Why did she had to mention her?! We never talked about her these two years. Why now? I sat down on the couch and saw the plate from Mai's breakfast. I stood up and brought it to the sink. I walked back and looked out of the window. She didn't come inside. Maybe because she wanted to leave me alone. Or maybe because she wanted to train that bad. I saw her ran towards one of the dolls again and killed it with my stick, which I left there. I sighed and kept staring at how she killed all the dolls. She really changed a lot this past two years. After she killed the last doll she turned around and saw me watching her. She smiled and walked towards the caravan. I turn around and just sat down on the couch as the door went open. She came inside. "I'm sorry" she apologized while she laid my stick on the couch. I didn't say anything and just kept staring in front of me. "You're still mad?" She asked. I still didn't say a thing and just stared. "Ah... Come one... Why?" I saw in the corner of my eye that she walked toward me. I looked at her and she smiles cutely at me. "Listen..." She started "I know you don't want to talk about her, but sometimes you it's the only way to deal with your sadness". I stood up and walked to the fridge. "I'm not into the woman stuff" I told her. I opened the fridge but saw fast enough that there wasn't much left. What is a really bad thing in this world, why didn't I learn my lesson from last time we were out of food? "Jeez... Why are guys like this?" She said. "I'm the only guy you know" I answered back, almost laughing at her sentence. I turned around and saw her smile what also made me smile. "We're almost out of food" I told as I opened and closed many closets in the kitchen. I turned around again and walked to the door. "I'm going to get some food, want to go with me?" I said and saw her thing. "It would be a good training maybe" I smiled. She smiled back. "Do you mean I can kill demons?" She asked. I shrug. "Maybe" I said as I grabbed the stick of from the couch. "Okay then!" She said and we were both heading outside. "But I don't have a weapon" She said. "Here" I said as I give her my weapon. "You sure?" She asked as she took it. I nodded. "We're going to the nearest store and I take everything we need while you keep defending us". Maybe it's too much after two trainings, but I should trust her right. 'This would be a good training for her'. She smiled and nodded. "Okay then!" She said as she already ran forward me. I ran after her.

As usual the store was busy again. "Demons" I said as we looked at the store. There were 'guards' everywhere. "How are we going to do this?" Mai asked. "We're going inside-" I started but before I could do my story she interrupted me. "How?" "There are five guards in front of the store, you see?" I said as I pointed to the front door of the store. She nodded. "We'll should hid ourselves and won't let them notice that we're around" I told. Mai listened attentively. "We're going to hid us behind that stone" I said as I pointed to a big stone what lied in front of the store. The stone was very big and you could easily hit yourself behind it. "How do we get there?" She asked. She was right.The demons were in front of the store and we couldn't pass them without letting they notice us. "Different way" I said as I turned around and walked away, followed by Mai. We walked into a side street and saw the store again. But this time the stone was at our side. We saw the demons, but they still looked at all ways. I saw one of them looking at our side and quickly hit my head after the wall we were hiding. "any other ideas?" Mai asked as I looked behind the wall again to see the demons. The one who looked at our way walking to the others to talk. "Go now!" I told Mai. "But you said we would both-" She said but I interrupted her. "Quick!" I told and she ran towards the stone. I held my heart to hope that the demons won't spot her and luckily they didn't. When she was at the stone she hit herself behind it while holding the stick tight. She looked at me and I looked at the windows if I saw one of them walk towards the stone. Did they spot her? I gave her a "Don't move" sign but luckily the demon walked past her around the corner. I saw there weren't other demons around the corner. That would be a good turn for her. I looked at the other for demons and saw they didn't look. I gave Mai a sign that she should go around the corner to kill that demon. She stood up and made her way fast.
I saw the demons just walked so he didn't spot her. She stood quiet for a while but then she put the stick in the back of the demon. The demon fell slowly on the ground. I looked to the other four but they didn't seem to notice it. I saw she pulled the stick out of the back of the demon, who was lying on the floor now. She lifted the stick and pierced it through the demon many time. "What is she doing?" I told myself as I saw one of them walk to the corner. "This is bad, Mai come on turn around" I said while holding my heart. I saw the demon turned around as he was called by one of his mates. I sighed. I saw Mai turn around and she was whole covered in blood. It was pretty hard to see her like this, but now I think about it... She also saw me like this many times. That must be hard for her too. I looked at the demons again and saw the two of them talk... Two? Where are the other two? I looked around but I didn't saw them. They must be behind teh store right now... Maybe they're walking around and will find Mai. I saw one of them talk at a phone. "Since when do demons have phone's, they're becoming modern now?" I said. He hung up the phone and they both walked to the corner. "Crap, they noticed her" I said as I gave Mai a sign that they’d coming with... probably four. And I was right. Two of them stood behind her now and two in front of her. I looked around on the floor and found a tree stick. I grabbed it and ran towards the demons. I noticed they weren't fighting yet. Luckily. But were they talking? When I was behind two of the demons I lifted the stick and pierced it in one of the bodies. It's not the greatest weapon ever but it's a distraction. The demons turned around, so did the demon next to him. Maybe knew what I meant and turned around to face the other two demons. I fell on the ground because I was pushed by one of the demons. 'Now I'm out of weapons' I thought. I looked behind the demons and saw Mai pulled the stick out of one of the bodies. 'Did she kill them both already?' I though as I saw one of them coming towards me while the other one fell dead on the ground. 'How is she doing that?' I asked myself as I saw blood coming out of the last demons mouth. Then he also fell on the ground. She took out the stick and helped me stand. I scared a little by seeing her covered in blood... Her clothes... Her face... Her hair... there was blood everywhere. "Thanks for the distraction" She said "But it was also easy on my own". I laughed. "Don't hang the hunter queen out now" I said and we walked to the door of the store. We looked to the windows but were surprised to not see any demons in the store. We walked inside and were as quietly as we could. "Take as much as we need, I will defend you, remember?" She said and I knew she also thought we're not alone yet. I thought the same. It's just too quiet. I walked in the store and took as quickly and quiet as I could all the food and drank we need. Food and drank... that's the most important in this world. Mai stood at the front door and walked to the backdoor. I looked at her and she gave me a sign that there was no one. I nodded and took more stuff. She turned around again to look out of the window and heard her scold. "How many?" I asked. I saw her tell. "Ten" She said. "Okay! Go to the front door" I said as she did what I told and I grabbed all the stuff I packed already. I followed Mai to the door and we headed outside. "Did they saw us?" I asked while we ran. "I don't know" She answered. I turned my head around to look behind me but didn't saw them. "They're not following us" I told, but we still kept running. You can never be too sure. When we didn't saw the store anymore we went to walk. We came by the caravan and were glad they didn't saw us. I put the stuff in the closets and asked Mai if she wanted some dinner. She nodded and I made something. It's already dark outside. After dinner I told Mai to sleep, because this day was a long day. She trained a lot and escaped from those demons. I'm very proud of her, because she killed five demons already. It's like she's killing her whole life already. Maybe she's already better than me. I smiled but that smile disappeared already very fast. I saw someone killing like this before. How can they both kill the same?
