[Faith's P.O.V]

 

 

I took the elevator, then the stairs to the roof of my building.

 

 

I opened the door and there stood Kris......

 

 

I had expected Kai, or Chen but not Kris.

 

 

(Something must have happened for him to be here).  I thought (Because he obviously wouldn't come to see me.)

 

 

Maybe I was being a bit bitter about the whole Xian thing, but I thought we were friends,

 

and friends tell each other if they're going out with someone usually.

 

 

"Why'd you call?" I asked my voice even frostier than the night air.

 

 

"What no 'hello?' no, 'welcome back'?" He asked in English.

 

 

"Cut the crap Wu Fan why are you here?" He seemed taken aback by my harsh attitude 

 

 

"What's wrong with you? You're never this snappish." 

 

 

I didn't reply, I only waited for him to start talking again.

 

 

He sighed and ran a hand through his hair.

 

 

"Look, I know things between us haven't been the best...so I just want to explain a few things."

 

 

"Maybe you can explain why you suddenly have a girlfriend." I said quietly

 

 

"Is that what this is about?!"  

 

 

"What is what about?" I asked.

 

 

"Why you're suddenly so upset with me."

 

 

"Look, I don't really care who you go out with so why don't you just get to your point or leave." I stated.

 

(Liar,) I thought (You do care)

 

 

"What, I can't visit my friend once in a while, after I come back from being away for a long time." 

 

 

"Oh, so now I'm you're frend? Last time I checked friends actually talk to each other,

 

they know each other, and they especially tell each other if they're in a relationship with someone else!"

 

 

He was about to say something but stopped and thought for a moment.

 

 

"I don't think you have any right to say that to me, after all you never told me about you boyfriend." 

 

He said with disdain

 

 

"Boyfriend?! What do you mean?" I asked indignantly.

 

How is it possible for me to have a boyfriend I didn't even know about?!

 

 

"Jongin? Aren't you two dating?"  Kris asked stiffly 

 

 

"No, we're not, I don't know what would make you think so. Jongin and I are just....Sunbae and Hoobae." I replied.

 

 

"Really? Then why were you at the dinner with him? Why are you spending so much time with him?"

 

 

Kris snapped. I wasn't the only one who was on edge today apparently.

 

"I'm spending time with him because he's actually here Kris! I know you're busy,

 

but I didn't get a single text or phone call, and why are you always mad when I'm with him?

 

Isn't he your band member, shouldn't you know him well?"

 

I asked

 

"It's because I know him that I don't want you with him!" He exclaimed

 

 

"If you cared so much why couldn't you just say so? You never tell me anything! 

 

And stop changing the subject, who is Xian? And what makes her so important?" I asked

 

 

I was tired of being left in the dark about things.

 

 

"She's just someone I need right now."  He said.

(He needs her?!)

 

 

I felt something stab at my heart, my jaw tightened. I replied through clenched teeth

 

 

"Well, since you need her so much, why don't you stop wasting your time on people like me."

 

 

Kris seemed to realized what he said hurt me and said

 

 

"Wait, Faith listen, I didn't mean that you're not important I just-"

 

 

I cut him off sharply

 

 

"No Kris!

 

I'm done with being confuesd,  I'm sick of being left behind, and I hate being everyone else's second choice.

 

I don't know anymore if I can trust you."

 

 

I turned and headed towards the door back to the stairs.

 

 

Kris grabbed my wrist in and effort to stop me.

 

 

"You don't understand,"  He said

 

 

"No, Kris you don't understand." I replied softly as I walked out the door.
