[That One Person, You - Jessica]
Is this what love is?
Does it hurt the more you do it?
The more I get closer to you
My feelings grow bigger
It scares me
Such a precious person to me
That person, who won’t ever come again
That’s it for me, that’s enough
Just the fact that I love you
The one person who can’t see me though I am looking
The one person who can’t hear me though I am calling
Do you even remember me?
Do you even think of me?
Just once, please
The only thing I can do is cry but
Like a fool, I am waiting
Please come to me now
Come to me just like this
My last wish is that one person, you
Jessica repeatedly plays the song over and over as she scroll through photos and videos of her and Taeyeon back then when they were still free to hang out with each other, just to hurt herself even more. The lyrics of the song portrays exactly how she feels making it more emotional for her.
"She looked so happy with me. How stupid of me to think it meant something." she dryly laughed to herself as she look at how big Taeyeon was grinning on the photo with her.
Apparently, after everything she's done for Taeyeon, none of it was enough for the older girl to take her hints. The stupid midget thought Jessica did all those out of pure friendship (WHICH IS A REAL BUMMER). Although Jessica is also partly at fault for making Taeyeon think she's only into guys, she didn't think Taeyeon would be THAT dumb to not realize her intimate actions toward her.
"Are you really that short that you can't see me, huh midget?" (pun intended) she talked to Taeyeon in the photo. Jessica knows she's already fallen for the older girl. She once told Taeyeon she'd never do such things for love because it's stupid but look at her now...suffering after giving her all and yet, still not enough.
Jessica can't help but think how unfair the world is sometimes. She knew she did everything she could to make Taeyeon forget her pain about Tiffany and then in just a snap, she's back in her arms as if nothing happened. Now she can only reminisce the special moments she had with Taeyeon.
She puts a hand on her chest again after feeling heavy. She knows she's close to crying again. "Stop." Jessica said weakly, stopping the song playing that adds pain to her whole being and tossed her phone away. The thought of Tiffany kissing Taeyeon appears in her mind for the hundredth time. It didn't take long for her to cry silently; her tears fall into her pillow.
"Why are you so unfair to me?" she talks to God in between her cries. "I might be acting like a sometimes but don't you think I deserve better than this? Wasn't I too nice but ends up like this? I just want that midget to love me back...is that too much to ask?" she's a mess right now like a broken-hearted teenage girl.
"Ah, , what am I even thinking? I must be crazy acting like this." she laughed at herself and proceeds to wipe her tears. "I know I will never be on Tiffany's level."
The following days have become a challenge for Jessica for she has to pretend unbothered every single day just to prevent awkwardness in the apartment. They weren't telling her anything but they're definitely not hiding it from her. Jessica could take hints unlike a specific someone. Anyway, she talked less to Taeyeon and more to Tiffany to avoid any conflict. Too bad she has to adjust for everything.
Of course they still eat together and do the things they usually
