Foreword

It’s been years since they broke up and disconnected every connection they had with each other. It was before that whenever they see each other; they’ll always talk to each other and whisper about sweet nothings and everything just under the sun. They broke up because of some silly thing called jealousy. When she saw him with another girl, who she thought was flirting with him. He didn’t really like the girl, but she never gave room for him to explain. It’s just that she was immature back then and right now, just couldn’t seem to get over him that she’s having such a miserable time now.

“I saw you at the bar last night.” He explained, even before she could ask him anything. “We didn’t do anything, so don’t worry.” He paused and heaved out a sigh as he ran a hand through his hair. “I changed your clothes and I don’t think you’d go mad at me for doing that, right?” She nodded. “I just want you to feel more comfortable.” He walked a few steps back and opened the upper most drawer where he kept her clothes neat and folded.

“You’re still the same as before.” She complimented and smiled at him as she reached out for her clothes.

“I know.” He returned a smile and walked around to go back to sleep.

“So, that’s it?” She angrily thought to her own self, expecting that there’s something more he wanted to tell her.

“Last night…” He paused and sat up from bed. “You told me that you still love—“

“Stop!” She exclaimed and ran downstairs to escape his wrath.

He was stunned in his position that he didn’t have enough time to follow her. When he went down, he saw that she was no longer there. What hurt him is that he still loves her and that he’s willing to do everything just for her to come back to his arms where she used to belong. But then, a question ran on his mind… Will we ever see each other again?
