"can I ask you about something?" Baekhyun asked with nervous look meanwhile the taller guy just stared at him. "what would you like to ask?" he responded.

"...according to your diary.. what is the relationship that has ever happened between you and Kris hyung?" he asked softly.

Chanyeol was silent. he give no answer this time. but Baekhyun grabbing his shirt. "please, answer me?" he can't stand Baekhyun with such a weak-look like that. he scratched his hair and tried to calm Baekhyun.

"he was my brother." he said.

Baekhyun shocked. his eyes open widely and jaw dropped. "really?!" half whispered. Chanyeol doesn't emit any sounds. "are you satisfied?"

he still couldn't say anything, never expect this. "how can you..."

"my mother married to a man. he has a son, named Kris." he explains it all. "my father passed away after being shot an arrow." Chanyeol opened the window so the wind can get in the room.

"if you guys are brothers, why should you hate each other...? tell me if it wasn't real." Baekhyun holds his head

"unfortunately, it was real." Chanyeol simply answered. his hands crossed. "I have bad past with that guy..."

"but–" he continued. "he used to be a nice brother for me." Chanyeol smiled, a lot pain drawed on his face.

"don't continue if it makes you sick of your past." Baekhyun immediately cut his words. Chanyeol shook his head "I don't mind it at all."

while Baekhyun have no idea, Chanyeol continued to tell his story. "but one day, I ruined his dreams. I crushed it by accident. he turned to be bad guy. his behavior became worse than before. because of this, Fire clan divided into two parts."

Baekhyun looked at Chanyeol "two parts?" the other male nodded. "yes, one clan contains people from Phoenix's fire including me, and the another one came from Dragon's fire, Kris."

"what's the difference of Phoenix and Dragon? both are derived from fire, aren't they?" he asked Chanyeol who having fun with the wind.

"they're totally differents. Phoenix uses the fire, but Dragon created the fire."

Baekhyun hesitated to ask more. then Chanyeol turning his back realised something from him. "does it hurt?" he asked, pointed to Baekhyun's bandaged hand. "what makes your hand get band aid?"

of course he didn't want to say honestly this all caused by Chanyeol's fire. he lied. "I got struck by knife and bleeding. but never mind, Lay hyung has cure me." he smiled

Chanyeol just sighed and take a seat back while Baekhyun circled that small room and found a portrait of a young woman with long black hair hanging down. a thin smile painted on her face.

"your sister?" Baekhyun asked. Chanyeol who just turned his head and realizing what was Baekhyun talking about, simply answering.

"she's my mother."

with small nods, Baekhyun holds the frame and eyeing it. "so pretty..."

Chanyeol just smiled at him who kept pay attention to that old thing. "where is she now?" when Baekhyun put that portrait back to it place.

Chanyeol paused for a moment. he threw his gaze out the window.

"she's in heaven now. Kris killed her."

"what do you think about them, huh?" Kris talked to his crow. the pet just flapping his wings, a sign he wasn't pleased to see the intimacy of Chanyeol and Baekhyun.

"calm, calm, its okay." Kris his crow's head.

but still, the crow kept flapping his wings and making Kris to put him back to his cage. "I will remove their happiness and change it into sorrow and tears." he said as evil smile appear on his lips.
