Cheering Up a Friend
Fame isn't EverythingJaehyun had lead me towards Starbucks, since he had a morning shift today. I sat in a corner by myself, mindlessly tapping the table. Someone placed a cup in front of me. I looked up and saw Jaehyun.
"Hot chocolate, drink it you'll feel better" Giving me a comforting smile, I decided to take a small sip. Although it was near summer, the warmth and sweetness of the chocolate had made me feel better. "It's good!" I held up a thumbs-up.
Jaehyun chuckled, "Feeling better yet?" I thought for a moment then nodded, "Yeah better than before" I answered taking another sip.
"Glad you're okay now, I would spend the day with you but I have work" He sheepishly smiled. I looked up at him, "We can meet later or something but we also have school in a day" He nodded, "Yeah, so either way I'll see you I should go back to the counter now"
I nodded, "Okay! Work hard!" I cheered holding up a fist. He gave me a smile then went back to work. I stayed and continued to take sips of the hot chocolate. When I finally couldn't feel anymore flowing into my mouth I moved the cup away. Guess I finished it. I got up and threw the cup away as I was about to leave I remembered that I didn't pay for the hot chocolate.
I went back to the cashier, Jaehyun tilted his head at me. "Why are you here? Do you want another hot chocolate?" He asked. I shook my head, "I forgot to pay you for the chocolate!" I began taking my wallet out. "It's alright, it's on me" Jaehyun said.
