch me" I warned him calmly. It was quiet for a few seconds. "I'm sorry" He then said "I just don't want to be alone again, can't you stay a little longer?". I shook my head. "I need to find them" I said. "But it's save here and you even don't have a weapon and maybe this isn't the only down what has been gone". I shook my head. I didn't want to think about that. It couldn't be that the apocalypse won. I felt a tear coming up. I wiped in my eye and turned around. "I'm going" I said as I walked past him. "They are probably dead!" He said. I stopped walking. "You're only getting yourself killed and you probably won’t find what you're looking for". "I know that!" I said as I walked to the door. He grabbed my arm. "I wish there was a way you could stay". I shook my head. "What are you going to do? Fight them without a weapon? They will kill you". How can they even kill me if I'm already dead. "What do you care?" I said as I pulled my arm back. "Do you know where to go?" He asked. I turned around. The night before I've been thinking a lot. "You said you have a car" I said and he nodded. "But I also said there's no fuel left". I nodded. "At my way to here I found a lot of other cars, there might be the fuel we need" I told him. "We?" He asked. "I can't drive" I said and he shook his head. "I'm not going with you, it's too dangerous! We don't even have a weapon". "Okay!" I said "We're going to get us both a weapon and get some fuel out of the other cars". He smiled, almost laughing. "We're not going to make that in one day". I nodded. "I'll stay..." I said, looking to the floor and then looked at him again "...Until we finished our weapons and the car, then I'll teach you hunt and we're both leaving". He sighed. "I can't leave this place behind... It's safe here". "You wanted me to stay, right? If you don't agree with my plan I am going right now while you don't know if I would make it to Kyoto". He looked at me. I knew I would survive the trip to Kyoto. I already had a plan, but it's a walk for two weeks. It's faster by car and everything will be done in a week, maybe... "Okay!" He said "But you have to make me a promise". I looked at him, wondering what he meant. "What promise?" I asked. "If we don't find fuel or weapons, then we both stay here". I looked at him. I already knew fuel was easy to find, since there were a lot of other cars around and the weapons we can easily make ourselves. "Deal!" I then said. He smiled.
