TAEYEON's POV

           I quickly made my way to their apartment after Jessica told me what happened. I can't take my mind off of Tiffany, I keep on hoping she's okay while I'm on my way.

"Please, be okay. Please, Fany-ah." I repeatedly mumbled to myself.  

I knocked on their door once I arrived, revealing Jessica with puffy eyes. I gave her a pat on the shoulder before heading in and went straight into Tiffany's room. 

The moment her eyes met with mine, I saw how glad she was to see me. "Taeyeon?"

I approached her with a worried look on my face, "Hey." I was looking at her wounded wrist when she pulled me in for a hug. 

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry, Tae." she apologized as she cry on my shoulder. To be honest, I still feel bad about it but I have no other choice right now but to act like it doesn't bother me anymore. 

"Shh, it's okay." I told her while rubbing her back. "You should be worrying about yourself." 

"It's not okay." she shook her head, still clinging onto me. "But I'm more than happy seeing you right now, Tae. You have no idea how much I've missed you." I can feel my shoulder is already wet because of her tears. 

She pulled away from the hug to cup my face. "I thought I lost you." 

"I'm here now." I gave her a smile as I wipe her tears away.

After composing herself, she let me sit comfortably with her on the bed while clinging onto my arm. 

She must've missed me so bad to be this clingy, huh? 

"I don't even know how to begin. I feel like I don't deserve to have you by my side at all." she said, facing forward. 

"Fany, you don't have to say anything right now." I told her. 

How come she's worried about me being here when she just put her life in danger awhile ago? 

"I have to. Do you know how ashamed I am to face you?" she asked but it only made me chuckle. 

"Yeah, right. Hugging and cupping my face the moment I've been here. Yup, totally ashamed." she playfully hit my arm.

"I'm serious." she looked at me. "I've done you wrong countless times and now you're here as if I didn't throw you under the bus." 

I turned to face her, "Can I be honest?" After receiving a nod from her, I looked down to play with my fingers as I speak. "I was so mad- No, I'm still kind of mad, it's not something I could just forget, Fany-ah." 

"I understand." 

"But I can't put all the blame on you when all he does is manipulate you. You're just his victim."
