When i had a chance I asked one of the nurses about checking for the possibility of a baby being inside me. I made sure Taemin was around, nor anyone else.

I didn’t want them to worry.

She had told me she would talk to the doctor and they quickly got me tested.

Luckily it was a day that SHINee was busy.

I waited patiently in my room listening to my mp3 with BoA’s new song on it, “Only One”.

Taemin had made sure to put all of the songs from the CD he bought me and all of BoA’s new songs too before giving me it.

His foot was beginning to heal so automatically he had to start attending schedules. Not too many though. He would still stay at the hospital, even though he didn’t need too. He had checked out a while ago but instead of going home he requested to bring the little bed I had picked out for him and then he slept in my room.

I told him he needed to go home but he always refused. In truth, I really didn’t want him to leave. I liked it when he was there. It made me feel safe.

I smiled to myself, just thinking about him.

I was so zoned out and in my own world that I didn’t notice the person who walked into my room until the song ended and I heard a faint laugh during the silent pause.

I looked up and watched Taemin walk toward the bed and I quickly took my headphones out of my ears and made room on the bed for him to sit.

“Good mood?” he asked, taking a seat next to my legs.

I wasn’t really in a great mood, considering the fact that I might be pregnant or not but I decided to answer anyways.

“I suppose so.”

He smiled. “So, how are your injuries? Getting any better?”

I nodded.

“That’s good...”

He smiled and then looked down at his fingers.

I could tell something was on his mind. He looked worried and it made me feel uneasy so without much thought about it I moved my hand to his shoulder and held it there waiting for him to look up at me.

Before looking up he took my hand and held it in between his two hands and squeezed.

I waited a little longer until finally he looked up and slightly smiled.

“Sorry...”

I looked at him, “for what?”

“I don’t know… everything…?”

“Taemin…you’re not making any sense...”

He sighed, “I know…I’m sorry.”

“Stop saying sorry. Just tell me. You know I will listen.”

He looked away again, still holding my hand.

“I... My manager is…talking with Lee So Man about what to do with this situation we’re in… I may or may not be getting in trouble because I let you stay with us… and…I don’t know what Soo Man is going to say about all of this... it isn’t very professional for us to let this happen… and... I don’t know how he is going to handle this whole thing...”

I nodded.

In truth, I knew this would happen. I knew he was a star and I’m a normal girl, well as close to normal as I can get, which isn’t very close at all.

I don’t want him to get in trouble just because of me.

I was so frustrated.

But I knew Taemin was upset and I didn’t want to add on so instead I did the opposite.

“Taemin... Everything will be ok… I’m sure of it.”

No. I wasn’t sure of it. In fact I was scared.

I don’t know why though. It shouldn’t affect us. The worst that could happen is that I get kicked out of their house. Which would , but I’m sure I could make it.

“That’s the thing though... no matter how much I want to be sure everything will be alright…I can’t. Soo Man controls everything. He could easily fire me, or make it so I can’t ever see you again. He could easily take you away from me and I can’t deal with that. Not again…” he squeezed my hand tighter and brought it to his cheek. He pressed it against his cheek and closed his eyes.

I stayed silent for a minute until finally I heard him sigh again.

“Sorry…I shouldn’t be worrying you with all this… lets forget it for now...”

I nodded even though I know it would never actually be forgotten today. The thought of it would still linger in both of our minds as we sat here.

But I was willing to pretend it wouldn’t remain in my head.

We sat like that for a while until suddenly the door opened and the nurse from before walked in. she froze, not really sure it was a good time to come in and looked to me for approval.

Taemin looked at her and smiled and she smiled back.

She then directed her attention back to me and questioned me with her eyes to see if it was ok to continue.

She understood that I didn’t want Taemin to know so she continued with her words carefully picked,

“Ahem... Mi Young… the, erm, test result came back… and they are good. Meaning... you have nothing…to worry about…” she directed her eyes to my tummy and then quickly back to my eyes.

Taemin looked confused.

I wanted to cry in relief. I was so worried. That would be the last thing I would need.

I smiled gratefully to her and nodded.

“Thank you so much...” I said.

“Wait…what test…? Didn’t you get all your tests done already…?” Taemin asked.

I stayed silent and so did the nurse and he looked back and forth between us.

“What…test…?” he asked again.

The nurse looked panicked, “Oh…don’t worry. It was… just a quick test to see how her…injuries…are…umm…healing.” She nodded and then quickly walked to the door, “I’ll be going now, goodnight you too.”

She opened the door but then stopped, “Oh, Taemin…Will you be staying again tonight?”

She asked quickly.

“Umm…Yeah… I will.”

“Yah, you should go home Taemin…sleep in a regular bed.” I was worried about his back.

He shook his head. “Ani, I will stay. If you’re that worried about what bed I’m on, then I’ll just sleep up here with you…”

I blushed like crazy. Of course I wouldn’t mind it. I loved cuddling next to him. But still. The thought make me feel like a school girl with a crush.

He chuckled and looked at the nurse, “That’s ok right? If I sleep up here with her? Since she isn’t attached to the IVs anymore?”

“Umm…yeah, as long as she is ok with it…” she smiled and left the room.

Taemin looked back at me. I avoided eye contact for some reason and he took my hand again and held it in mine.

“Is everything ok? Why was there an extra test…?”

“It’s nothing Taemin. They just…wanted to check on something just in case. Don’t worry about it, ok?”

He sighed and then scooted closer to me after taking off his shoes.

I scooted over and let him slid under the covers next to me.

He was wearing sweat pants so they didn’t dig into my skin when he hugged me from behind.

“It’s late…let’s get some sleep, neh?”

I nodded and he hit the button on the remote that hung by my head to turn the lights off.

Without realizing it I fell fast asleep with the happy knowledge that I wasn’t pregnant.

Taemin’s POV

When manager Hyung told me he had to talk to Soo Man I got really worried. I don’t want Soo Man to  get mad and not let me see her anymore… I wouldn’t be able to bare it.

I probably would do something to try to fight against it and that may end up in my early retirement. Ugh.

I sighed heavily.

“Taemin…You should sleep early. Get some rest or something.” Jinki Hyung said to me from the back of the van.

“Ani Hyung. I’m fine. I really just want to go see Mi Young.”

He sighed.

“She probably is worried about you always staying there Taemin…” Key said.

I knew he was right but…still. I needed to see her.

I’ve been getting more and more attached to her lately. I don’t ever want to leave her side. I’m worried she’ll disappear again like last time only this time, she won’t come back or I’ll never find her.

“I know Hyung…just…one more night...” I said quietly.

Unfortunatly, no puctures here again because I need to sleep to get up for school tomorrow at 5 am uuggghhh next chapter though, I'll try to make up for it~
