(Yoon DooJoon's POV)

*Flashback to years ago*

He knew DongWoon left silently that night but he didn't stop him as he knows..

He himself makes DongWoon feels really bad.

Time passed and he still couldn't get used to not having his beloved dongsaeng beside him and then one day..

 

“Yoon DooJoon? Am I right?” A man approached him while he was on his way home.

“Ne, ajussi?” He asked.

“I know you are concerned about your younger brother. He exchanged a spell with me..” And the mysterious man with a black veil covering his face and was in just pure black outfit told him about what happened.

 

That same man who approached in front of KiJoon at that point of time..

“1000 years and only 1 year to achieve his goals?” DooJoon asked.

“You should know that he loved that Pure-blood 'Manipulator', that's why he did so.” The man said.

 

So.. DongWoon wanted that spell was also because.. He wanted to be compatible with a Pure-blood?

 

“1 year is not enough.” DooJoon said, “Can't I do something for him?” He asked.

DooJoon saw KiJoon standing somewhere afar crying and eventually dies..

“KiJoon ah~!” DooJoon shouted and once again, he woke up due to fear.

Alone in the room..

 

The door was opened just then, “Hyung? Gwaenchana?” DongWoon ran to his side and asked with concerns.

“DongWoon?” DooJoon was obviously startled.

“Hyung, lie down.” DongWoon had DooJoon to lie on the bed and he said, “Mianhae, I took your keys just now to lock the door as you are alone and I can't just leave you here.”

“Since you are fine now, here you go.” DongWoon handed the keys back to DooJoon, “I shall be leaving.” He said.

 

DooJoon looked at DongWoon slowly standing up, he was at a loss, he didn't know what to say but..

“KiJoon ah..” He called, just like how he did before.

Benevolently and gently, showering all his love for his only dongsaeng..

Although he might not be the same person anymore.

 

DongWoon froze at that moment.

“KiJoon ah.. Mianhae.. Jeongmal.. Mianhae..” he said, with his eyes closed, imagining KiJoon was still with him.

 

DongWoon's tears fell, “Hyung..” he said, his words are a little hard to be said as he's trying to stop himself from tearing.

DooJoon opened his eyes and looked at DongWoon, “KiJoon ah..” He called.

DongWoon turned and looked at him, with tears blurring his sight, “Hyung, am I no longer your dongsaeng?” He asked and started sobbing.

His heart aches as he cries..

 

DooJoon got up and went to DongWoon who is now on his knees and once again, broken hearted.

DooJoon knelt down beside him and hugged him, “Ani, you are my beloved dongsaeng.. Forever and always.” He said.

“Hyung!” DongWoon hugged DooJoon and cried while he is in the warm embrace of DooJoon.

“Joesonghamnida, jeongmal joesonghamnida.” DongWoon apologized.

DooJoon ruffled his dongsaeng's hair and patted lightly, “Gwaenchana, you did nothing wrong, you didn't.” He said gently by DongWoon's ear and slowly soothing him down.

Just like how they are before.

 

DongWoon then wiped his tears away, “Hyung, you remembered me?” He asked.

“Mianhae KiJoon, I lied to you just now..” DooJoon looked down, “Because I didn't know is it really you.” He said.

DongWoon smiled, “Hyung, I am glad you are safe and sound.” He said.

DooJoon looked at him, “The pure-blood 'Manipulator' is Min Ah, am I right?” He asked.

DooJoon knew that KiJoon has been loving a girl all this while.

 

DongWoon nodded, “To love the same person a 1000 years, with no regrets and no grudges. Till the last day of the 1000^th year, I shall perish and leave her to live, without remembering me.”

“And you only get to love her 1 year.” DooJoon said, “I am right, aren't I?” He asked.

DongWoon was puzzled by how DooJoon knows all these, “Hyung how did you..”

“I met the man, after he gave you the spell, he came to me.” DooJoon replied.

 

DongWoon was worried, “Did he do anything to you?”

DooJoon shook his head, “Aniyo, he just told me what happened to you, that's it.” He said.

“Jeongmal?” DongWoon asked.

“Ne. Hyung wouldn't lie.” DooJoon said.

DongWoon hugged him, “Hyung~” He whined as he is able to enjoy the same warmth but..

He had to leave soon.

 

DooJoon looked at DongWoon, “Min Ah isn't aware that you are leaving? How do you plan to tell her?” He asked.

“Hyung, I don't plan to tell her. Instead, I am leaving.” DongWoon replied as he let go of his embrace and looked at DooJoon in the eye.

“Leaving? When?” DooJoon asked.

He couldn't bear to let him go..

“This sunday, I have to.” DongWoon said.

“Thought of a place?” DooJoon asked.

DongWoon shook, “Probably somewhere far abroad.” He said.

 

DooJoon went to the table and wrote something for him, “Go to this address. Abeoji left this house for us and I guess nobody would know if you are there.” He said.

“Hyung?” DongWoon isn't sure that if he is still worthy of having whatever he used to have.

“You are my beloved dongsaeng, always.” DooJoon assured him.

“Komawo.” DongWoon said and he hugged his long-lost hyung again.

DongWoon prepared porridge for DooJoon and took care of him till nearing evening time.

“Hyung, mianhae. I got to get home now, my wife needs me.” He said.

DooJoon nodded, “Ne, I shouldn't keep you here for so long. Go back home safely and..”

He stood up and gave a pat on DongWoon's shoulders, “Heed my words, go to our house and stay. At least, we could still have the chance to look for ways to solve it.” DooJoon said.

DongWoon nodded, “Ne Hyung, arrasso.” He said.

“Be careful while you are driving.” DooJoon said.

DongWoon nodded and left.

 

DooJoon looked at DongWoon leaving, “I am willing to exchange.” He said.
