Another taengsic date! Enjoy their happy moments while they last...

TAEYEON's POV

"Hmm, let's see..." I mumbled to myself as I try on outfits. First up, shorts and hoodie. "Nah, too simple." Next up, jeans and shirt. "I look good but I can't wear the same thing like the last time." Screw that again and for the last option, beige knit vest over white tee and blue denim jeans. "Ooh, nice." I pointed to myself in front of the mirror and admired how good-looking I am. "I'm not so bad, aren't I? Why doesn't anyone like me?" I suddenly burst out laughing and shook my head. "You're going crazy, Taeyeon." 

I'm preparing myself for a friendly date with Sica later. It won't be much but I hope she's looking forward to it as I am. I never really got to thank her for everything she's done for me so this is my way of appreciation. 

Time check: 12:35 PM. I still have about an hour to prepare so I gathered my stuff that can be used later before taking a bath. I took my time in the bathroom, wanting to look extra good. I don't know if I'm making sense but it feels like I'm going on a real date hehehe. Although Sica might not feel the same, I'm still glad she agreed to come with me. 

"I wonder what she's going to wear?" I asked myself as I put shampoo on my hair. "She looks too good in everything." I whistled at the thought of her looking good in any style. "She'd definitely pass in the fashion industry." I smiled to myself. Why am I thinking about random things at a time like this? I let out a chuckle, realizing how random I am. 

Before I put my clothes on, I sent Sica a text saying she should wait for me outside the apartment. There's not a chance Tiffany would see me nor would I see her since she's definitely gonna be staying inside with her cheating boyfriend. Then again, I admired how good I looked in front of the mirror once I fixed myself. I better look this handsome in photos. I quickly grabbed my stuff and rode a bus on the way to their apartment. 

"I'm here." I texted her and she told me to wait up. I guess she's not yet done preparing. I sat myself on the bench nearby to relax myself first. It's actually not boring waiting for her because I'm enjoying the fresh air until I heard giggles coming from their unit and later on sees the owner of the voice. 

How great.

Tiffany stopped on her tracks once our eyes met but I quickly looked away, completely ignoring her and her boyfriend's existence. I can still see her through the side of my eye, still standing as if she wants to approach me but her boyfriend took her hand and opened the door for her in the car. Thankfully, Sica arrived as well, bringing a smile to my face. 

"Hey." I stood up and greeted her. Damn, she looks good as ever. "You ready to go?" I asked. 

"Yeah." she smiled at me and bid goodbye to Tiffany in the car. I'm kinda glad she had to see me and Sica together though, I want her to know I can live without her. I've totally become petty now. 

"That was awkward." she told me as we walk. 

"Why?"

"She saw us together." she said full of worry. 

"So?" I quirked a brow, making her look at me. She stopped walking for a moment, probably surprised about how I'm acting right now. 

"What happened to Taeyeon?" she teased, earning a laughter from me. "Did you bump your head?" 

"Oh, come on. It's for the best." I told her and started walking again. "She lost me, you didn't. So what do we have to hide?" she was silent for a second. "See?" 

"You're right." she finally agreed. "But I'm just worried-" I put a finger on her lips. 

"Shh. Let's not talk about her." I pleaded using my eyes and I'm relieved she understood. 

I called for a taxi since it's going to be a long way ahead. We both sat at the back of the car to enjoy each other's company. 

"So where are you taking me, huh?" she asked, full of curiosity. I didn't speak, I showed her the tickets to the oceanarium instead. "Oh my god, I've been wanting to go here since last year!" she squealed out of excitement. 

"Really? Why didn't you go then?" 

"I keep on forgetting to ask Soojung and I really don't want to go there alone." she said. "But thank you, Taengoo-ah. Oh, I'm so excited!" 

I looked at her with a big grin on my face. "You must be so happy right now." she even called me Taengoo. 

"I am!" we started laughing in the taxi because of how hyped she is. Poor driver, his ears must've hurt by now. 

As we take the long road, I already assumed one of us is gonna fall asleep later onwards and I was right. Sica already has her eyes closed so I leaned her head on my shoulder for support. It's hard not to smile seeing a pretty girl like this next to you. The way she did her hair and makeup is so on point, I have to give her an applause for that.
