Asking Why
Fame isn't EverythingA few days had gone by and it was Friday, it was still the same with Kai. He wouldn't talk to me anymore and he would always sit at the popular table, every morning I'd see him signing things and taking pictures, it was like that at the end of the day too. Maybe he'll change one day. It's 4:00 PM. I guess it's time to go home.
The walk back home was lonesome. I passed by a Starbucks, and decided to get a drink. "One Iced Americano, please" I said to the cashier with a long face. "Of course. Is there anything else you'd like?" I replied, "Hmmm. No thank you, that's all."
"And.. Your drink is free." I was confused. Aish. I forgot the cahsier was a guy for a second.
"Why would you let a stranger get a free drink?" I chuckled a bit amused. "Well, you seem a little depressed so, wouldn't a free drink help a little?" My face flushed a light pink. "Umm.. Thanks" I took the cup of coffee.
"I'm Jaehyun" He offered me a handshake. I shoke his hand gracefully. "I'm Yuna"
"Well Yuna, here is your Iced Americano." I smiled. "Thank you."As I looked at his face, he seemed familar. Wait! I've seen this guy before. Doesn't he go to my school?
"Hey. Don't you go to Sunghwa High ?" I asked. "Why, yes I do. You do too?" He replyed slightly surprised. "Yeah. I'm a senior" I answered "Whoa, me too!" He said excitedly. This guy is pretty nice.
"I think you should continue with your job, we've been talking too much that your customers are complaining." I whispered peeking behind me at the line. "Oh!" Jaehyun chuckled and sheepishly rubbed the back of his head, "I forgot I was working, I guess we should talk more at school? Anyways, have a great evening!"
"Alright. Bye." I said back to him while walking aw
