“Not good, just when to make a he starting move,” Krystal muttered.

“Who is he?” Suho asked.

“Luna’s crush,” Sulli answered with a giggle.

“Crush?” he asked with an uncertainty expression.

“You now like someone you like and you want to be more than friends,” Krystal translated.

“Oh, I see. So she likes him?” Suho tried to clarify.

Sulli and Krystal nodded.

“Welcome to college girls and I don’t think Luna would appreciate you too sharing her secret with strangers who we hardly know,” Victoria added somberly.

“Whoops!” the two gasp.

“Well, this should be interesting. I mean, I can’t blame either one but Onew did take a while to make a move,” Amber added.

“So how long has she had this –crush- on this guy?” Suho asked.

“Since high school but he is a year ahead of Luna so the two never really got the chance to take a step further – but now the two are older and much more independent, he is just now taking notice of her in a mature way,” Amber answered.

“I see. Um, should we interrupt them or help them?” he asked.

“We’re waiting for the signal,” Victoria answered.

“Is um, you friend going to hurt Onew?” Amber asked.

“Kris doesn’t hurt anyone, actually I’ve never seen him hurt anyone. He’s usually very calm and quiet,” Suho answered. The rest of the boys nodded their heads in agreement.

“He’s very conservative,” Luhan added.

The girls nodded although not believing a word since the expression he was holding – leave her be, she’s mine – is kind of a scary thought. And Onew, who was at lost for words. This was a first. For as long as they could remember, he was very laid back but hard working. They knew he had a thing for Luna but always was wary of making a move on her since she was younger. And now, he finds himself facing a tough competitor.

Back at the trio, Luna was noticing all the eyes and audience that started to surround them. She never found herself in a situation like this before and to be quite frank, she never thought she would. Knowing herself and the crowd she runs with, they were the ones that usually got all the attention. Her friends were tall, gorgeous, and could pull off a super model role – while she is the short stumpy one out of the five. And now she is in the middle of this, one is a stranger and the other is a good friend – what is going on here?

Cough. “Good morning Luna, hi bro, and hi, I’m Suho and you are?” asking Onew.

“Onew,” he replied.

Luna winced. Now what is Onew going to think of her. She’s not a player, she’s a nobody, and now the crowd is just building up. This is not how she envisioned her second year of college to be like and now she is feeling the urge to switch school, somewhere far and where no one would recognize her.

“Nice to meet you. Um bro, we should get going if we’re going to make to class on time,” he added.

“I was going but this Onew will not let Luna go, she has the same class with us too,” he replied curtly.

“Ah, well in that case, um Onew will you please release Luna to Kris, we need to get going since it’s going to be a long walk,” Suho asked nicely.

Onew pursed his lips challenging Kris.

Kris had no choice but to force a release by pulling Luna into his embrace. Luna was startled. Her friends were shocked. The crowd gasps but stood their silently watching.

“Let’s go,” he said and tugs Luna along. Suho waved goodbye to her friends and Onew. He signals the others to get moving to their classes as well. As they make their way down the school yard, the crowd disperses making room for them to walk pass.

After everyone turned to mind their own business, Victoria, Sulli, Krystal, and Amber walked up to Onew, who looked defeated sitting under the blossom tree. He was clueless.

“Onew, I’m sorry, I don’t know what to say,” Victoria offered her sympathy.

“I thought she liked me?” he asked the girls.

“She does, she still does but I don’t know now, we’re confused too,” Amber replied.

“Ever since she met them yesterday, it’s been strange for her and all of us,” Victoria added.

“But the question is, do you like her?” Krystal asked.

“I do. But I fear I may have waited too long now,” he answered sadly.

“Don’t give up on her if you truly want to be with her but don’t hang onto her if she wants to be release too,” Victoria added softly.

“I know. I wouldn’t hold her back, I rather her be happy than sad,” he added solemnly.

“Do you want to join us for breakfast?” Amber asked carefully.

“No, I got to run to class, I’ll see you guys at lunch, maybe?” he asked.

“Of course, then you can talk to Luna,” Victoria replied.

“Don’t expect her at lunch, that tall blond one, whatever his name was is taking her to lunch so if you’re in luck, you may get to see her but something tells me you won’t,” he said sadly and walked away.

“His name is Kris and I have a bad feeling Onew, you may be too late,” Victoria muttered.

Walking across campus is a lot of work especially since the campus had expanded from the first year. Her hand was still in his and it doesn’t seem like he’s going to let go soon. Turning back to look at Suho, who was following happily with a smirk – great, this is going to be a long day.

In the classroom, he nodded to a few classmates he recognized and pulled out the chair for her to sit. She obeyed and sat quietly. He sat on one side and Suho sat on the other side – this class is two hours long and now it’s going feel like a four hour class. Joy.

After class was dismissed, Luna had thirty minutes till her next class and her stomach was growling. She saw a few bakeries on the way to the building and since she has to head back the same way, making a stop sounded like a good idea. Without waiting for the two, she left the room as quickly as she could and stop at the first bakery she saw and ordered a “butter cream bun” and water bottle to go. Before she could pay, someone placed a larger bill on the counter.

“Can we get two more orders added on?” Kris asked.

“Hey, I was only ordering for myself!” Luna stated.

“And we’re just adding on, plus I’m paying, you should be happy,” he said.

“I can pay for myself, thank you,” she replied coolly.

After the order was paid for she gave him her part of the cost and he just stares at the 10,000 won. He shook his head. Suho shook his head.

“I don’t like owing anyone,” she strain fully added.

“Can you not just accept it as a treat, gift, etc?” he asked softly.

“Only from friends,” she answered back.

“Can’t we be friends?” he asked.

“You want to be friends with me?” she asked questionably.

“To start with, yes, is that okay?” he asked cautiously.

“Strange…” she thought.

“You would be my first girl “friend” so I’m learning or should I say we’re all learning,” he added.

“Wait….are you guys gay?” she asked jokingly.

“Gay?” he asked.

Suho laughed.

Then Kris joined in.

“What is so funny?” she asked.

“Just because we don’t hang out with girls does not mean we’re gay – to answer your question, no none of us are gay,” Kris replied.

“So Luna, do you have a boyfriend?” Suho asked.
“No, why do you ask?” she replied.

“Just wondering that’s all, come on let’s head over to our second class,” Suho said happily.

While Luna was walking ahead admiring the scenery, Suho pulled Kris closer to him and spoke in a low tone warning him about Onew and their history. Kris nodded.
In the second class, the two sat next to her again and while waiting for the professor to enter to room, her phone rings, it was Victoria calling her. She answered it using the camera mode and sees all of her friends on the screen.

She waved happily.

“Are you going to join us for lunch?” she asked in a motherly tone.

“Ah..” Luna started to say.
