I rushed out of the class, my eyes suffering from staring for too long at Mr. Jerk’s muscles. I threw my books on the bench and let out an exasperated roar. “THAT. WAS. HORRIBLE.”

“No, it was awesome! We got to look at his muscles for an hour!”

“I’d rather look at Kyu’s scars.”

“Oh, Ama, come on.”

“What?! I hate him!”

I took a deep breath and smiled when I saw Kyuhyun approaching. Back from his music class, his fingers still playing the piano in the air, to the beat of the song he had stuck in his mind. I waited for him to be close to me before I simply went to him to hug him tight. His arms surrounded me in a safe cocoon and I purred softly. Yes, I know how to purr. Don’t judge me.

“Kyuuu ~”

He smiled before he said hi to Bee. Of course, I knew what Bee was doing at the moment. She was staring at his mouth. Same thing as usual. I was used to it. Kyu too. “Bee, stop staring at my mouth,” he laughed. “I know you like it, but still…”

“Mouth.”

Yeah. I really was used to it. I reached for a soft kiss on Kyu’s lips before I moved back from him, knowing Bee usually didn’t really appreciate the both of us hugging and kissing in the middle of the corridor. I softly pushed Kyu on the bench before sitting on him – it was way more comfy, honestly.

“Neh, Bee. I really don’t understand how you can like Mr. Jerk so much,” I sighed.

“I can’t understand your love for Kyuhyun either, no offense Mr. Gamer. I mean, a guy who spends more time studying his math and gaming than taking care of you…”

I pouted. “He sings, too. And he plays the piano. And the clarinet. And the harmonica.”

“Well, I don’t know. I prefer the muscle type. And I’m sure Siwon Choi is a very nice guy. He talked to me the other day.”

“Wow. He actually knows how to talk? That’s new.”

She sighed, rolling her eyes. “Come on, Ama. You’ve got to at least admit that he’s hot.”

“He’s got a fine all right, but Kyu’s is way better.”

 “I was not talking about his ! Though it did include that. But not only that. You did see his abs in art. They’re… godly!”

“Seriously, Bee? If that’s all he’s got, then he’s no match to Kyu. Kyu’s got ‘em scars. Manly men have ‘em scars.”

“That’s because your Mr. Gamer isn’t careful when he drives.”

She stared at him. “You know, a seatbelt is used to prevent yourself from dying.”

Kyu rolled his eyes. “Meh! No ! I didn’t notice.”

I stopped them before it could turn into a cat fight with me in the middle. “That’s enough. Bee, he knows this was a mistake.”

“He doesn’t know how worried you were.”

“I know,” Kyu sighed. “I know and I’m sorry. Now could we change subjects? This is… I don’t like talking about this.”

“Yeah, let’s,” Bee added, a smirk on her lips. “Let’s talk about Siwon Choi. He IS a nice guy right? Kyuhyun, you have all of your classes with him.”

“Yeah, he’s nice. But not very talkative. And he thinks he’s the best, when it’s clearly not true. I had 99.5% for the last math exam. He only had 99%. That loser.”

I chuckled before hugging him tight. The funniest thing about him was that he was being totally serious while saying this. Oh I loved this guy so much. “Kyu, you’re the best ~”

And that just had to please him a lot. He smiled and kissed me before hugging me back. I looked at Bee, and then at Mr. Jerk, who was talking with the popular es a few meters away. I sighed when I noticed she was staring at him. She really did like him, didn’t she? I knew I couldn’t change her mind, just like she couldn’t change mine about Kyu. I loved Kyu so much. She loved that guy a lot. And Bee was my best friend since our first year of high school… she deserved to be – to bee – happy, right?

That’s when I took my decision. I would make those two go out. No matter how much I hated the guy, I had to make him notice Bee. I had to make him know how nice and special she was. If they could go out, then everything could be – bee – okay and Bee would be happy.

I closed my eyes, hid in Kyu’s arms.

I knew that it would be a very, very difficult task…
