Mai:

I was already on my way for five days. I was already out of Kyoto but I knew I still had to walk days before I get into Saporro. I walked through the white snow. It made me slower and weaker. It was still pretty cold. Luckily it stopped snowing but there was still much lying on the ground. I hoped it wouldn't snow any more untill I find Sayumi. I was gone already for five days; four nights and slept in four different houses. In one of them there were dead bodies in the bed so I instead to use the couch instead. In another one I found dead bodies lying in the kitchen. In the other one's I didn't see any bodies. Luckily. I wondered where I would be sleeping next. I walked to a sign and gave a look. I held my finger on the arrow and followed it. I was almost out of this city. It was the third city since Kyoto already. I walked and walked and came into the fourth city. I stood still for a while as I walked into this city. People were everywhere. Or should I say demons. I hid myself between a rock and looked to the... whatever they are. They didn't talk to each other. They just walked. Like they were watchin the place, to hold people like me outside the city. They weren't human, I knew that but they didn't act like demons either. Demons talk to each other right? "What are they?" I told myself. I looked to the knife in my hands. 'Should I kill them? but maybe they aren't even demons, maybe the knife won't work... Maybe...' I looked to the many creatures standing there. '... They are with too much'. I hid my head when I saw one of them turn around. Did he saw me? Carefully I looked behind the rock again. I looked around but didn't saw the man who turned around a few seconds ago anymore. 'Where is he?'. I looked around to all creatures, but he wasn't there anymore.

Suddenly I felt a hand on my shoulder. I shocked and stood still as quiet as I could. I barely didn't breath. My heart beat in my throat. It never beat that fast. I wondered who it was but didn't dare to turn around. I felt like I was dead in a few seconds. "Maimai...". I heard a deep voice behind me.
