“Ma’am, you need to stay here overnight for observation. Is there anyone we can call?” The nurse asked Byulyi who was getting a plaster on her nose and a few stitches on her forehead. 

“There’s no one. I just need some painkillers and I’ll be out of your hair.”

The nurse was about to say something when a nurse came behind her, passing a piece of paper to her. 

“Well, uh, my colleague pulled up your record from the system and a certain Kim Yongsun is listed as your emergency contact. We’ll be giving her a call to come get you if you’d like to leave after we clean you up.”

How stupid could one get? Byulyi and Yongsun broke up months ago yet it didn’t occur to her to remove Yongsun as her emergency contact. 

Yongsun sent Byulyi to the hospital once, long time ago, because they were fooling around and Byulyi fell off the stairs.
