Eleven
HerThe following day, Jessica was still half asleep when her sister called. She groaned as she answer it.
"Unnie, I'm on my way there with Amber right now. Mom told us to pick you up."
"Why? Did you do something stupid again?" Jessica asked the younger one, closing her eyes again.
Krystal scoffed at her sister's response. "No, but she said you have to be there. Are you out of your bed yet?"
Jessica checked the wall clock before responding. "It's only 7 in the morning, for God's sake. I'm going back to sleep."
"Yah, unnie, don't you-"
Krystal looked at her sister's contact name in shock, seeing the older one hung up on her. "Ugh, why do I act older than my sister most of the time?"
It took about an hour for them to reach her sister's apartment and they were not so surprised to see Jessica still laying on her bed. It's definitely a normal sight for Krystal every morning when her sister's still staying in their home.
"Lazy-, get up." Krystal aggressively shook her sister's body to wake her up in which she later regret doing because Jessica pulled her hair. "Ahh!"
"I told you I still need to sleep." Jessica, without a care, tucked herself in her blanket.
"Oh, come on. Let this be the first time to wake up early." she continued on annoying her. "Plus, Amber's here. Aren't you embarrassed?"
The older one did not respond but later sat herself up with a grumpy look on her face because Krystal wouldn't leave her alone anyway. "Why do I have to be there?"
Krystal shrugged her shoulders, "I don't know, she didn't tell me. Now, go prepare yourself so we can leave."
"Are you bossing me around?"
"Yes." Krystal answered boldly. "We can have breakfast at home."
The two of them were always like this but it makes them even more closer. Them bickering isn't new to the people who knows them because after all, they're sisters. And siblings do bicker most of the time, don't they?
"Sometimes, I feel bad for Tiffany unnie that she has to live with you. Do you even do chores here?" Krystal started a petty conversation again, making Tiffany laugh.
"Shut up." Jessica says before entering the bathroom.
"She's not so bad." Tiffany defended her friend. "The only problem is we both can't cook decent foods."
Krystal shook her head in disbelief, "How come you two are still alive?"
Tiffany's smile weakened, remembering a specific person. "I have a friend that comes over and she cooks for us most of the time."
"Gosh, my sympathy goes for her then." Krystal unnie who playfully threw a punch at her. "She has to be responsible when she doesn't even live here."
"Taeyeon's...that good of a friend." Tiffany talked about Taeyeon lovingly, remembering how good she was to them. "You should meet her. Come over again next time when she's here."
"Oh, she'll have another mouth to feed." they laughed sitting on the sofa with Amber.
When Jessica finished fixing herself, they bid goodbye to Tiffany and immediately left the apartment with her boyfriend.
"Why did you disturb Amber to come with you and pick me up? You could've gone yourself."
"Ouch, don't you want to see me?" Amber acted hurt by Jessica's words.
Jessica then playfully put up a disgusting look, "Not really."
"I know you wouldn't listen to me if I went alone so I brought her with me. Totally worked, didn't it?" Krystal sister who gave her a glare.
Jessica, as usual, continued her sleep in the car until they arrive. Not gonna lie, she loved being back home. She could only visit them twice a month because she doesn't want to leave Tiffany alone in the apartment.
Their mom rushed to the door to greet her older child. "How have you been, my darling? We missed you so much."
"I'm good, mom." she gave her mother a hug. "Does Soojung give you a hard time?"
"Yah! Not even a minute in the house and you're already making it about me." Jessica smirked at her little sister.
Mrs. Jung chuckled at the sillyness of her children. She surely missed seeing them like this. "Did you have breakfast yet?"
"No, that brat rushed me to leave."
Shortly after, they all had breakfast without Mr. Jung for he is not available until dinner. Mrs. Jung then told her two children, especially Jessica, to be prepared for tonight's dinner. Jessica didn't really mind and she couldn't care less, thinking it would just be another normal dinner with some guests that their father would invite.
She went to her room and layed down her bed. Again. "Please, don't tell me you're gonna sleep again?" Krystal approached her sister.
"Why do you care? Go to your room." Jessica turned her back on her sister and closed her eyes.
"Oh, come on, unnie, you really are no fun." the younger one layed beside her sister. "Won't you even tell me what's up with your life? Is it that boring going to a university?"
"Don't you have a life? There's nothing interesting going on with mine so you can stop being nosy now." Jessic
