I was laughing about how you guys were so annoyed at Tiffany on the previous chapter😭 Next update is either gonna be tomorrow or the next day.

TRIGGER WARNING! Well, good luck on this chapter. 

Jessica couldn't say anything. I mean, she knows Nickhun have been cheating on Tiffany since Taeyeon already caught him that night but she didn't expect that Tiffany would finally accept that her boyfriend is a cheater. 

"I'm so stupid!" Tiffany used her shirt to wipe her tears off but she still can't stop crying. "I finally understand why Taeyeon lost her mind over this. She was just trying to protect me but I...pushed her away." 

Jessica still can't say anything, she wants Tiffany to let all her anger out right now. "Do you know how much I wanted to run into her arms when I saw her earlier?" She looked straight into Jessica's eyes, letting her know how hurt she was. "When she ignored me, I wanted to get angry. I wanted to yell at her for being unfair and for wanting me to choose between them." Tiffany managed to calm down this time, but tears continue to fall on her cheeks. "But now I understand...she was just hurt as I am when I turned my back on her for choosing Nickhun. Now, I realize how stupid I am for choosing a man over a friend like her." 

"I hurt her so bad that she got tired of me." Tiffany hugged her pillow and starts to cry again in silence. 

Seeing how fragile Tiffany is right now, Jessica thought of an idea. She actually hated the idea but she can't think of other ways to help her best friend. "Do you want me to call her?" 

Tiffany waved a hand to her while shaking her head, "Don't." she told Jessica. "I don't want to hurt her again. And I don't think I could ever face her after what I've done." Tiffany said, still struggling on how to stop herself from crying. "Jessi, I never wanted any of that to happen. I never wanted to lose Taeyeon." 

"I know." Jessica went to hug her which caused Tiffany to cry even more. "I know." she repeated to sympathize with her. 

"I want her to know how sorry I am." she sobbed on Jessica's shoulder. Jessica's chest started getting heavy as well after Tiffany vented. And she could imagine how hurt it would be to lose Taeyeon. The thought scares her but what's the worst that could happen, right?

Thankfully, Tiffany calmed and managed to stop herself from crying after venting out her frustrations. She thanked Jessica and told her to get some rest. 

As usual, Jessica took a shower first to let out stress too. Now that Tiffany had broken up with Nickhun, how will she be able to pick herself up when she lost Taeyeon as well? Jessica feels so bad for her but that's the consequence of her choices. It's not like she can control Tiffany's decisions anyway. 

"I hope you had fun :)" Jessica smiled upon reading the message from Taeyeon. If only the midget has any idea how happy she made her feel today. 

"Thanks again, Taengoo. I feel more than happy today, really." 

"Yay!! We should go out more often, don't you think? Hehehe."  

"I'd love that." 

While they flirt on texts, thoughts came down running inside her head. As much as she loves spending time with Taeyeon, it also scares her the way she gets more and more attached to her. Jessica thought it was just a silly crush at first and nothing else but the more she spend time with Taeyeon, the more it gets serious.

She's not used to feeling this way. Usually, it was guys who goes after her and it always stayed that way but that's not the case with Taeyeon. With Taeyeon, she's the one running after her. Jessica had never felt this way before and it scares her to an extent. 

"Please, don't hurt me, Taengoo." she said as she look at Taeyeon's contact name. 

The following day, Jessica decided to wake up early to cook breakfast for the two of them. She figured it could somehow cheer up Tiffany if she'll be able to eat something delicious. Bacon and eggs, classic. A bit overcooked but they're used to each other's cooking skills anyway so Tiffany wouldn't mind. 

Tiffany normally wakes up at exactly 9 AM during weekends so she knocked on her door, hoping her friend is already awake. "Tiff?" Jessica called out her name. The door suddenly opened and it revealed a tired-looking Tiffany.  "Join me for breakfast." she told her. 

She was then joined later on by Tiffany after washing her face and brushing her teeth. It's not hard to notice Tiffany's puffy eyes from so much crying last night.
